Your competitive edge for a slightly inferior product should be pricing. But store wide you're sky high suddenly. If I didn't know better, I'd think that AJ's is owned by Raley's, which we shopped at for 30+ years. A lot of upscale, well-dressed people in the store... very high-end in nature and curb appeal. My experience with other pharmacies does not compare with Frys Food and Drug Pharmacy. The East McDowell location, for this reviewer since the day it opened for business has been five stars ++ in all aspects. Unlike most growing businesses the service is even better than originally. They do a lot of business and things take time. Every person I have ever come in contact with was friendly, exceptionally helpful, zero mistakes, and given the same working environment I don't feel anyone could be faster. I will offer a small fraction of my experience. A person normally did not work at McDowell suggested a prescription cost more than OTC medication. Exactly the same. Much lower price. He took me to the supermarket shelf. Vaccinations there have my with all that are recommended. Each shot was given by staff who knew how as well as regular Pharmacy functions. If there is a lower available price they offer it. In all cases it was not from my saying anything. Just their taking the initiative.
