I am a regular customer here. I buy donuts, burgers, and coffee 2-3 times a week. The Asian couple who work here are always friendly and welcoming. My son loves coming here to get donuts after schools Sometimes I need change so I come and they always are welcome to get change. But not today, there's a Hispanic women who works her occasionally who is always hella rude and damn annoying. She can sometimes be friendly and then next day be a total bitch. I used to love Perfect Donuts. While the donuts weren't "perfect," they were damn good and well priced. And the service, when I'd go in the afternoons, was spectacular. Lovely gal who, when they were out of what I normally asked for (and they were usually out of at least one of my faves,) would toss in a few donuts holes as compensation. This morning, however, was...now...my last trip to PD. Surly, sloppy person behind the counter. Mumbled something to me as she started to get my order. Asked her what she'd said and she impatiently snapped "Do you want to pick them or do you want ME to?" I was about to ask if she was in my head and knew my preferences but decided against it and ordered my usual. She rings me up and says, "$12.00 even." I told her that 12 donuts at PD had never cost more than slightly over $10.00. Her: Yeah, well...it's a quarter extra for every fancy one you get." Me: "Which are the fancy ones? These are regular donuts." Her: "Well...our prices went up, um, like, two weeks ago." I had folks who were looking forward to donuts waiting and I was on a schedule, else I'd have been gone. I had to stop for a burger here simply because of the way it looked. It just caught my eye. And dammit, I'm sooo glad I did. The owners were VERY nice and the burger was damn tasty. We just moved to the area so I thought I would try this place. My daughter and I were the first customers of the day I think. We walked in and said Good Morning! The female worker said hello as she walked out from behind the counter. She then started taking several chairs and tables outside, she then picked up some trash near the front door. She then turned on her stores neon signs. This was AFTER we walked in. We were standing there while she did all of this, very awkward. She never said just a minute or I'll be right with you...nothing. Once she decided to help us she said "Are you ready?" I said yes and she replied "go ahead then" she had a rude tone of voice. We picked our donuts really fast as I had the feeling we were a bother to her, she said the total was $11.20, my square receipt text message after I left said the charge was $12.50, I guess she added a tip for herself. As we were leaving my daughter and I both said thank you have a good day, she didn't respond, I looked at her as I said it so I know she heard me. We won't be back, horrible customer service. Very disappointing. I'm happy to drive a little further next time for good customer service. read more

Donuts... Donuts forever. This place truly lives up to its name. They have a wide selection, and more importantly... They make a KILLER maple bar! I'm sold on a place that can make me melt with a tasty maple bar. There's only been a couple times when I've come in and they've ran out of maple bars. They usually like to keep those well-stocked! For the folks who run the place most nights, I give them 5 stars. But if the lady working Sunday morning had been the person I dealt with on my first visit, I doubt I would've come back. I believe they open at 7am and close around 9pm but they do close early on Sunday (2pm). Also, they are cash only and they do have an ATM. We love the boba smoothies, love the donuts, and the people who are usually there are very sweet... but... The lady I dealt with this Sunday morning was on her phone the whole time and really seemed like she wanted me to gtfo. However, the real problem was that we came in solely for a boba smoothie and when we ordered the drinks, she said "the boba is not ready yet"... so we hesitated a bit and decided to order a couple donuts. After she rang us up, my boyfriend asked when the boba is usually ready so we know from now on... she responds "At 9:20".... My boyfriend looks at his watch and I swear to God, it was 9:17!!!!!!! So he says "you mean like in 3 minutes?" and she (still on the phone) responds "Uh, yea, I guess so" and laughs. DON'T YOU THINK YOU SHOULD HAVE MENTIONED THAT BEFORE??!? I mean, hello! We obviously would have waited 3 minutes. Seriously pissed my boyfriend off since he had just got off of his 15 hour shift (he's a police officer) and had very little patience left. I was pretty pissed off too, but we just left and complained about it our whole drive up to San Francisco. I wish I could give this place 5 stars, seriously. read more

I love this place so much! When i first moved to the neighborhood i wouldn't go near it, the sign said "Teriyaki, Hamburger, Ice cream!" And i thought, "Oh, hell no!" I first came in for their boba which is delish, the place is owned by the cutest husband/ wife duo, and you will sometimes see their daughter working on her homework in the corner, it's quite adorable. I had only ever gotten donuts, and egg & cheese croissants, all very good, but tonight I tried their veggie fried rice for the first time, and it is so so good.
