We have been eating here for a while now and it seemed like each time we come portions get smaller and the food doesn't taste fresh. We got takeout the other day and it was the last time we will be going there. We got fried rice, walnut shrimp, almond chicken and some other dishes. The shrimp was just covered in thick sauce. We removed most of the sauce to only discover the shrimp itself tastes off. The almond chicken was basically chicken katsu with flavorless gravy. I Wish I Could Give Them Zero Stars !! I usually would order from this place for doordash and it was pretty good every time. I order today and I'm completely DISGUSTED I buy $20-$25 on their chicken fried rice and (Honey walnut shrimp). The shrimp alone were $15 plus tax and the rice $8-10 never minded the $10 delivery charge because I was always happy well I receive my food excited open it up I'm eating the rice and I realize I never got the sauce I asked for or No Problem I'm not gonna be upset I continue to eat the rice is steaming awesome. Welllllllllll I go to the shrimp take my first bite and I'm in shock taste like they had the shrimp pre cooked sitting threw sauce on it out it in a microwave for 1 min and put it in a bag. I call the place to let them know of this and he proceeds to continue to argue with me about the food I'm eating and blames it on door dash meanwhile how is that the case but my rice is so hot I could blow it. Stopped by this evening for the first time. Was greeted by a very friendly waitress. I ordered Mongolian beef, General Tso's chicken, and pineapple and prawn fried rice. All very tasty and priced well! We had leftovers from dinner and I'm currently nibbling on the fried rice as I type this out. Will definitely be back to try more items on their menu! read more

If you can find parking near this place, the battle is half won. It is next door to Fred Meyer and the parking there is hellacious. My tummy is full of Happy :) I ordered the #7 lunch special Chicken withe Cashews which comes with hot and sour or egg flower soup plus your choice of steamed or fried rice for $5.95. It arrived sizzling and was pleasantly more food than I expected. I always like getting more for your money. The food was excellent. The chicken was diced just right for fork or chopsticks and there was a lot of cashews in it. A lot of places will skimp you on the nuts in these kind of dishes but this was just right. Worst food I have ever had, and this has nothing to do with COVID. First of all, nowhere on their menu indicates that NONE of their meals come with rice. I paid $13 for a box of chicken and no rice. So that really bothered me. I would have had no problem paying extra for rice but it's kind of a given that chinese meals usually come with rice. All 3 of the meals I ordered did not. Second of all, there was HAIR in my food! I try to not make a big deal out of one strand of hair but I found 4 hairs that looked like dog hairs. Every time I picked up a new pieces of chicken, there was a black hair hanging off of it. I am in disbelief. The few pieces of chicken I did eat were extremely tough and dark. This is the worst takeout I have had since I got a bowl of chow mien made with angel hair pasta at a Puyallup dive. Pineapple Prawn fried rice - bland and the prawns were mushy. Silly me I expected good food so I ordered 2 for lunch for the week. Yeah....NO. Port fried rice - soy sauce color without any flavor. The BBQ port bits were small and hard. This actually went into the trash....and I almost NEVER throw away food. Honey Walnut Prawns - bitter aftertaste and stale taste to breading. The only good thing going for this dish is that the serving was small. Wonton soup - won ton was ok...broth was watery and again lacked flavor. Spring Roll - I actually spit this out. This place is fast for lunch takeout and the value is impressive. for $12 I got some absolutely delicious hot and sour soup, and enough veggie fried rice to last me 4 days..so basically $12 gets you a week of tasty lunch. Good Chinese is super hard to find! Their portions are generous and they have always been consistently good. We pretty much get the same thing every time but that tells you something about their food. They're chicken and brocolli is great and so is their cashew chicken. You get lots of veggies but never skimped on the meat. The boyfriend gets sesame chicken which he loves and I also recommend. Bbq fried rice is delicious but let me tell you about the cream cheese wontons...amazing!!! Both the egg flower soup and wonton soup are great too. I did read a review about the entrees not coming with rice. No they dont but it's not unheard of and when you receive the food and see the portion sizes, you won't be complaining. I do not recommend Peking Garden for the following reasons. We were looking for a replacement for our favorite Chinese Restaurant in Puyallup and thought we would try this one. We were somewhat shocked by the prices on the Family Style dinners. While we were offered Soup, Appetizers, and a choice of one Entree! At other restaurants, including the one we frequented, for the $14.95 you got ALL of the entrees and the items identified above. We went ahead and ordered the WonTon soup and the pork appetizer. My wife ordered the Sweat and Sour Chicken, I ordered the Mongolian Chicken, and we ordered (as a side dish, another 8.50, of Chow Mien. The service of the items was quick, that is true, and the WonTon soup was very good. There were only four pieces of pork. We normally get a full plate of the pork slices with sauce to dip them in, at least eight pieces. I had no complaints about he Mongolian beef plate, though it was a very small portion, in comparison. The Sweet and Sour chicken was also good, and the portion was better by their standards. The Chow Mien was not available with hard noodles and came with long noodles (Vietnamese style) and was virtually inedible. In summary I can only hope that we can find a REAL Chinese Restaurant in the area, this one is no longer on the short-list. IF you have any suggestion please let me know. read more

I didn't know if the doors would be good but Google said 4 stars and a lot of them so we gave it a try. OH MY GOODNESS!!! I haven't tasted food this good for so long. It was amazing and we didn't have to wait long. We had the "happy family" seafood medley and the scrumptious sesame beef. The food is so good I could only feel a pang of distress at the bill which with tip was $47 for two main dishes, a side of rice and a can of coke. Great food high prices. 4 Stars all day long. My husband and I ordered dinner here last night with the delivery option. We got a big portions of our main dishes and the food tasted really good! The fried rice was a little on the salty side but overall it was a good meal. I docked one star because the food was pretty late. We ordered it around 6:15 with the ETA being 6:46-7:09. We didn't end up getting our food until about 8. And we live down the street. The delivery lady said, 5 minutes before she arrived, that the food was almost done. So it wasn't the delivery lady's fault. But maybe the restaurant didn't realize an order was placed until it was already late. Well I ordered almost $60.00 in take out this week and I have to say it was nothing like it used to be. Same items same menu with higher prices which if the food was the same would have been fine. I was bland and less than ordinary. everything tasted the same from chicken to shrimp no change. So they took over a great restaurant increased prices and screwed everything up~~ This is without a doubt the worst Chinese food I have EVER eaten!
