I ordered from here using Door Dash and I was less than impressed. Maybe it would've been different if I'd eaten in the restaurant, but I will probably not get the same thing using delivery again. I got the cream cheese wontons, which were fine. Nice balance of cream cheese to wonton. And I got the honey walnut prawns. Those were just so-so. The batter almost tasted like it hadn't been cooked enough. And there wasn't a lot of flavor from the sauce. Also needs more walnuts. read more

We love this place. It's the best Asian restaurant in the area. We usually order Mongolian Beef, Sweet and Sour Pork, Cashew Chicken, and General Tsos. The food is always hot, flavorful, and fulfilling. Our family has varied tastes, so we get both the hot and sour and the egg drop soups. Both are always really well done. Egg rolls are tasty. Overall, we've never been unsatisfied with our portions or food. The meat in the Mongolian Beef is always tender, well seasoned, and cooked proper. The staff is outstanding, truly. We have never had a negative experience with them; they've even been more than accommodating. Example, Super Bowl Sunday. Not being a sports minded family, we wanted to eat out and get away from the hoopla of the day. We went to Peking Garden to eat in. Unfortunately, they wanted to close to go home and see the game. So we took our food to go, and she loaded us up on extras to accommodate them wanting to close early. The staff is always friendly, always. I see both negative and positive reviews. Did NOT eat at this place. The waitress was straight up rude to my mother and I. She was not welcoming or polite at all. Had the worst attitude whatsoever. I took my family for an early dinner today at Peking. The place is at the end of a Fred Meyers in Sumner. Peking is not a huge restaurant but very clean and comfy. The waitress who served us was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the standard sweet n sour, Mongolian beef, beef chow mein, and fried rice. It was really good and the prices were great. Ordered 2 hours early, got to the store when it said to be picked up and got told to wait 30 minutes and hour and a half later, she is laughing in our face because we are frustrated that we still don't have any of our food. I wish I would have read the reviews before ordering from Peking Garden. There's quite a bit of bad Chinese food around here, but this is probably the worst. First, as others have said the fried rice is sooo bland which is super odd considering how dark of a brown the rice is. I found it funny that the manager insisted there was no way this is true in response to someone else's review. They clearly don't take constructive criticism because it was flavorless then and it's flavorless now. Second thing, I ordered mu shu pork. This was also bland, but that wasn't the worst part. They use mexican tortillas for the mu shu pork, which are way too thick. They should be making mu shu pancakes, which are much thinner and more wrap-like. Mu shu pork does not go well with a regular-ass tortilla. To me, thats just lazy and completely ruins the dish. Management, if you're reading this I think you need to be taste testing your own food because if you don't strive for improvement, you will not have repeat customers. read more

I come here every week, the best food is the General Tsao's Chicken and the Chicken Chow Mien. The service is excellent especially from Claire. Don't waste your money! My husband looked at the menu online and then called to order. I stopped to pick up our order on my way home from work. Imagine my surprise when they told me Pot Stickers, Chicken Chow Mein (really Lo Mein), Beef & Broccoli, and Assorted Fried Rice (no meat) was going to cost $37. The prices online are wrong, and they don't seem to care. Neither did they tell my husband that nor did they give him the total cost. I started to walk out, but they let me have everything but the Beef & Broccoli for $21 (got a $5 discount). Wish I had walked out. The Pot Stickers were good, but everything else was pretty tasteless. Ended up throwing out the Lo Mein w/the wilted lettuce. Added the chicken from the Lo Mein to the fried rice but had to pick out the yucky-looking mushrooms and then re-fried it. Will never go back! read more

Ordered the homemade chow mein with prawns. When my order came to our table I noticed it was missing the prawns. I asked about it and was told that they were out of prawns and that they gave me extra chicken. It was a small portion and they charged me same price as for the dish with prawns. Always get take out from here with the boyfriend. My usual is the veggie chow mein (with regular noodles), beef and broccoli, and almond chicken. The sauce for the almond chicken seems to be different everytime we go but never a bad experience. The beef and broccoli needs more broccoli and less of the other veggies. read more

Wish I could give no stars. The food was absolutely terrible. Almond chicken sauce was bland, and the pineapple chicken WAS RAW. There was also a large egg shell in the fried rice. When I told the lady that I wasn't going to pay for the pineapple chick because it was inedible she argued with me and told me that it was unfair to her and that I should have told her there was a problem originally. She did remove it from the bill, but when I was walking away to leave she said "you always right, we always wrong. You alllllways right." It was very rude. I tried to discuss the matter quietly in the beginning as not to attract attention from other guests, but I did start talking at a normal level when she started to argue with me. The fried rice tasted like nothing and seemed old. The chow mein was slimy and flavorless and the almond chicken tasted like fried chicken and the sauce tasted like chicken gravy. Don't get me started on the wontons. The dough was too thick and the filling was horrible tasting. The soup had no flavor. It felt like I was drinking hot water. We wasted over $50 there. I can't believe all the good reviews l, this place is awful ... Had the honey prawns because of all the raving reviews they were medium shrimp at best definitely not prawns .... The sauce was the worst honey walnut sauce I've ever had and at $12.99 I am not happy about the huge waste of money .i have been doing everything possible to get the taste out of my mouth. My sister had the chow mein and almond chicken . Chow mein was soaked with grease and was more like a greasy yakisoba then chow mein she wanted... Almond chicken was ok at best .... My husband went in here and ordered 2 meals an appetizer and what was suppose to be chicken chow mien with homemade noodles. Our total was a little over $47. When we got home none of the dinner came with rice just the meat nothing else was there. The chow mien didn't even have noodles it was more balls of under cooked dough. It was the biggest waste of money we've ever spent. I called to the them to let know and the owner wanted to fight over the phone with me. She wanted us to drive back to her restaurant for steamed rice and soup and we live in Orting. Not happening we have a toddler. Won't go back!! Even the food we did get tasted awful! read more

The most disgusting food I have ever eaten from a Chinese restaurant, Safeway has better Chinese food then this place. I called and spoke with the manager and insisted that I get a refund for all of the food I ordered, he laughed and questioned why I wanted to return it. I explain to him that I do not pay for poor quality of food. I returned the food and the manager went through every container of food to make sure it was all still there. I am assuming so he can put it back in the pot to serve it again at some point. Long story short I got my refund. Don't waste your money going to this place. read more
