We came here for our first stop on our personal Edmond restaurant tour. We had a glass of Chardonnay and Pinot Gris that was delicious and for an appetizer, we had the bruschetta. The tomatoes were fresh, the vinegarette glaze was perfect, and the bread wasn't over toasted like a crostini, like most, but was still soft and delicious!! My daughter and I have dined at Pepperoni Grill many times since last year. In the beginning it was great but last weekend not so good. The service has always been excellent but last Saturday I had to ask if they are still serving bread. When our food was delivered it was beyond not good. My daughter always gets the fetticheni alfredo this time she could not eat it. I ordered a chicken ceasar salad. Usually their salads a great but this one had very wilted lettuce, was barely chilled and chicken had no flavor. My daughter had order a drink which requires rum. We were shocked to hear they were out of rum. This if feeling like a restaurant that is in trouble. Not sure if we will go back!!! read more

This is my 4th time here and I can't say that I've ever been super impressed. The first time we came, was the week of opening. Our waitress brought out bread and it slipped off the plate, she caught it and served it anyways. The second time we were here, was for a work meeting. It was incredibly hot in the restaurant, the waitress forgot drinks and my panini was about room temperature. The third time, they ran out of mint from the bar- which was ok. Our food took forever- we ordered pizza. Turns out- it was forgotten. Now the 4th time- which will be our last time, was a total bust! My ravioli looked like a deconstructed lasagna and tasted like a lasagna would. My husbands pizza had so much topping on it- that it weighed the pizza down, that he had to use a knife and fork, which I understand is acceptable- but at the same time, we're talking about pizza. On top of that- there was hair in the pizza. Not just on the pizza, but mixed with the sauce/topping. Our waitress told the manager and even though they removed it from the bill, these bearded fellas (managers) didn't even come to the table to address the situation. They were too busy socializing with the staff... And by socializing, I mean laughter engaged conversations that consisted of one bearded manager needing to run to Walgreens. The other bearded manager, after done socializing, was too concerned with his egg plant dish that the kitchen made him- he was so excited for beautiful plate setting- that he had to Instagram the creation. We love Pepperoni Grill! Great Italian food and super nice atmosphere. My family loves the Shrimp Alfredo, pizza and chicken Parmesan.

The feel of this new building was really nice. They did a great job with that. It's great to have more restaurants coming to the north part of Edmond. As evidenced by the wait, there is definitely a demand that can support this and many other establishments. That's the good part. I have to say that our experience was pretty bad. Timing matters, doesn't it? After ordering we sat for at least 10 minutes without any interaction with the server. Then the appetizer came. A few minutes later the wine came, and just 1 minute later the entrees came. We had to ask for the salads, which were another 5 minutes away. The rhythm was all wrong. If you're going to bill yourself as a wine bar, you must get the wine out well before even the appetizer and certainly the entrees--and the salad too! By the way, the merlot was slightly chilled, even to the point that the glass was weeping a bit. What is that? We really wanted to love the food since we live so close. It was okay, but nothing outstanding. The ravioli with meat sauce had a flavorful filling, but the pasta was soggy with about the same consistency as the filling. The Caesar salad, coming 5 minutes after the entree, was seriously about chain pizza parlor quality. The bread, like the mall location, is the highlight of the meal. Overall, I felt that the prices were fine, but the food seemed rather mass-produced...even Olive Garden-ish. read more

Oh my goodness... we love Pepperoni Grill! This has become our date night spot. They are an Oklahoma staple, and you can't live here for very long without eating at at least one of their locations. I'm so glad they opened another restaurant in Edmond after closing the one on 33rd & Broadway years ago. The decor at this location is lovely. As is the staff. Every time we've been here we have received excellent service at the hostess stand, as well as from our servers. The wait can tend to be long on weekends, so prepare for that. The complimentary bread is wonderful, they have a great wine selection, and their food is out of this world! And such a great price. The portions are massive! I love their chicken parmigiana with Alfredo sauce instead of marinara! It is so wonderful. It's like it gets better every time I order it. I cannot bring myself to order anything else! I dont remember what I had ordered, but I still remember it was really tasty. Some tortellini dish. It was very crowded there, but expected on Friday evenings at almost any restaurant. Even with the full restaurant, the waitress we had was on point! Dont remember her name but she didn't let a glass go empty and was there to take a plate once it was finished. Good food, good service (not great... I think our server was new), casual atmosphere, Great Decor, lots of staff buzzing around. We were a bit early on a Saturday night, so were seated immediately, but there was a wait for a while shortly after. Our food was out quickly, salads very tasty, pizza and grilled chicken risotto was tasty. Several young families with small children. We really liked the vibe, menu, decor and layout. ***However, the restaurant is so LOUD that we could not enjoy the conversation over dinner. Went to this location walked in and told them we have 7 in a party and was presented with a blank stare from the hostess, than both hostesses scrambled looking around wondering where they were going to put a large party, they went ahead and took our name and told us we could wait in the foyer, it was 20 degrees outside and waiting in the foyers was close to the outside temperature....that alone made us cancel our reservation and leave....place does not have an adequate waiting area, no room for big parties and staff who seem like they are not customer centric. read more

I am disappointed...I called today for reservations for 8....specifically asking if the round table in the corner was available at 6:30. I was told, "Yes, it's available!" We arrived and were seated at an oblong table...another party was at the round table. Soooo upset. We enjoy sitting at the round table because it's a group that doesn't get to visit together very often and the round table gives everyone the opportunity to hear and visit with everyone! In the times I have been here I have ordered, the pepperoni pizza and, the fried calamari. The pepperoni pizza is decent and the fried calamari had good flavor. They bring out cheese bread when you first sit down and in my previous experiences with the restaurant (the pepperoni grill in Penn square mall) the food is much and the bread is better also. This location has great business and never fails to draw people in, good customer service. I would recommend this restaurant but, choose carefully. read more

The dinner here is pretty standard (pizza, pasta, etc.) What makes this place stand out is their brunch on the weekends. I enjoy their chicken fried steak and the crab cake with hollandaise. They have delicious bread and their portions are rather large. The prices are reasonable as well. read more

What a great dinner we had last night. It had been a long day, we were both starving and had no reservation on a Saturday night. We made an impromptu stop with hopes the wait wasn't endless. It was quite full but a couple high tops were available in the bar area. We said YES! Chairs were very comfy and we had hot bread on our table before we even got settled into our seats. Our waitress was super knowledgeable about the menu and had great energy. She said they pride themselves on being flexible about side dishes, food allergies etc. I ordered the grilled salmon over veggie risotto and my husband ordered the sea food bowl. I told her that I like my salmon fully cooked. She said over cooked salmon is so dry, so If we are a little under we can send it right back for a little more heat rather than over doing it. When the plates arrived they smelled AMAZING but cutting into my fish it was too raw for me. No problem. Right back to the kitchen and right back out cooked perfectly. So disappointed! Usually order their food to go. It was a nice evening and thought we'd go in. Instead of being greeted with a hello, we received a rude "how many?" and asked a phone number and told "twenty minutes". Once sat, we received bread and one drink. Bread was gone in a minute and never asked if we wanted more. Was never offered a refill or given the extra plate we requested. The meatballs were missing off the spaghetti that we ordered and someone was vacuuming under our table while we were still trying to eat. Unacceptable when you pay good money for their food and wine and want good service. Won't return. Food isn't good enough to justify. read more

My experience was closer to one star, but this was my third trip to the restaurant and the first two trips were good food and service, so I will give them a three stars. My last trip was closer to closing time and the waitress was not knowledgeable and was anxious for us to get in and get out. DONT STAY OPEN TILL 10 IF YOU WANT TO CLOSE AT 9:30!! Choke on the yolk. Normally like this place for Italian when Othellos is not open. So, this review just covers me trying Sunday brunch here this once and just the one plate. Do not order the crab benedict. Very dry crab cake without much flavor. Over cooked. I could break my tooth on the toast and and english muffin. The poached egg was basically hard boiled. The yolk was cooked all the way so I did not have it yummy and runny. The hollandaise sauce was scarce and almost dried onto the egg. Cool country potatoes too. Disaster dish. So from now on I will stick to what they do best. Decent Italian fair. My wife had good salad and pizza. They have good bread brought to the table to snack on before the meal but I wish it was made fresh today and hot. Great service as always and they did a huge good by removing the charge for the dish and took good notes. That waiter was a good guy today for sure. This is a local place so come in and don't sweat this review. The last time I ate here was a great dinner. Appetizers are good too. read more

In a town full of chain restaurants, this is one worth visiting. Clean, good staffing, nice ambience and a menu that has the classics and a choice of other items that are worth a try. What got me was, the price point is similar to many other restaurants in the area, you get good quality food, a great selection and a lovely overall experience. The wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable. (And they did something that others can't seem to grasp.... they smiled!!) Funny how something so simple makes you feel appreciated that you choose to travel there and spend your money. Our meal 1 app, 2 house salads, 2 pasta entrees, 3 desserts and 2 ice teas = approx $75 + 20% tip. Nice night out. We got there early. Good thing, it got full. Always love the food at Pepperoni Grill. They also have the best cheese bread and balsamic dipping sauce I have ever had.

It may seem pricey but the portions are HUGE (feeds twice usually). Cheesy bread dropped off as soon as you're greeted! Good service and a great balance of fine and casual dining.
