Didn't really get the full experience, due to them being out of onions of all things. So my Burger was bland also the beef taco's need work or just switch the recipe to streak tacos. My bf wanted to have some halal peri peri chicken so we drove for 1hr and got there. The food was really delicious and their staffs were very friendly too. Overall the was worth it for our 1hr drive. My personal favorite was the rocher ferrero milk shake. I'm a fan. Loved it! read more

This is a decent little place, with a smaller menu but decent variety or chicken and fast food type items. Great for a casual quick dinner. I really enjoyed the flavor of the Lemon Herb marinade. My chicken was moist and flavorful. My husband got the Mango Lime marinade but his chicken seemed to be a bit more dry. When I came here, it was only the second day of being opened. To me, the food was eh, it could've been better. The problem was we got the wrong stuff. We ordered tenders, but got mild wings. The mild wasn't mild for me, it was hot. I have a sensitive stomach so after reaching just one my stomached hurts the rest of the night. Another thing that we ordered was the lamb gyro pita. The size of it was small. The price is okay for the portion you received. What they have to change is the soda cups! The soda cups are made of a papery material. Saw this new spot open up in Alexandria and decided to give it a try for lunch. Overall experience was pretty average. They have a pretty decent sized menu with chicken and shawarma options. I didn't want to splurge too much so I ordered a chicken quarter combo which came with fries and a drink. I went with the hot flavor which is the second from the top in terms of spice level. It ended up being not very spicy at all. I asked to try the extra hot flavor but was unable to because the sauces are cooking sauces and not for dipping. They had a a "hot chili sauce" available for dipping but it was more sweet than spicy. I think the management still has some kinks to figure out. For example, I decided to sit outside and didn't realize I had to come back in to pick up the food so the food sat under the heater for awhile. When I ordered my chicken, I was expecting to choose between dark meat and white meat but that wasn't an option. As you can see in my pictures, I got white meat which is not a problem. The problem with the chicken was the portion size. I thought I only got one piece when I first saw the food and realized it was just really small compared to other chicken places at Nando's or Peruvian Chicken. The highlight of this place for me was the garlic sauce. It went well as a dipping sauce for the chicken and fries. This might have been a one off ehhh experience so I'll probably be back again to give this place another try. read more

They then put the pieces on a grill to reheat it before boxing it up. El Pollo Rico in Arlington sells a real whole chicken with 2 sides for a fair price of $16.50. They have a line out the door, which moves, and you watch your chicken come off 1 of 2 charcoal fired Rotisseries that are going nonstop. Fresh and juicy. If you don't want to drive to Arlington, walk a few hundred feet and get a Wegmans $6.99 Rotisserie Chicken, and season it with Nandos Peri Peri Sauce sold at Costco. Wegman's Chicken is not as old and dried as Peri-Peri, and you can get 3 Whole Juicy Chickens for less than 1 dry one at Peri-Peri read more

I first visited the restaurant three weeks ago, then I came back last week with a coworker. I really enjoyed the chicken wrap. My only complaint is that the portions are WAY TOO LARGE. In all honesty, for the price, you can't ask for a better peri peri place. The chicken is flame grilled to perfection every time and the sauces they have easily rival Nandos. I've had lunch here twice. It's good, but the food is always spicier than I like. First time, I tried the mild. It was spicy for me. The second time I thought I would be safe with the mango flavor, but it still had some heat. I wish they had an option for those that don't like heat. They were pretty busy so he told us it'll be 15 minute wait but the food came out within 5 minutes. The customer service was amazing! They even gave us complimentary ice cream sundae. We ordered classic cheese gourmet burgers with hot sauce, fries and onion rings, and Mango-lime wings. The burgers were juicy and cooked just right, the fries and onion rings were nice and crispy, and the wings had just the right amount of sauce. One of my most favorite things was the garlic sauce!!!!
