The baristas and cashiers are SO FRIENDLY! I always feel well taken care of, and valued as a customer. I have ordered a flat white once and a latte the second time. Both were with oat milk. The latte was okay. It did the job! The shop has a good mix of locals and tourists- always a great sign. The tables are small, but you are able to fit one laptop on each. It's also right off Highway 1 so it's conveniently located whether you're going down south or headed up north; easy in and easy out. It's a nice small place that packs a big punch with their paninis and priced at a ridiculously low cost of just $6.50. (If this was in the City, they could easily double that price....but please don't!) The Turkey Pesto Havarti Panini is deliciously good and filling. It is protein-rich and carb-rich to satisfy your cravings, and helps you replenish after a grueling hike at McNee Ranch. You may also grab some to go to save for a snack or lunch, but it's best to eat it while it's hot and the cheese is oozing and melting like a lava flowing in the Pacific Ocean. Aside from the Pesto Panini, they also have Breakfast Panini, Ham Swiss Dijon Panini, Grilled Cheese Panini (with options of Bacon, Ham or Turkey) and Spicy Turkey Melt Panini. If these are not enough, you can order some Pastries, Belgian Waffle, English Muffin, Toasted Bagels and other Breakfast Sandwiches. For coffee and tea, there's Drip, Au Lait, Mocha, Americano, Cappuccino, Espresso, Latte, Breve, Chai, Chocolate and Lemonade. In search of some grub after a warm winter morning at the beach in Linda Mar we found this little gem. Of course i had to try their chocolate chip strawberry waffle....Yum!!!! My hubby ordered a breakfast sandwich on a bagel which was good. And then we shared a caramel apple milkshake, which didnt really have any apple flavor and was very thin for a milkshake. Shared a turkey pesto panini with my partner and it was great! It was served on focaccia bread (the best bread hands down take ur argument elsewhere i'm not having it) and was crispy but still soft! Ample amounts of cheese and turkey were included, pesto was a tad bit salty to my liking, but overall delicious. I also got a mango smoothie and was expecting something a bit more fresh? It mostly tasted like mango candy but anyway. I've been going here for a while and LOVE this spot for a little morning nosh and great strong coffee. They just relocated to the corner and have more space so indoor seating is now available. I usually get the breakfast sandwich which has a choice of english muffin or bagel... egg, cheese, breakfast meat... lots of options to customize your cravings! They also have a yummy chipotle sauce/mayo that is perfectly spicy and really adds the extra OOMPH to your nibblin'. I mostly love the COFFEE! Hot or iced, you have the option of light, medium or dark roast, and a variety of ways to have it made for you depending on how you like your coffee. I've been addicted to the iced coffee lately - I've never seen this before but they use COFFEE ICE CUBES... Brilliant! This way your iced coffee doesn't get watered down as much (if you're like me and take 2+ hours to drink it). The owner is very friendly and always there. She employs mostly local high school kids from what I can tell, and they are all super friendly and efficient - she has trained them well! I've never had a wrong order or had to wait long at all to get my food. The menu offers a whole host of food and drink options, as well as pastries, donuts, and other bits. Basically no matter what mood you're in, you'll find something to satisfy. I also love that she displays work by local artists - currently there are greetings cards by a local photographer, Daniele Derenzi (really top notch work) and super cute jewelry by Ju Ju Jewelry that is reasonably priced. I also love that she's conveniently located just off of Highway 1 (Sharp Park exit) and there's always a spot on the street to park. Also walkable to the beach! My significant other and I ordered two chipotle burritos, chai lattes, and a cinnamon roll. All were delicious and the service was exceptional. However, we both came down with a minor case of food poising about 4 hours later (did not eat anything else). We had gastrointestinal issues for about 12 hours which indicates S. aureus food poising (very common). I don't want this review to reflect badly on the business as I have prepared food for myself and made the same mistake. My hope is that they are more careful in preparing pre-made ingredients fresh and/or keeping them refrigerated. read more

We had the bagel sandwiches. He had meat and I had vegan. Our favorite coffee shop is still Tiny Town Cafe in Forestville. Perfect Pour also offers recycling and composting. Yay! It's also labeled very well, but some customers still need education on sorting. Those are probably the ones who don't do that at home or don't care. It is conveniently located off Highway 1. Upon walking in, I was happily greeted which uplifted my energy and indicated a good start to my day! I asked for someone recommendations since it was my first time in which I got the spicy turkey panini. So good! This sandwich was $9.50 but a pretty hefty portion in my opinion! A good hefty, haha. They have an array of different coffee drinks + specialty drinks. I got the Mexican mocha and it comes in a pretty large cup! I decided to dine in to study + read and was able to watch the foot traffic and interactions staff and customers had and the interactions just felt so genuine. I would willingly drive the extra distance to come here over a chain like Starbucks due to the welcoming atmosphere and staff. Plus it's near the beach. I came to visit this cute coffee shop, while my dog was getting groomed down the street. And I will say, I'll definitely return when in the area! :) Customer service - excellent. There was only one woman working and a couple ahead of myself. She was friendly, efficient & apologized numerous of time because of the wait. Which I did not mind at all. I ordered a pistachio latte which was delicious! It had the perfect balance of coffee and pistachio I also ordered a green eggs and ham sandwich! (So cute right??) my daughter and I loved it. 4 stars for food & drinks, 1 extra star for friendly baristas! Everytime I'm around Pacifica Pier, I always go to Chit Chat Cafe, but this has been on my radar for a while. Perfect Pour is a small cafe 3 blocks behind the beach/Sharp Park Golf Course, a few doors down from 7-Eleven. It's mostly a take-out shop with a few bar stools if you want to quickly enjoy your sandwich, bagel, or coffee drink. It's also great for dog-watching, as they come by often with their owners (and even put out a bowl of treats on the counter for them)! Only downside is that they close in the afternoon each day. I especially like their menu here because they have a bunch of different hot pressed sandwiches, in addition to pesto cream cheese bagels! My first time here, I got the Breakfast Panini (ham, bacon, egg, cheese) and a Chai Tea Latte. I especially enjoyed the Breakfast Panini because it was neatly pressed with the cheese holding everything together; very ideal for eating on-the-go without as much mess! Loved how they packed the meats in the sandwich, though it is on the sweeter side for a savory sandwich. The Chai Tea Latte was surprisingly good as well--I love my drink on the stronger side even though it's often a muted spice. Overall I would come back for coffee/sandwiches even if i park a bit out of the way from this part of the beach. Finally found a time to visit when Perfect Pour open. Some good changes since the last time I visited. They installed a fresh orange juice machine. Better artwork on the walls. A good attitude with the staff that I found working there today. The cappuccino was ok. Excellent froth but somewhat odd for the coffee part. Definitely not the worst I've ever had, but not the best either. Perhaps it's because I haven't had their style of cappuccino before . I would rated it about 3.5 or ,4 out of 5. The bagel with cream cheese was good. Next time I'll have an orange juice as well to test that out. Overall a good visit. Give Perfect Pour a try. read more

I love and support small local businesses. Let me explain my rating. I've gone here several times and the place is great; the people are nice...but customer service needs improvement. The times I've been there, more than half the time I don't get my order and I have to remind them. There doesn't seem to be an issue if you only order food or drinks. When you order food and drinks then their lies the issue. When placing my order, I'll wait for my coffee like everyone but then I don't get my food, particular the pastries. I have to ask/remind them I didn't get my food, and have to remind them again what I ordered. A few times while waiting, someone else comes in after me and orders. They get their food right away. I let this slide the first time. When this happens more than once and I almost don't get my pastry because they were about to sell it to someone else...that's a problem. It doesn't seem like the workers (young ones/teenagers) go through any type of formal training so the process is inconsistent. Everyone has their own process, way of doing things. This place would be amazing if everyone was consistent in their processes. I hope this reaches the owner to improve their business because I do like this place. read more

I was sad when I found out it closed then I got excited when I found it had opened and was renovated. The interior and new ambiance is inviting and refreshing, however, the quality of the food is evidently lacking. I got a turkey pesto panini: it was a smaller portion, greasier, and tasted different. Definitely not the same; so disappointing!! The price is even more disappointing for the quality of that panini. Before I would gladly pay the old price and maybe even more, because it was just that darn good, but I can't say the same now. Before, just half a panini would get me full and I loved keeping the other half for after class or share with a friend of mine, but this time I ate the whole panini. It's not as filling as before. They tell you they're the same, yes the name of the panini, not all the ingredients!! The new owner gets the old reviews that certainly don't match their changes :/ I'm upset by that because I love this place and their forever friendly staff. From reading other new reviews, I can say I appreciate the owner actually taking yelp comments as constructive criticism and better improving her business, that alone proves this place has so much potential!! With her amazing staff, I hope they can look into improving the paninis as I will forever crave my old Perfect Pour's panini. Never went since my last and I don't know if I ever plan to ever go again unless they bring back the old paninis. Update: tried the paninis again. Let me start by saying, I'm a coffee crackhead, and I am especially familiar with exceptional coffee. Also this rating is strictly for my drink & the price. So I tried this place based on a recommendation, plus the yelp reviews were so good. I went today and ordered their version of a caramel macchiato, with three shots. Either the three shots weren't put in or that is some of the weakest espresso I've ever had. But the topper is it cost $6.52, and I got a small. Hell for a triple shot caramel macchiato at SB & Peets, and Madhouse is only a little over $5. WTH??????? Sadly, I had to go to SB and get another shot. Great coffee and breakfast! Had a coconut coffee and english muffin breakfast sandwich - tasty! Thw mexican mocha is also great, but I cannot reccomend the panini reakfast unless you lime tons of bread and not the best quality of bread. I kept seeing all the food and drink photos on our local community page and had been wanting to come. They recently expanded their hours on Mondays and Tuesdays, so I had my chance. I was not disappointed. I had the grilled cheese panini and pistachio latte and my daughter had the Chipotle panini and the Chai Freeze.
