For the price it was honestly not worth to get my two cats shaven there. It was way too expensive for the services we were given. They gave us a certain estimate but in the end the price almost doubled. They didn't even shave off the legs and only did the body. Again the shave a was good overall but not what we expected having that we paid for everything to be off (except the head obviously). They also trimmed both my cats nails WAYYYYYY too short that their nails are red which they shouldn't be. As professional groomers i expected them to know how to cut nails since i do better job at home. They also said our cats were flea free after the bath and shave BUT we come home to fleas still on them, having to give them another flea bath at home. We will most definitely NEVER bring them here again. read more

Very happy with the grooming my big furry baby Charlie received at Pet Haven Grooming! He's a 3yr old Golden Doodle and his hair was getting out of hand & with this horrible heat, he was getting very frustrated so i decided to cut his hair myself....... Big mistake, lol I found this place thru Yelp and very happy i did. Was glad they were able to groom Charlie on a last minute appointment request. He was very comfortable going in and extremely happy as he left. His hair and overall appearance was exceptionally fantastic! Prices are a bit high compare to other places i've been, but the grooming services and outcome exceeded my expectations. Met the owner and she was very lovely and you can instantly tell she's a pet lover. Charlie is an extremely nervous little guy and he couldn't stop giving her kisses! The actual groomers were a husband and wife team that i was told were very patient and loving with my boy. He was very happy with them as well. Today was my first time taking my doggo to a groomer since the beginning of the pandemy. It's so close to home since we move to the area, so I called to see if they had availability. It was so easy to make an appt and the price was reasonable. I dropped off my very nervous pup (he doesn't like new places) and my heart broke a little (when you're a work from home dog parent, the separation anxiety becomes real ). When I got a call to get him picked up, I was impressed by how fast they finished. I've previously had to wait hours at other groomers. I was more impressed by my dogs attitude: he was not the nervous doggy I dropped off! He was patient, looked and smelled amazing, and tail wagging! I think he enjoyed the staff and the grooming experience, he loves the after feeling of being clean. His coat feels wonderful and the deshedding shampoo and brushing was exactly what he needed. My little Spike needed an urgent visit to the groomers, so I called Pet Haven and they were able to get him in the same day! Spike is a little Yorkie and has had some unpleasant experiences with this other groomer my grandpa used to take him to, so I was praying he'd enjoy having a different groomer this time around. Right when we arrived, we felt so welcomed and comforted by the staff! When I picked spike up, he seemed happy for once leaving the groomers! Not to mention he had the best cut he's ever had and now looks adorableeee! While it was a bit more pricy than the old groomer we went to, you get what you pay for and I can confidently say Spike got quality service at Pet Haven. On Sunday August 25th, I noticed my Corgi's armpits were wet, red, smelly and had some yellow goo. I spoke with the Pet ER and they said he probably had hot spots and suggested I give him a bath. I didn't want to bathe him at home because I don't have the best tools to dry him so I seeked profesional help. I called Pet Haven in a panic and Annie answered. She was so nice and helped me calm down. I explained to her what was happening and she went above and beyond to help get some answers. She gave me her personal number so I could send her pics of my pup and said she would consult with her groomers. A few minutes later, she called me back and her groomers best guess was that yes they were hot spots but they recommended that we didn't bathe him that same day since it was so fresh. I made an appointment for the next day as soon as they opened. Annie did tell me that if it got worse, that I should take him to Urgent Care. At that time, Urgent care was not open so I waited until noon. I ended up taking him to Urgent Care. Later on that same day, Annie texted me to confirm his appointment. I told her that I took him to Urgent Care but to keep the appointment as tentative until I heard what the doc had to say. She was so caring and had so many kind and reassuring words. She was genuinely concerned for our pup and we really appreciated that. We eneded up having to cancel since he wasn't able to get wet for 2 weeks. I would be making an appointment in the future. Fast forward to yesterday, I called and made an appointment which Abby helped book. I asked if we could bring the shampoo prescribed by the doctor and she said yes. Today I took our pup in as soon as they opened. William was the one that helped me out and because we were new, I had to fill out a card with my and my pups info. My pup felt so comfortable being there and he just left without saying good bye. William was very polite and had a great attitude. They told me it was going to take about 2 hours which was OK. I get the call that he was almost ready and that he could be picked up. I let them know I was in a meeting and would come after. Since he was there for a bit, Abby was able to capture a funny picture while he waited for me. She texted it to me later in the day and it made me laugh. You can tell he was well taken care of. I get there and I'm ready to pay. To my surprise, it was a bit more expensive than what I was expecting. I didn't mention it since I wanted to support and show my appreciation to the team for their great customer service and dedication to their craft. I will say that his cut in general looks great, but I wasn't enthused about the shaping of his bum. It wasn't as shaped as we wanted and it looked a bit scraggly. All in all, I appreciate Pet Haven Grooming. read more

I reached out to Pet Haven and Annie answered my call. She was very helpful and was able to answer all of my questions. She thoughtfully listened to my concerns as well. I have a four month old teacup Yorkie named peach. Peach was just overcoming a double ear infection and at the cusp of completing all recommended vaccines. Peach's hair was uncomfortably overgrown and I wanted to make sure I was making the right move by getting her groomed. Annie accommodated a same day appointment and upon our arrival she was kind enough to reiterate all concerns I had previously expressed and she made special requests to make sure my pet and I were comfortable during the process. It was all fairly simple, but Annie went the extra mile to make sure that our concerns were heard. Maggie did the grooming and she did a wonderful job. I decided to give it a chance one more time this year (because I live close by) and OH WOW!! This time is totally different experience! DO NOT GET YOUR DOG GROOMED HERE, they are crooks! The girl Carly or whatever her name is has been grooming my dog for the past year. The starting price was $75 the first few times, then last time I went in august she said it was $110 now that's he's adult. Fine. Now when I just got him groomed today she billed me $150 and said the prices have increased again!! She is a CROOK. They didn't even do a good job grooming my dog I will NEVER come back here again and I'm disputing the charge with my credit card company. read more

First time coming here! Boy am I glad I did. The workers were all so super friendly. I walked in and was greeted right away & the groomer spoke with me & got detail info on what I was wanting. She was the sweetest (can't remember her name or else I'd write it). And thennnn the sweetest gesture was they were giving a rose for Mother's Day for all the dog mamas! That was so cute. This place has terrible customer service; although the grooming itself is alright, the ridiculous increase in pricing is not worth the quality of service. I have two dogs, and i've been taking them here for the past two years. I took them once every three weeks. The service was alright the first couple of times, but the problems started when they started increasing the prices significantly almost every visit without any explanation. At first, I did not question it-mainly out of respect-and thought it was not going to be a monthly thing, but it got to a point it was just getting insane. I felt like I was being taken advantage of. A price increase would have been understandable if they had a reason. Whenever I asked about it, they couldn't even explain why they were charging so much. The last time I brought my dogs here, I called and spoke to Becky to make sure they would not increase the price on us this time, and she said it will be $97 for a hair cut and wash. I was shocked when she said that, and I though they had decreased the price, because $97 is significantly less than what I would pay the other times I would take them. This shows that Pet Haven Grooming does not have a set price or any remote idea of what the price should be. It seems like they just charge you whatever they feel like charging you. When I picked my dogs up, though, I ended up paying $374, which is ridiculous, considering the price was around a total of $200 the first time I took them here. Also, the price is supposed to be based on the size of the dog, but they were charging us the same for each dog, even though one of my dogs is half the size of the other one, and weighs 20 pounds less. Upon asking Becky about the price, and about how she originally said the price would be $97, she just said she was sorry, and she had given me a wrong price by mistake. She also told me she would speak to the groomer and ask why the pricing was so high, and that she would get back to me for clarification, which never happened. I called multiple places, and all prices are around $120 for the service we require. There is no reason Pet Haven Grooming should charge so much more because there is nothing that sets them apart from these other places. The grooming quality is adequate at best, and the customer service is horrible. I found another place, they do an incredible job, and they also have very affordable prices. The prices there ended up being $110 for my big dog, and $90 for my smaller dog. The total ended up being $200. That is $174 cheaper than what Pet Haven Grooming charges. Additionally, their grooming is much better. Overall, I would not recommend going to Pet Haven Grooming at all. The terrible service and mediocre grooming is not worth the extra headache or money. read more

After reading all of the overwhelmingly positive reviews for this place I decided to give it a try. My two pups have been going with the same groomer since they were babies, she recently went on maternity leave so I had to find a second option. This had me nervous because I wasn't sure what the outcome would be and If they would treat my two pups the same way their original groomer does. Pet Haven is 5 minutes from my house so I figured it would be worth a shot. I called to make an appointment and when I arrived today I met William would be taking care of my two pups. I showed him some pictures of recent groomings and he told me he could definitely do something similar. I was offered the mud treatment and William explained to me how it would help my two pups feel even more refreshed and help with any itchy ness they might have. I decided to give it a try and left William to do his work. I picked them up about 30 mins ago and he did a phenomenal job. They were both so happy and you could tell they felt refreshed and ready for the summer heat. Normally my pups are pretty normal after a groom but this time they were super excited. I took them for a walk and they definitely had more pep in their step and had zoomies which I haven't really seen unless we're playing or they're about to get a snack. All of this to say, if you're looking for a place to go, definitely check this place out. I'm sure they'll take care of your pups the same way they've taken care of mine. This business is running some sort of scam because every time I brought my dog for the SAME service, they would charge me differently. I simply assumed they had upped the prices...however, one of the groomers suggested we bring my pup in between cuts for a wash and brush in order to avoid her hair getting knotted. But when we brought her in they charged us the SAME price as when she gets a cut and teeth brushing!!! And the scheme didn't stop there, when the woman was telling me the price she said $90 but then I saw her put into the card machine she put $100 WITHOUT INCLUDING TIP! I have been taking my 6 lb Maltese to Pet Haven for about a year. Their prices have gone up significantly and truthfully they are caring nice professionals but their prices are high. Also their front door that leads to a VERY busy street is not self closing and dangerous for the pets since their lobby area is very small. They wanted to charge $55 for a wash only and $80 for hair cut and wash. $55 seemed high for a 6 lb dog wash only. read more
