Having replaced the front lawn and having horrible service from the aforementioned landscaping contractor, I was now in need of a new contractor who could replace my backyard lawn and provide regular maintenance services. Ironically on the same day that I finally got so fed up with the previous contractor and I decided I no longer wanted anymore dealings with him, someone from Ayala's Landscaping had taped their business card to my front door. I called up Jorge Ayala that same day and being that it was a Sunday, was pleasantly surprised when he said he would be able to come down the same day to give a free estimate. He arrived a couple of hours later with his wife Anne and his little boy in tow. Gave me a pretty good price on replacing my entire backyard and all the broken sprinkler heads in the back, as well as a great deal ($80/month) for regular maintenance of both the front and back lawns. As well as trimming of my trees and bushes. Jorge does a great job and is very detailed in his work. He noticed that the tree and bushes to the side of my house were getting slightly overgrown and asked if it was ok if he trimmed them so they wouldn't grow out too far and hit the windows. Also even re-affixed an outdoor thermometer in my backyard which had fallen down the previous year and I had completely forgotten about! Jorge comes out once a week to perform maintenance work which is MUCH better than I can say about most other landscaping contractors whom only come out about 2 times a month (sometimes not even that!). And so far he seems to also be very reliable. Unlike the horror I've experienced with my previous contractor and that I've heard about other contractors whom show up once a month or less for maintenance work and hope the owners never notice. If you guys need someone to mow your lawn, trim your trees/bushes, or any other projects you have around the house...Jorge is your man! Give him a call...you won't be disappointed!

I never write reviews, but David did such a great job that I felt compelled to write one. First, David replaced three very old, outdated valves. What I appreciated most was that he took the time to explain what he was doing and how the valves and solenoids work together with the controller as a system. As someone who knows very little about sprinkler systems, I really appreciated the clear explanation. Second, he installed four new sprinklers, one of which was a challenge because of the concrete surrounding the PVC piping. In addition, he replaced eight heads, six risers, and capped one sprinkler. He adjusted every single head across four stations and zones, walked me through each zone, made careful micro-adjustments, and explained how everything worked. Lastly, he left my backyard spotless and looking as good as new. I would not hesitate to work with Mark and David at First Class Irrigation again. Speaking of which, I am thinking of having them convert my sprinkler system into a low-maintenance drip irrigation system with a Rachio controller in the near future. Highly recommended!

He was courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Ian is the owner of the company. From my experience with him in this short while , I've learned he is a family man with astounding integrity. Second, I did not contact this company Cal-View Property Inspections casually or without cause. I reached out because there were serious ongoing concerns in my home, involving exposed walls, abnormal air quality, and conditions that affected my family's health and safety. At the time, children were living in the home, and the wall area had remained exposed for an extended period. The inspection was not the cause of the problem. It was conducted because I needed answers about conditions that already existed inside the unit. The inspection helped confirm that mold concerns were present in the air and on surfaces within the home, including in my daughter's bedroom. After the inspection, I pursued code enforcement. That process resulted in multiple code violations being identified, and repairs were required. My family was displaced as a result of the condition of the home, not because of anything this company created. The statements suggesting improper motive or lack of professionalism do not reflect my experience. I hired this company because I needed an independent assessment, and from my experience they were professional, responsive, and helpful during an extremely stressful situation. This company did not create the conditions in my home. They documented them. I am grateful I contacted them.

My review of Pest Control Center is based on their recent treatment of my house in Fair Oaks, CA for subterranean termites(a requested preventative treatment in my case due to a prior infestation 13 years earlier). I obtained three quotes before deciding on PCC. These quotes are for applying Termidor HE(fipronil) around and under my house(2500 sq feet) and around my detached garage. Clarke quoted me $3280, Pro Active quoted me $4164 and PCC quoted $2800. Yes, I did select this least expensive but for good reason. I felt that Steve who is the owner of the company and came out to my house to give me the quote, was the best choice based on how thorough he was regarding the details of the treatment his company would provide. Paul was the technician who provided the treatment at my house and he was very nice and easy to work with. I had a couple of minor issues(needed a few drill holes patched and requested a few extra drill holes) after the treatment and Steve had Paul come back out and take care of my issues promptly and to my satisfaction. PCC was recommended to me by my neighbor who uses them for ongoing pest control services and he is also very happy with PCC. One other company you may want to get a quote from is Earthwise Pest Management. My other neighbor used them for the same type of termite service I had and he also seemed happy with their service but they charge $85 for an inspection which they require before they will treat for termites. I decided to skip getting their bid after meeting with Steve and receiving his bid. If you live in Fair Oaks and have subterranean termite issues, I highly recommend PCC. John read more

I have used this company twice with excellent results. The first time involved what I thought was going to be a serious termite problem and I expected the worst, including a major expense. Chris from the Placerville office made a very thorough inspection, was professional and competent and advised that the issue was simply flying ants and that he could fix it for $65. What a pleasant surprise. The second experience involved a similar but less intensive problem. I now expected flying ants based on the past. Again Chris from the Placerville office arrived and advised that this time I did have termites and that he was not licensed to treat the problem. He arranged for Steve from their Sacramento office to handle. Steve arrived on time, was personable, and patient. Made a complete exam of the property including the crawl space and eventually found the source of the termites. He advised that my issue was very minor and advised how I could treat it myself using but killer available from Home Depot. The fee was only $50 for the inspection and advice. I found this company on both occasions to be totally competent and honest. They could have told me anything and charged anything but did the right thing. Completely recommend!!!! read more

We are very fortunate to have Pest Control Center as our go to for pest problems. Living near a feed store brings in little creatures that people really don't want for a house guest. We heard scratching noses in our attic and without delay our regular tech, Dylan, came out and handled the problem ASAP! Now let me tell you about this Highly Qualified Pest Wisperer... Dylan is very polite and a real professional. He has been taking care of our property for a couple years now and always responds quickly if we see any problems crop up. Dylan is knowledgeable! He even showed me what a black widow spider web looks like and how to maintain the area so they may want to find shelter some place else. He knows different kinds of bugs and whether they are a single pest who found their way in by mistake or something more sinister. Pest Control Center seems to have the best in the business. I changed to Pest Control Center a few years ago when I had a rat problem in my attic and my prior pest service wasn't willing to provide the service I wanted to resolve the problem. Not only did the technician come out repeatedly to make certain the rats were all caught and gone, but they provided far better regular bi-monthly pest service than my prior provider. I have rarely had to call for a non-planned service because they do a great job, but I have had random ant and other issues that needed an extra service and they came out either same day or next day - very impressive! My regular technician Wesley is reliable, friendly, and does a great job taking care of my house for my family. I highly recommend them. read more

He is polite professional, knowledgeable, hard-working and funny(can't get a better combo than that, right?). I recently ordered a refinance inspection from Pest Control Center because a friend had recomended them and said she was very happy with the service she received. My experience was also exceptional. The inspector, Connor, was very professional and certainly was very knowledgable about what he does. The entire appointment, this young man was very helpful, timely and courteous. Wesley has been our service representative for over 10 years and he is always extremely knowledgeable as well as professional and courteous. We have had issues with rodents as well as other pests and he always takes care of our problems. Several times I have called the company and asked if I could leave a message for Wesley and they always either try to contact him immediately or sometimes I have had to leave a message because he was unavailable to take my call. He did an amazingly thorough inspection, and we were grateful that he found no evidence of any pest infestation in our attic! In addition, he checked all around our home for any possible entry points for rodents and found a few places that we might address. Later the same day, a roof repair company came by and lifted tiles all along the rear perimeter of the house and we found multiple areas where squirrels have been gnawing on the plywood below the concrete tiles and had gained access to small areas under the roof, including one dead squirrel in one of these areas. Fortunately, there was no evidence they had invaded into the attic itself, verifying what Patrick discovered from his inspection. All these areas were repaired, and we are now assured no entry points currently exist. All in all, Patrick was always kind, considerate, neat and thorough. We could not have been happier with the work he performed, or for the responsiveness on the part of Golden Hills Pest Control to have a technician come out on very short notice. During the first appointment, the gentleman was incredibly polite considerate and gave me lots of great tips to help keep rodents away from my house and interior--simple things like putting the dog's food away at night (we free feed the dogs), advising me on where to place bait and how to conceal it from pets and children, etc. During the second visit, two employees came to the house to cover any and all holes they could find where rodents could access the house or foundation. Their work is very clean, professional, and mostly unnoticeable--they did their level best to make it work AND look pleasant. They didn't leave ANY repair or construction garbage behind that could poke little feet or look ugly, and they were respectful of my time and family--including the furry members. I'm very impressed with the quality of Dan's work. He took his time and never rushed through the job, making sure everything was done thoroughly. He even took the time to dust off my front porch light, which was covered in cobwebs--something I wasn't expect but really appreciated. For the initial service, Dan removed all the cobwebs around my house and fence, sprayed around the house, grass, fence, and eaves, and treated a wasp nest. The entire service took about an hour, and he was thorough from start to finish. Dan was professional, friendly, and easy to work with. I had high hopes for Green Day Pest Control after a great first experience, but service and…read morecommunication have gone downhill since. I clearly requested full interior/exterior spraying in advance, only to be told on the day of that it had to be scheduled separately. I also never received the promised appointment confirmation and was surprised to learn -- last minute -- that there's a 2-hour window (which was never mentioned before). Worst of all, when I tried to raise my concerns, they were more argumentative than helpful. I wouldn't recommend them based on how poorly they handled the situation. I have all the documentation to back this up. Last thing I would like to mention is that they sprayed the pesticide on the cabinets in which I found out later as it dried up. Also my base boards are stained as well. Beware that in their contract they stated that they are not responsible for damage and that you agree to it. Ridiculous company that needs staff to be trained on how to resolve and do dispute resolution, rather than having an argumentative voice and additionally assuming things rather than checking in with the customer to make sure there is an understanding. AT ALL COSTS DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY.
