Excellent place to get a nice GF breakfast. I got the Eggs Benedict Waffle. It comes with 2 waffles and 2 Bennies. Ham is also included between the Bennies and the waffles. It was delicious - and I'm not even that much of a waffle person. I also tried their sausage patty - very tasty and mild, not very "sausagey" tasting at all. Formerly a food truck that became a restaurant in 2021, this place is delightful. The decor is bright and fun. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. They share with Emma Rue so you can walk through the entryway next door to get your coffee fix and bring it back to your seat. Lastly, the food. Simply amazing. Each dish is a work of art. The food from the online menu/ to go orders does not look like the pictures. It arrives within 5-8 minutes of ordering, which says a lot. My husband ordered the London Fog and when he received it and questioned the waitress about it she said "It's the same item. The picture used from the restaurants professional photographer just used a filter." Not only was that false advertisement but the presentation of the food was also completely off. The cream cheese was brown instead of white and the waffle was hard. I ordered the Benny for myself. It looked beautiful; however, the taste was just okay. I didn't finish it because my stomach started to feel uncomfortable. We also ordered the rosemary house potatoes and had an espresso Godiva drink that I only was able to sip twice. Came here a few weeks ago while staying in downtown Spokane. It caught my eye because my daughter is gluten free and dairy free and they apparently use all Bob's Mill GF flour and have dairy free options! My daughter had the strawberries and cream waffle (she never gets to have that) and my son a regular one. They both loved their food. My wife got a Nutty or Nice. When we were eating, she offered me some. From the way it looked, I told her I'd pass. She insisted, and man it was really good! Don't judge it by the look. Service was friendly and the place was packed. It was nice inside, but walking there was a bit of an adventure. I wouldn't recommend hanging outside there with kids. What a bizarre experience. Plenty of seats open. Table of one. I stood in front waiting to be greeted and seated for no less than 10 minutes while the staff came through several times. No acknowledgment, no eye contact. I finally had to reach out to request seating. No doubt why I was standing there. Then after an extended period of waiting for a drink and food (at that time it was almost lunch! : ) , waited for 15 mins for iced tea. Meanwhile, five parties were immediately seated. They did not have a chance to even wait. When the order came, they dropped off the eggs but wanted to take the waffle back. Their call. Meanwhile, my eggs were getting cold. I finally requested a check and left no tip, of course. So weird. The only thing I can think is that I am a clean cut, middle-aged white guy. I got the strawberry waffle and it was so good, first thing when i came in was greeted by an amazing lady and then a man who both made sure my table was clean and neat before i got there, online menu made it easy as i could decide what I wanted before I sat down ! Had many waffle and coffee options for me to try although i didn't get the coffee, the pictures looked great. overall this place is very trendy and clean and very good tasting and the presence of this place is so friendly. I'm not gonna lie, the waffles themselves are really tasty. The base waffle is the same on all orders, then the toppings give the pizzazz. I finally quit ordering the wild pumpkin spice, Mexican style, eggs Benny type flavors and now stick to the Plain Jane - just a nice solid breakfast treat. The reason I can't rate higher is the general price point of the menu with the value of what you get. A $4.50 side of sausage gets you one average size patty and that's on top of $9-$14 waffle. And to be fair, they aren't Belgian style, but two of the smaller square style. The service is nice, but in the end it's hard to justify the expense. I will likely be back for the experience from time to time, and I would recommend trying it out, but even the atmosphere is a bit lack luster compared to its immediate neighbor, Emma Rue's. read more

Staff was very kind and attentive. The dishes are put together so beautifully and with obvious care. The space is super cute as well. The reason I am giving 4 stars however, is because a majority of the waffles I saw as options on yelp, were no longer on the menu. As a vegetarian who also doesn't eat eggs, there were no real breakfast styled options like the waffles & gravy and Benny waffle, there were really only the very sweet options or a plain option. I am not a big sweet person so the lemon blueberry was just way too candy like for my tasting.. I would love to see consistent options on the menu and maybe a vegetarian breakfast kind of option if that makes sense. Something like the photos on yelp with the avocados etc. Though I believe avocado was an option to add on the side, I don't feel I should have to craft my own waffle and rack up a bill with extra add-ons, and would love a veggie friendly option that isn't just sweet. Side note as well - the poached eggs on the benny were some of the most impressive poached eggs I've ever seen. Way to go! read more

I enjoyed my first visit so much, I returned the next morning as well. The restaurant is popular, cute and trendy. I had to wait for a table my first visit. Fortunately, their sister business Emma Rue's is connected and I enjoyed a great cup of coffee in comfort while waiting. There's a simple texting system that notifies you when your table is ready. The gluten free waffles, prepared from simple Plain Jane to full on decadent were worth the wait. Not only do they serve up gluten free, but you can request dairy free as well. Service is served up with a smile and kindness, no matter how busy they are. The food comes out quickly. The restaurant was super clean, including their restroom. When I returned for my second visit, my waitress remembered me and called me by name when checking in for a table. I'm looking forward to my return visit when I'm back in town. read more

To be honest the waffles were cooked very well, nice and crispy with a little crunch to bready or cakey. Cute little waffle spot. I think waffles are the superior breakfast food, so they were guaranteed to do well with me. The waffles were fluffy and crisp on the edges and the plating was gorgeous. I got the lemon blueberry and my cousin got the Benny, and I fully recommend both. We both cleaned our plates easily and I fully recommend checking this place out for a tasty breakfast/brunch. This restaurant was a favorite for me (gluten free) and my family. SOOO good that my non-gluten free family loved it! There is more to this place than waffles. Of course you can choose waffles with fruit, cinnamon, or just plain.. but they also have sandwiches made with waffles and meat, as well as waffles with eggs, bacon, or sausage. These waffles are crispy and a nice texture- better than typical waffles. This restaurant caters to all foodies' needs and is suitable for vegetarians, vegan, GF, and those with less restrictive diets. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is lovely. The coffee was great and they encourage people who would like an adult beverage (yup, that's me) to grab one from the connected restaurant. Stop what you're doing and come here. This was my favorite breakfast on my Washington trip, and I'm a pancake person. We ate outside and the building location is perfect for getting to enjoy an outdoor meal but not in the direct sunlight so that you cook while you eat. Me, my husband, and cousin ordered 3 waffles to share: the bahn mi waffle, strawberries & cream, and the "pride-ful" waffle. I got an oatmilk latte too. The bahn mi waffle was my favorite but they were all so so good!! The pickled veggies and sauce on the bahn mi waffle were perfect--you could order pulled pork with it too and maybe one other meat option I can't remember. The strawberries and cream was so good too, you can't really go wrong with that flavor combination. The prideful waffle was so cute with the edible glitter and variety of fruits. The waffles themselves were perfect consistency and flavor--soft but had a light crunch.
