    Szechuan Beef and Chicken

Although I enjoyed the experience and the service was great my food left something to be desired... My egg flower soup was a bit on the lukewarm side and I'm possibly not used to the egg flavor of the broth. I was expecting something closer to an egg drop soup which has always been a favorite. I'm not sure what makes it different from the egg flower soup but this wasn't one I was loving. All of our food came out super quick and the staff is really on top of everything however I think I just wasn't feeling my Szechuan beef and chicken. But the chicken had to many nerve tender parts and the breading was to oily. Overall though my sister and her bf say it was a fluke and that it's usually really delicious so we'll probably be going back.

Full pan of fried and white rice

On Wednesday I called to order for catering and ordered full pan of orange chicken full pan of chow main full pan of fried rice 15 orders of spring rolls and half pan of steak and peppers well I showed up today on Friday to pick it up and was given half pans on all my full pans and a half of a half pan on my steak and peppers which was crazy knowing I had to feed about 20-30 heads ordered another full pan of orange chicken to get a half pan of it $269 for half pans is not cool I ordered full size pans

The food was great from the apps we got, crab rangoons and gyozas, to the dinner combination I got with the chili sauce. The food was filling and came out quick and staff was attentive.

What can go wrong with a strip mall Chinese restaurant? Well nothing at this one. Very clean and pleasant greeting. The service was good for a family run business. Not too busy with sit down guess but take-out Chinese was a very popular choice for the evening. Food was delicious and fresh. Definitely a hidden gem

There are a handful of Chinese restaurants that score in the 4 stars and above in the Northside of ABQ, and I've tried a few of them but really haven't found one that I would want to go back to. Today, I did. I was there about 12:15, and it was packed but only had to wait less than 5 mins for a table to be cleared. The lunch special for $ 9.95 was a deal. Hot and Sour soup was really good, with a choice of white, brown, or fried rice and a spring roll with a generous entrée. I ordered Chicken and mixed veggies and was very pleased with it. I would, however, note that it was more of what I would have expected if I had ordered Moo Goo Gai Pan. A light or "white" sauce as compared to a more "brown" sauce you tend to see with Chicken and mixed veggies stir-fry. Regardless, it was to my liking. My wife had Sesame Chicken and enjoyed it. The wait staff were very friendly and responsive. The decor and interior were dated and a little dingy but clean. Yelp rating right now is a 4.1, and Google is 4.6. I think that range is spot on. The trick now is whether it will be constantly good. I'll post back when I know that answer.

This is a great spot to grab a delicious lunch or dinner combination plate. Servings are generous, prices are great, and the owner is charming. Wonderful attentive staff. Lots of parking. Takeout and delivery is a breeze.

The restaurant is located in a strip mall with great signage. The inside is well spaced with plenty of table and an area where you can watch them make the dumplings. It was cool to watch our dumplings being made (I asked if I could take the pictures). There is an art to making noodles and dumplings and they know here. We ordered a chicken noodle soups, Sichuan Dan Dan noodles, soup dumpling. The Sichuan Dan Dan noodles were very spicy, but a real chili flavoring to the spice, not just heat. The noodles were fresh and not too soft. The chicken soup was excellent and when I added the chili oil, it was excellent! The soup dumplings were so delicious, not too think, filled well, and very tasty. This is a real gem of a place with authentic noodles and dumplings with excellent, friendly service. If we pass through again we will make it a point to stop in for a Tasty dinner! Thank you!!

She always gets the Miso Ramen hotpot and I've always changed up what I get between the sizzling plates and the hotpot options. Our absolute favorite is the basil popcorn chicken, we always get extra sauce as well because we tend to run out of the sauce before the chicken. But if you do come here please make sure you order it! They carry a lot of the traditional Japanese beers despite being a taiwanese based restaurant but that's not a bad thing, the Kirin in particular is hard to find in Albuquerque so it's my go to. The Formosa flight is also a great option for anyone looking to explore Sake. The service is nice and Lena is usually the server we see the most, she is great and always checking in on us throughout our time dining. We usually go in around 4pm and I believe it is typically the shift changeover period and it will be one or two other tables dining In and we tend to get checked on by multiple servers which is nice as a customer. We never have a bad experience here, and despite wanting to try new restaurants, we both consistently agree that Tasty pots basil popcorn chicken is worth coming here for, from there I always struggle with what to order as i want to try everything once and my girlfriend will always choose the Miso ramen hotpot. It's a great place to come and spend some time in, and there's even Boba and teas you can get to go! Typically the price range for us lands around $80 to $120 without tip depending on us getting the combo deal or not, alcohol, soft drinks, boba tea, and our appetizer. We also spend about an Hour or hour and a half dining In from the time we are sat to the time we have packed up our leftovers and are leaving out the door.

Easy to see the restaurant from the parking lot, cute tasteful neon lights point the way. The cook greeted me as I walked in, looking over his shoulder and let me me know someone would be with me soon (much appreciated; you never want to feel unseen) Neddie/Netty was helping at a table but acknowledged me then came over to show me to a table. She proved so helpful. I explained it was my first time there, she asked what I wanted to drink then said she'd send it out: it came by robot! I grabbed my drink then I had to read the screen to send it on its way: it was cute. When it came to ordering, newbie here, it looked like I wouldn't hv enough time to savor any of the main entrees what with other orders going on, and me hvg to leave for my next appt in 40 minutes, so I just ordered a shrimp tempura appetizer. A few minutes later, a dish was delivered to a nearby table when the cook, I learned his name is Viktor, asked if he could make it in 2-3 minutes, would I still like the bulgogi over rice or Japanese ramen: I looked to Neddy for her recommendation and went with the latter. Viktor was as good as his word: steaming sizzling plate of yumminess in front of me within 5". I still took 3/4 of the dish with me and it's even better as leftovers! Re: the shrimp tempura appetizer It was ok, perfectly battered and fried but seemed factory-determined cookie-cutter, all the same size, no heads, no tails. But it's a sweet, spacious establishment, cool in the 100° heat without being chilly, friendly attentive thoughtful service and tasty food. I'll be back to try the main stuff -- and allow ample time to savor the offerings.
