Came here on a whim on the way to King Richard's Faire and was so surprised by the quantity and quality of the food. Come hungry because their dishes are massive! Not sure what happened here but the quality has gone wayyyy done. Our omelettes were flat and burnt. The hash browns were blackened and the beans came out ice cold. Our server was wonderful snd noticed how bad the potatoes were and actually brought out another serving...completely charred and worse than the first. I hope this is temporary for Percy's but at $40 for breakfast for 2 we won't be back. read more

Three years ago I gave this place a scathing review due to one of the worst breakfast my wife and I ever had with bad service to boot. I gave it another try and I'm astonished that this time was actually worse. Fool me twice... shame on me. We waited a while to be seated (nearly empty restaurant) and not one but three servers came by to tell us the hostess will be around shortly. When she finally arrived, a doordash delivery man walked in and became the priority over us. The place was riddled with flies. My breakfast order was both wrong and an inedible soupy plate of slop and undercooked eggs. And our waitress walked by our table six times before asking how everything was. I possibly could have ordered something else (thank god I didn't) but by the time she asked, the flies had all procreated and it was time for me to leave and never come back. Seriously. My fault entirely for giving them another chance. Worst. Restaurant. In. Massachusetts. Please don't send me another private message trying to blame it on an "off day." This place should be shut down. read more

The Kingston location new build is nice after the fire. Their selection is absolutely huge. The quality is good, but I think they could be amazing if they slimed down the menu and specialized. The staff is friendly and I would recommend Persey's for a good breakfast at a good price. read more

Have gone to percys a few times over the last few years. Last week my wife and i went for breakfast. I could not believe the filth in this place. There is dirt and grime under every corner. At the front counter there was all sorts of dirt that you could see from just standing there. I guess the people who clean do not take pride in their work. We've been going to Perceys for many years now. A couple of our kids work there through their high school years as well. My favorite is the hash on the dash with grilled with bacon which ERICA the best server at Persy's tends to know all our favorite drinks and my go to breakfast even if we haven't been in for 6 months. She's attentive ,accurate and friendly without being pushy and overdoing it. She makes our breakfast experiences pleasant. We leave full and satisfied! Thank you Erica ! read more

Even if that's true it don't excuse 4 waitresses petting a dog at the bread counter when there was no service dog vest on the dog and and service dog owners usually specifically ask you not to touch the dog but again another excuse for poor judgement . We were up this way overnight and didn't want the free hotel breakfast. What a great little place for breakfast! Everyone on the staff was so friendly and welcoming. I went here for lunch today, which I guess was my first mistake since they're basically a breakfast place. We got there at 1 in the afternoon and the breakfast crowd was still in high gear. We were seated right away, and then promptly waited for the one waitress on duty for almost 20 minutes. She ended up being fun and sang all of our orders to us (which usually gets a huge tip from me) but everything went down hill after that. They ran out of clam chowder (I had been craving it all day) and my Turkey Bacon BLT was just not what I expected. The bread was stale and the sandwich as a whole was completely lackluster. I got marinated mushrooms on the side, and they tasted like they were marinated in something quite unpleasant. I began wondering if my meal was the only one out of the three of us that wasn't up to par, but I tried the hash browns from one plate and a turkey wrap from another, and was also disappointed. I would go back here to try to breakfast, but I will never go again for lunch. read more

One of my favorite breakfast places. Enjoyed another great breakfast this morning. I love corn-beef hash (even from a can) but Persy's makes their own! Portions and quality are huge here. Bring your appetite. Service is prompt and the place shines - very clean! There are multiple locations on the south shore including the cape. I love the on in Kingston with the private booths. The menu says largest in New England - I would believe it even thought I get the same thing every time I still look it over. Definitely worth the drive if you live outside the area. read more

My Grandparents used to live on the Plymouth/Kingston line, so we would usually try to meet them there if we were in the mood for some breakfast food. I like this Persy's a little better than the one Downtown (Plymouth) because they have their own private parking lot. The hours are breakfast/lunch hours, which is good since I like an early breakfast. Very large menu. Pancakes, waffles, omelets, and eggs done any way you can think. They are one of those breakfast places that has baked beans with their entrees. I like and dislike this. Sometimes I'm just not in the mood (and would rather have more homefries!) This is much better than Cracker Barrel having grits! Reasonably priced food. What I don't understand is their size of glasses. A large milk is basically a small. I could drink 4 of those in one sitting. Give me a REAL milk glass. I'm an adult, I think I can drink an entire glass of milk. One of the better breakfast chains in South Eastern MA. read more

This was one of our first meals when we got back to the states from being overseas for 3 years with the military. Boy was I pleased! I love the child friendly atmosphere. I had a turkey sandwich and asked them to add avocado(which was fresh and delicious!) I love that they make their own bread. My aunt ordered a meat loaf meal which was equally delicious. We enjoy the breakfast all day concept, so if you are just feeling like eating breakfast for lunch, you can do that too! We will certainly be back soon! Love it! read more

Percy's is a New England tradition, claiming and I believe it, new England's largest breakfast menu. It is a family run business and they have a number of south shore locations. A large omlette selection including one with stuffing and turkey and the works and really great pancakes. I also highly recommend the Benedicts here. Every plate used to automatically come with Boston baked beans and now it's one of your selected sides, but all in all, great breakfasts. read more

My wife and I are all about supporting small businesses, especially when it comes to food. Although breakfast is the easiest meal of the day, most often it's hardest to find a decent one. Persy's Place Kingston was described as a local gem on google. My wife decided to order breakfast since they offered curbside pickup. I called upon arrival and was told that Curbside was not an option, even though the online order form gave it as one. Once inside I took a seat while I waited and struck up a conversation with 2 other patrons who were waiting to be seated. The host returned, said to the two women "Party of 2?" She then turned to me and said "Door Dash I'll be right with you." I have a few issues. Firstly, a proper greeting would have been hi, how may I help you, welcome to Persy's Place or a million other ways to greet a customer. Secondly, Besides the fact that I'm a 6'2 black man, I'm unclear how she gathered that I was a Door Dash driver. Because I'm a black man, I must be a delivery driver. How could I be just another patron? I guess it's not possible for me to be a local, picking up breakfast for his wife and kids from a local business. The host didn't ask the same question of the other patrons who were conversing with me, who just so happened to be Caucasian. I would say I wonder why, but it's more than clear. Thirdly, as if the encounter wasn't enough, the food left much to be desired. Unfortunately this is yet another instance of just how deeply racially biased thinking really is. read more

Got the three eggs, bacon, sausage, baked beans, and 2 huge pancakes, all for $10.99. I took more than half home to enjoy as my lunch. I will never stop and eat here again. If I could I would leave a negative 4 star review. This place was super busy due to Father's Day which was 100 percent understood. My husband and I walked in to be put on a 40 min wait which was fine. It got to one hour and 20 mins so we went to check on our position only to be told that they tried which we received no call. This is all completely fine until the following point my husband worked in a kitchen so we understand but to proceed to tell us I'm sorry we messed up so now you have to wait longer is absolutely absurd and the party behind knew the girl at the counter and said well it's Father's Day which my husband is a father but to be told we have to wait for their mess up is ridiculous. read more

I like this place a lot for breakfast. They are very busy on the weekends but the wait usually isn't too long, as they are very good at getting people in and out. The food is good with tons of choices. I usually get blueberry pancakes with a side of sausages. Yum! The coffee isn't great, but is usually decent, which is more than I can say for a lot of breakfast places. They're accommodating to young kids, with children's menus, kid cups, and crayons.. older kids (and adults) will like the brain-teasers and trivia cards on the tables! The decor is country but it's very CLEAN, tasteful country.. You know how some places just go over the top and miss the mark; it ends up looking like someone threw heaps of dusty old garbage everywhere. This place succeeds in looking neat, cheerful, and cozy. The service is always great. Every time we've been here, the servers have been friendly and fast. On the downside, the prices do seem a bit high for breakfast. My husband, 3 year old son and I went yesterday and the bill came to $47 (before tip). Portions of some things (pancakes) are HUGE, but meat sides (sausage/bacon) are pretty skimpy. I know there are other breakfast places where we could eat for about half the amount, but Persy's is close-by, and we really do enjoy it every time we go. Also, they give you a coupon for a (tiny) loaf of cornbread on your next visit... that's worth something. ;-) One other thing worth mentioning is that parking can be tough on the weekends. People often park across the street at what used to be La Paloma, but the street is very busy so if you do this, BE CAREFUL.
