I recently ate here with a group of women - we all ordered from different sections of the menu and were all very pleased with our selections. The wait staff was professional and courteous and the views from the roof were incredible! We went at sunset and were blown away by our experience (not literally - there was a nice breeze but nothing chaotic). Several women ordered cocktails throughout the evening and I had a magnificent mocktail. The friends who ordered dessert loved it. I was too full to have a bite from my delicious fish of the day and the vegetable sides and appetizers we shared. Even the filet was cooked to perfection. I will be returning when I'm in the area and I was so impressed with how efficiently they managed our large group. Oh, Pescado. I came expecting a view that was going to cost me a pretty penny, but I left with so much more. The view was spectacular. We had a 4:30PM reservation so we could catch the sunset at around 4:50PM and made sure we waited for a table on the edge of the patio even though we had reservations for inside. I highly suggest you do whatever you have to do to recreate our moment pictured. We went simple with drinks, I did a Makers Mark old fashioned who'll I h was everything I'd hoped for, and my wife had the Peruvian lemonade cocktail which was sweet and she truly enjoyed. My wife and I started off with a Squash soup that was honestly top 2 in my opinion. Creamy, rich, and decadent. I highly suggest sharing this soup as it doesn't look like much but it is A LOT. Then the entrees; two buttery beef short ribs with a fantastic glaze, silky whipped potatoes, and mushrooms that apparently made me a mushroom fan. I HIGHLY recommend this plate, nothing failed to impress. And I'm a die hard foodie, I'd like to think I know what I'm talking about. Please try this experience, you will not regret it. read more

This review is actually for the Courtyard at Pescado. It's no reservations required with some comfy outdoor (covered) seating. We were seated right away on a Friday at 6:40 pm. My group of 5 ladies had a great experience! Sky (not sure of the spelling) served us and was very knowledgeable of the cocktails offered. Through the recommendations we ended up choosing the Lady in Pink and Red Skies. They were even able to offer a mocktail for our DD that she really enjoyed. I had the Red Skies and it was delicious. We also ordered a cheeseboard which had 5 different cheeses, some nuts and fruit, a few different meats, crackers, and a sauce. Sky was able to name and describe everything on the board. Overall our visit was lovely and perfect for before our dinner reservation. We even had leftovers from the cheeseboard to enjoy the next day. read more

Came here during a bachelorette party and had a wonderful breakfast! The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous and has an amazing view from their rooftop bar. We had a couple of dietary restrictions in our group and our waiter went above and beyond to help accommodate us. The food was absolutely delicious. We shared some ceviche and I ordered the bagel and lox. Presentation was absolutely beautiful for all the dishes we ordered. Their ceviche was very fresh, nice acidity and great little spicy kick from the chilies on the plate. The bagel and lox came out looking like a small peice of art. We had high hopes for this! We were a table Of 11 and we made a reservation as SOON as they became available and we arrived on time. The server started off sweet and she hit us with only one check which was annoying but fine. It felt since she knew she was getting her 18% tip she didn't have to come back to our table. Rain or shine, the view here is worth it! Things you should know: I. PARKING There is free street parking along N Barrett Square. If there are no spaces available when you arrive, then there's 3 hour parking on New Providence Lane. II. SERVICE Our server was attentive, great at refilling our glasses and gave recommendations based off of experience. We really enjoyed being under his care. The hostess was also noteworthy. We didn't have a reservation but she still put effort to see if there was a table available for us. Honestly, she could have just turned us away since it was a busy Friday night. Glad she didn't! III. QUALITY Yes, the food is pricey but the dishes are palatably well paired, thought out, and presented appealingly. You will not have any regrets because the whole experience (view and flavor) is worth it. We visited on a rainy day and seeing Rosemary Beach from above was still worth it! IV. We have been wanting to try Pescado for some time now. They require reservations if you don't want to wait. There's seating downstairs in the courtyard but the real fun atmosphere is upstairs! You have the best view of the ocean and can enjoy the sunset too. We arrived at 4PM and sat upstairs at the bar where we had the perfect view of the ocean and sunset. Our bartender Nick was very nice and I really enjoyed their four red roses cocktail (I forget the name). I also ordered a glass of cab wine from their menu, which was pretty good too. We ordered their Brussel sprouts, spicy grilled shrimp, stir fry noodles, lamp chops, and potatoes. I loved everything besides the mashed potatoes (I thought they would be actual potatoes) and the grilled spicy shrimps were nothing special. I did love the lamp chops and noodles. The drinks were great and I like that they have a full mocktail menu as well (which I partook of this day because it was so hot outside). The presentation of the food was good I had the fish sandwich which was average (not much flavor on the fish) and the French toast was excellent! The server was good and gave good drink recommendations - she just wasn't very attentive after we received our food. The restaurant is clean chic and bright so even not sitting on the rooftop terrace is a treat. I have no regrets going with Pescado, to start the view is amazing, we had reservations for a group of 13, we went on a Friday morning so they were able to accommodate a big group! We got sat at the tables on the back wall by the bar & the view was amazing, the bar opened up to the patio so it felt like we were on a covered patio! Our waitress was awesome with the suggestions and keeping our mimosas full! I got the fried green tomatoes and it was amazing! The crab on top was fresh & the dish was unique and different! Absolutely horrible service from Pescado this evening. We are locals and have dined in before but tonight was the last straw. We put our name in and we're not given a time frame or a number on the waitlist. We checked in about an hour into our wait and were given no information on how long the wait would continue to be. We finally got a text nearly two hours later and were given 10 minutes to get back to the restaurant. We arrived 11 minutes later and were told "I looked high and low for you" and "the text said 10 minutes and it has been 11 minutes". Our table was given up as we watched the hostess send a text to others to take our table. I asked if there was anything that could be done and was less-than-regretfully told no and that we could be added back to the bottom of the waitlist. Absolutely absurd. We will not be returning and we will no longer be recommending to others in the area. read more

I'm giving it two stars for the view. First, we had the cheese board. We got two hunks of blue cheese which we personally are not fans of. We asked if she could replace it and she told us one was blue cheese and the other is a goat cheese blend. She told us even though we did not touch the plate at all since the plate "hit the counter" the kitchen could not accommodate our request. We would have to buy a side of cheese separately. So that's fine we understand that, just wish we would have known this. Food is expensive but that's anywhere in rosemary beach. The small plates are very small. They weren't bad but we weren't huge fans. I think the shrimp could have been cooked more and the scallops were lacking flavor. Our server didn't seem to care about us we had to flag her down for more water, wine, etc. She never asked how we enjoyed our meal. She didn't seem interested in us at all. To be fair, she seemed busy. So overall, it could have been an off night for Pescado but we personally won't be back. read more
