Great food when you can get a table... we came here with my cousins who have to eat gluten free and we were excited to share this place since they are form seattle, got there at 10am and apparently today they had a 45 min wait because a 20 top ordered food... didn't even offer to seat us, never saw this 20 top table. They also told us they couldn't accommodate our table because the kitchen staff was backed up. This is a common theme in Spokane I don't understand why restaurants can't manage their kitchens? Buy more waffle irons, prep your toppings, be prepared for business if not business leaves and then leaves reviews out of frustration for the poor treatment. I won't be back. read more

Don't believe the wait time. If you ever decide to come here with kids do not believe the wait time. Example 20min it will end up over an hour. My wife and I stood outside with an infant and toddler watching others walking in front of us. Once they said another 5min ended up as 15...we left. read more

We ordered a Benny and a breakfast waffle, both were ok, waffles were a bit dry and could have used some butter or something. Lattes were pretty good. Food timing was off, we got one waffle then 5-10 minutes later got the other. We noticed that happened to the other tables as well. Neither meal was hot when it came out, just warm. I know it's a waffle place and you put sweet things on it. But I thought I would try the Benny. The Hollandaise was good but the ham was awful and the egg had no taste. The side of thick bacon was far from thick. Coffee wasn't that great either. I got an americano. read more

They no longer offer vegan options which is such a bummer. They used to have some options on their menu that they can make vegan, but they took it away. Ordered waffles for takeout and they were pretty darn tasty. We had the blueberry lemon and sandlot waffles as well as the bacon/scrambled egg/avocado side. The sandlot waffle is basically the "dirt cake" from your childhood, with crushed Oreos and gummy worms. The blueberry lemon sauces were delicious on their own and magical when combined. The waffles themselves are nice and airy with a great flavor. Not the biggest waffles I've ever seen, but they were delicious nonetheless. Overall a great takeout breakfast experience. read more

I'd give them zero stars. The waitress seating us was extremely rude. I had to have the silverware replaced twice because they were dirty. Ordered eggs over medium. Kind of strikes me as a typical hipstery place- visually appealing and sounds good in theory but just super lack luster. Not a place I'd go back to. My mom and I went here and we got The Curious George and the Bennay! So delicious. And gluten free, which is so hard to find places with an entirely gluten free menu as someone with an allergy. The atmosphere is nice and refreshing. Nice art painted on the walls and a sleek modern feel. Wish they had mimosas and then it would be next level perfect! Certainly my new brunch spot! read more

My absolute favorite place to brunch in Spokane - the waffles are amazing and the service is awesome and very friendly. I've had the London Fog waffle a few times - this is the main waffle that drew me here and man I was not disappointed. It actually travels very well too so was able to bring it home for the fam to try. Yikes. Whatever you do, don't order the Bah Mi Waffle. Imagine a sweet, vanilla and slightly cinnamon flavored waffle with soy sauce syrup, Siracusa sauce, pickled veggies and jalapeños. The syrup was so salty it was inedible so I ate the toppings and left the waffle. Not worth almost $16! My partner got the eggs Benedict waffle, and although the Hollandaise sauce was tasty, the egg was flavorless and the waffle was dry. Drinks are ridiculously overpriced. Coffee/tea should be affordable when you're charging so much for such a cheap meal. If you're just looking for a classic waffle with syrup or sweet toppings I'm sure it'd be fine, but they need to switch up their waffle recipe if they're going to serve it with savory toppings. read more

Took my son for lunch on a Thursday afternoon and found the small space surprisingly full. We were quickly seated at the window by a friendly, fast-moving waiter. Selected the bahn mi and the blueberry lemon waffle (with bacon on the side) and enjoyed the bright and cheerful mural on the north wall while we waited. In short order, we were served two beautiful plates of food piled with flavor. The bahn mi, which comes standard vegetarian, included pickled onions, radish, and (in our case) pulled pork, piled atop two waffles, drizzled with a spicy cream sauce that perfectly strikes that elusive bahn mi note. The lemon blueberry included two waffles, a lemon drenched custard sauce, whipped cream and fresh blueberries (and toasted meringue for a flourish). Both were simply awesome. Fresh, generous, extra-mile ingredients, great service, nice atmosphere, and inventive menu. Can't wait to go back! read more
