Pet Rush is absolutely fantastic. I feel completely at ease leaving my sweet pup in their care, whether it's for day care or overnight stays. The staff is incredible--they genuinely love what they do, and you can see it the moment you walk in. They're friendly, attentive, and so caring. Also, their space is always so clean! Lastly, I must admit I enjoy peeking in on the puppy cams to see what my girl is up to. It brings me comfort. My wife and I took our Golden here far too many times for daycare when he was a puppy before Covid while we were both in the office and he always came back filthy, scared and traumatized even for a single day. We brushed it off as him just "playing" with other dogs. I wish I could have seen more during his days there but then and now only have one low-res static camera that records during "working hours" and were unable to see him during this recent stay: We unfortunately made the terrible decision to try again with Indy this past weekend for 3 days from June 10th 2022 to June 13th 2022... My wife and I could barely recognize him when I picked him up at 8am Monday and brought him home. He was trembling and fearful of both my wife and myself for the first time in our lives. He's been moaning and crying even now at 5am while I'm keeping an eye on him. He wreaked of urine, feces, dirt and musk. His hair was matted and wet with some or all the above. The food we gave them was barely used. We don't know if he was beaten, allowed to be harassed by other dogs or just left in his cage alone (we couldn't see) but he's absolutely traumatized we'll will never bring him to this horrid place again. I have always left my doggo, Lucy, home when I was out of town and would have someone walk and feed her. She's quite an anxious dog, but as she's now closing in on 16 years old, and cannot walk or stand up easily, I couldn't leave her alone for any extended period of time. I found Pet Rush Inn on Yelp and was impressed initially with all of the 5* reviews. I was also very impressed with price point and that Lucy could have here own room for that price point. I decided to give them a shot and I'm very happy that I did. From the moment I booked (they have super easy online booking) to the time I picked up my ol' girl, the staff was nothing short of lovely and they were extremely helpful. They will send you report cards with pics and updates about your pup. In addition to that, I feed Lucy a mix of kibble and cooked lean turkey. I prepped each meal for them and they stored the meat in the fridge and warmed it up for her and mixed with her kibble each meal. I also set up a bath for her before I picked her up and they did a great job with that as well. When I picked her up, Lucy was in great spirits. I can't tell you where to take your pup when you go out of town, but I know I'll be returning to Pet Rush Inn from here on out. read more

This was our first experience with Pet Rush Inn. We were so happy to find this type of boarding facility in Burbank where we live. They know what it takes to deal with dogs of all personalities and breeds. The facility is very nice and accommodating for the dogs. Our 2 huskies had never boarded anywhere before and they are 4 1/2 yrs old. And, it just so happens that our Son's new wife's family board their dog(s) there too. Great place to bring your dog for daycare or boarding! My 8 year old terrier mix, Indy, can be a handful at times (he likes to "talk"), but the staff always assure me that it's no problem. They take great care of him, and I feel at ease whenever I have the leave him there for a day or overnight while I'm out of town. Their prices are very reasonable, and the staff are always friendly. They also will send you "report cards" of how your dog did. My favorite thing about this place is that my dog comes home not smelling like urine. I used to take my dog to a facility in Valley Village, and whenever I would pick him up he smelled as if he would be sitting in other dog's urine. It was disgusting! Not enough services for my two intelligent young Kittens that need bath, nails and day care for few hours with sociable kittens. Unbelievable that Pet Rush Inn cannot offer up a solution. Boring condo they are confined in currently fruity name for boring smart kittens. Obviously they haven't done du diligence by hanging out with smart kittens their like dogs. Kittens need a lot attention that the Pet Rush has nothing to offer I guess will be in a condo not socialize. Sad day. I've tried out a bunch of pet daycare businesses and none compares to Pet Rush Inn. After giving several well-rated daycares closer to my neighborhood a few solid tries, I noticed that my pup Ziggy Stardust would try to refuse to leave the car to go in to all of them; this is when I decided to give Pet Rush Inn a try after a coworker recommended them. It's now 3 years later and this is the only place that I bring my dog. He LOVES everyone on staff -- shout-out to Chyanne, Rikki, Sophia, and Kevin! Every time I drop him off, he's happy to see them and doesn't look back when I leave... a little heartbreaking, but I know it's good for him and the separation anxiety that he developed after the pandemic started. This is the only daycare that I trust will take care of Ziggy and will work with him based on his individual needs, as they seem to do with every dog that comes to stay with them. They always greet him by his name right when we walk in, and occasionally, I'll get cute photos/videos and a report card for the day which is incredible! The prices are also amazing considering the amount of attention that they give all of their customers and their fur babies. My puppy Jax and I love Pet Rush Inn! My dog has been going to doggy daycare here for the last 6 months and he loves it. I've been bringing my dog Pua here since she was about 6 months old and she's ALWAYS excited to step in through the front door. She absolutely loves the staff here it's like a mini-vacation for her every time. We've boarded Pua here and have used their grooming service all of which is top notch. If you're looking for a shelter type place for your dog, traumatic not an actual good experience then this is the place for you. UPDATE: THEY INJURED MY DOG (see item 6) 1. I brought toys for him to play with. They never gave it to him. 2. He's a high energy cattle puppy that needs exercise. My dog never got the exercise. 3. I was told my dog will be in isolation but he wasn't. 4. Owner said she has proof that my dog got play time. She said she has proof that my dog got his toys to play with. She said she has proof that my dog was in isolation. Yet, she refused to provide the proof other than her words. 5. Owner asked for me to leave a review so she can respond and show her proof on this site. 6. ****This is an UPDATE: my puppy was injured see pictures. Unfortunately I saw the injury after I wrote the review. Breaks my heart. How poorly did they treat my puppy that they bruised him like this? No wonder my pup is traumatized. It all makes sense now. My puppy is a shelter rescue and I didn't want him to have a traumatic experience thinking I abandoned him. I wanted him to have his familiar toys, I wanted to leave him at a place where he would receive love and attention and some play time, including exercise. I wanted this puppy to feel loved, not abandoned. My puppy cried for an hour until he finally got used to being home again. I walked in to this facility to pick him up there was no one at the front. I rang the front door bell and also walked in saying "hello". I called out but no response. I peaked at the computer screen to see where my puppy is and if I can find a person there. My puppy was in a room with several other dogs. No one at site. Not in isolation as they said he would be. That's because he's a puppy and hasn't had a chance yet to socialize with other dogs. I stuck my head in the back, called out. No answer. I walked to the back looked around and kept calling out. Saw where they kept the dogs items with their pictures and a brief description of each dog. That was nice. Except my dog's bag with his toys were left in that cubby and weren't given to him. I walked through the back calling out for someone, again no response. No one around. I just hear dogs barking, going crazy but I can't even see where the dogs are. I started calling out as loudly as I can to see if someone can hear me at this abandoned shelter. Finally a woman comes out and says she was busy and didn't hear me. Okay. Fine. We go to the front for her to charge me so I can get my puppy and leave. A second girl shows up. I asked why my dog's toys were still in the bag and were never given to him to play with. She claims they put it away because they knew I was coming. I never told them what time I was coming. This fairly can shelter your dog for 24 hours. You can show up anytime to pick up your dog and they charge you accordingly. How did she know what time I was coming. They knew it was today but they had no idea if I was coming in the morning, afternoon, or in the evening. Then while she's charging me, it's time for me to inset the credit card in the machine, she leaves to go "help" the other girl in the middle of the transaction. Abandoned again. The credit card process doesn't go through. I call for her, no response. Again. I look at the computer screen to see if I need to press next or something so I can be done and get my dog and leave. She comes back saying I can't be looking at the computer screen. Why did she leave without completing the transaction in the first place? I explained the charge didn't go through and I wanted to make sure it didn't need clerk's attention to hit "next" or something to complete the transaction. Annoyed at the whole experience, I can't wait to leave this place. they bring my puppy out and I leave. I realize they didn't include his left over food (I had taken extra just in case I had to leave him there longer). If they knew I was coming and they packed all his stuff, why wasn't his food packed too? The owner was not only not apologetic but was accusing me of what exactly I am not sure. I cannot say enough good things about Pet Rush Inn. The staff is phenomenal - they are all so friendly, helpful, and comforting. They always greet you at the door with a warm welcome and a smile. I like seeing how sweet they are with my dog. I feel confident that she's in good hands and that she's safe when she's there with them. They use good judgment especially with these recent heatwaves to make sure the dogs are not outside in the elements too long. The facility is always clean and well-organized. The pick-ups and drop-offs are also extremely efficient. I have used Pet Rush Inn for daycare, boarding, and grooming and I'm blown away by the quality of each of their services. They go above and beyond to provide the best care for your pet. I was recently on an out-of-state trip and got sick and needed to extend my trip while I recovered. I love the quality of service here. They have cameras in their play areas so that you want watch your dog playing with the others. They're good at matching dogs by their personality. Our puppy was still in the early stages of socialization, but I've been able to see him improve so much under their care. You can also see how excited all the dogs are when the staff interacts with them. It's easy to get a report card during the visit and they even include pictures and videos. This place is AMAZING!! They truly deserve 10 Stars. I really appreciate the staff and how well they treat each client and especially their babies. The location is always clean, safe and well-attended. My puppy is 11 months old and he's been attending daycare with Pets Rush Inn for 6 months. My puppy has separation anxiety and once he's handed to the staff he's extremely comfortable. The first couple of visits he was a bit timid. Now, he seems to be extremely playful and content with all of his friends. A couple of weeks ago I had my puppy Eros groomed by the on site groomer who listened to how I wanted Eros groomed. He really did an amazing job! It's really difficult to find a place that will treat your fur baby with the same care that your able to give them. This place truly provides that care. read more

I've never wanted to bring my dogs to daycare, but my younger one is incredibly active and playful, so I thought I'd start taking him once or twice a week while I'm at work. I dropped him off midday, and loved being able to log in and watch him in the cameras. As soon as I started watching, it was so depressing to see him in the sad room with 1 bridge/ramp, 2 elevated dog beds in it, and zero humans. My dog is a brat - I know it. He was bottle fed by his rescue and is super demanding, but he is never mean and loves to play with all dogs. After I watched him lift his leg and pee on every surface, he finally started to interact with other dogs, but none of them seemed to want to play with him so he had 1 dog cornered and was barking at him to encourage play. That dog was not having it, but since there was no human in sight, I was nervous he was going to piss that dog off enough to make her attack him. Instead, a couple of other dogs decided to protect her by barking at my dog. This went on for a good 2-3 minutes, and nobody came in. Someone did finally come in, mop up my dog's pee, take some pictures to post on social media, and left. I went to pick him up a few hours later, but felt major ick for him even being there that long. The staff was nice, but this is really just a glorified, expensive indoor dog park with no owners around to watch out for their dogs' well being. read more

I'm guilty of working way too much, but I can always trust Pet Rush Inn with Hux. This is truly Hux's highlight during the week when I'm at work. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure Hux feels safe and welcomed - since Hux's first day going to doggy day care I knew the team there were genuine and truly cared for every single pup (and cat) that goes there. We can't thank Roland and the entire Pet Rush staff enough for the work they put in to making it a comfortable stay for my Yorkie and Maltipoo. We are so pleased with the way Roland has trained my yorkie at the Board and Train. He took his time to explain thoroughly how it was going to be. Roland was so patient with all my worries and questions I had. He always sent updates to us and kept us in the loop. He always has gone above and beyond for my fur babies. When I first met Roland, I knew he was going to exceed my expectations for what I wanted in a trainer. He is kind, patient, passionate about helping dogs, and caring. Seeing the significant progress my yorkie has made under his training is beautiful. Many trainers I spoke with prior to Roland, all said it was impossible because he was 6 years old, but Roland made it possible. Roland, thank you for training Sweepy and providing comfort to him through it all. He has changed his ways and it shows it was all done through patience and kindness. Staff seemed nice but withheld very important information when picking up our dogs. We went over all the personality issues for each dog before letting them start and both came home very upset, traumatized and limping. For older animals, this is very alarming. When I mentioned to the polite front desk female during pick up that our terrier's face was not groomed, she advised that the groomer was already gone for the day and we could come back the next day to have them correct it, just call first. On our way home, I had to pick-up my Terrier to get him into the car. He was very upset and having a lot of problems getting himself into the car. During that interaction, I injured my back and arm trying to pick-up a 55 lbs hurt animal. When calling the next day, after explaining the above information to the person answering the phone, apparently our terrier was muzzled during grooming, so his face, neck and ears were not groomed at all. This was extremely surprising since during pick-up we asked specify how everything went and we were told that all went very well and were not aware of any problems what-so-ever. After more discussion, I determined and then told the person on the phone, that this is not acceptable, not going to work and we would not be back. We were lied to and our animals left traumatized and injured. We have NEVER had any groomer (and we have had many groomers over the years) treat our boys like this!!!!! I've been bringing my dog Lily to Pet Rush Inn for years and I couldn't speak more highly of my experience. My dog looooves people but doesn't always love other dogs. I was worried how she'd do in a group setting, but the team at Pet Rush Inn was so thoughtful. They grouped her with the less-rowdy big dogs and she's been doing great. Their live cameras are a huge bonus -- it gives me peace of mind to check in on Lily while I'm away. And I really love their online system -- super easy to make reservations, book grooming, upload vaccination records, etc. But the best thing about Pet Rush Inn is the staff. They always remember Lily, are so kind and attentive, and they sometimes send "report cards" with pictures and updates of how your pup is doing, which is so appreciated. This is for their daycare only. I spoke with a man on the phone to ask about daycare and he was really friendly and upbeat which made me excited to come to Pet Rush Inn along with their reviews. I took my dog in for a half day of daycare. The front desk workers were very nice and gently took my puppy back to the play area. There's a webcam in the outdoor area which is nice, I kept it streaming while I was at work and got to watch my puppy play for the most part, they have two indoor areas with no cameras but the woman working the desk told me they were planning to add more. I noticed they removed my dogs collar, which I don't understand why (some dogs had collars some did not). He played with a bunch of different dogs who were rotated frequently. When he started, there was a person outside with the dogs who walked around and pet the dogs or refilled the water bowl which was nice to see. She switched places with or was joined by a man who looked like he'd had enough for the day and it was only noon. At one point he was rotating the dogs, trying to bring one to the back and my puppy tried to follow him (because he's a puppy and nosy) and the man swatted at my dogs face to keep him back. Note: he did NOT hit my puppy. My puppy flinched away and if he had not moved back the man would have made contact with my dogs face. I don't understand why the woman didn't help hold the other dogs back or distract them while he rotated the one dog. At another point the handlers left the dogs unattended, which I consider to be unsafe. I timed it and the dogs were alone for 45 minutes minimum. A lot can happen in 45 minutes, and if a dog got into a fight with no collar I don't know how they would break up the fight. There are cameras streaming to the front desk at all times (but not always someone there to watch) but they would have to run through a few doors and out to the play area to stop whatever happened. I picked up my puppy and he was happy go lucky as usual and the staff was friendly and gave me an honest and detailed review of how he did that day. I feel like the ladies I spoke with like their job and love the dogs but that is the only thing I can say I liked about Pet Rush Inn in Burbank. read more

This is my 3rd review and the one of the reasons I am submitting this, is that I know how important is this topic for dog owners. So , I left Cooper for about a month (9/11-10/8) because I had to fly to Armenia. Initially I had lots of anxiety and lots of concern due to the fact that he had never been away from me for that long. But the result I got was way higher than my expectations. First of all, they kept updating me with report cards every 3-4 days, without even reminding. They have been sending pictures, providing details. But I was very touched when their manager Kevin went above and beyond and set up live session for not only Cooper but entire "small doggie group" . So, imagine me, seating in front of the camera all night (12 hours time difference between USA and Armenia) and watching Cooper running around, playing with other dogs, no aggression , no fights, just friendly, clean environment for 12-13 dogs that looked as safer as if they were in their own backyard. I must admit, this guy, Kevin, is one of the main reasons you should trust this place. He is very patient, gentle to your dog, knowledgeable and caring. So, about October 4th, I got an email from Kevin saying that Cooper had some eye infection, probably from long hair around his eyes. Right away they did complimentary bathing and cleaning the area around the eyes. Kevin kept updating me almost 2-3x/ day, we managed medication and eye cleaning solution and mean time, he was very understanding with me, feeling how much stress I was going through for being so far away. So, gradually the infection went away, and when I arrived to Petrush directly from LAX, Cooper was clean, happy and healthy. I am so happy, I found this place. Boarded our dog there, 3 days total, included 3 bags of food one for each day. They gave us 2 whole bags back which means they didn't even attempt to feed him 2/3 of his food. Did he go hungry!? They returned him to us stinking of so much poop and pee, I get it, dogs stink but he was so soiled and we found out why, it's Wednesday and we picked him up Monday and he has had 3 days of straight diarrhea. We took our Sidney here for boarding when we went on a trip. He was well card for and bathed and beautiful when we picked him up. PetRush Inn is a great place to board your pet and also a great place to help with socialization. We love Pet Rush Inn, our boy Bruno is a very much excitable and timid, however he loves going to there and playing his heart out. We board him, get him groomed and daycare with them at least once a month. I will say the employees are top notch, I trust them with my big guy and they know when other dogs just don't meld too well and will rotate them all so they all get a chance to get the sniffs and wiggles out. Goku is almost 2 and Pets Rush Inn was his first boarding experience. First impressions of the facility was impressive. It's spotless!! The staff are beyond accommodating and helpful. Kudos on great customer service. When my son left for the Army in May of this year Goku anxiety was very high. After boarding him at such a nice facility with staff that truly love animals I immediately noticed Goku was much calmer when we got home. (I am leaving this review on behalf of Russell's dog dad, Lawrence.) I recently adopted my dog, Russell. In trying to coordinate my schedule with work and Russell, I was looking for a daycare because I felt bad leaving him home alone for over 6 hours. In came Yelp and Pet Rush Inn. I first noticed the reviews and read a few. I gave them a call to inquire the night before I planned on dropping him off. First impression, the lady who picked up was amazingly helpful. Extremely helpful. I'm sure they were about to close too, but she gave me so much information and made it easy for me by advising to create a profile online so it would be seamless when dropping Russell off. That night I did. Sidenote: she explained how dogs were separated based on temperament here and I loved that. I dropped Russell early at 7:30a and I met Rikki. Another awesome person who was welcoming and that moment I felt it was the right place. I felt the trust in leaving my child with them. I checked on their live cam frequently through the day just cause I wanted to make sure he was ok and I love that they have that! I picked him around 6:30p and it was Chyanne who was there and I noticed her voice and she was the one who helped me over the phone. As they were closing she still had great positive energy and where I probably would've been ready to leave and just tired from the day, she was the total opposite and that didn't go unnoticed! I brought Russell again and realized this was the perfect place for him to "socialize" and play with other dogs since he's the only dog, plus the staff here is great. I also met Kat and she's wonderful and shows Russell so much love when we leave. Also, rest assured your dog is safe here because if there are any issues they keep you posted. I brought Russell here after his morning meal and he got too excited playing that he threw up and Kevin their trainer/manager called me to update me and give me advice because I know it's happened before when he gets excited. All in all, amazing amazing place. I will be taking my dog here for many years to come and hope Chyanne, Rikki and Kat are here for a long time to come! Rikki was the absolute best! (Spelling of name may not be correct). I just picked up my dog, Rosie, after seven days of boarding from Pet Rush and I am ecstatic. I've had not so good experiences with Petsmart and I've been despairing every time I board because it makes me and her miserable. Pet Rush was such a relief. I could see her on the webcam to verify with my own eyes that she was ok and the kennels they use are huge compared to most boarding places. Rosie is not a sociable dog and I was worried that she would be scared the whole time. Rikki sat with Rosie until she was comfortable and at the end of the week she was letting Rikki scratch her belly. This was a huge accomplishment with my grouchy pup! read more

To say I highly recommend Double Dog Dare Ya/Pet Rush Inn is an understatement! This place has been a godsend for me & my pup Bobby ever since we moved to the NoHo/Burbank area. I initially called to ask about the 2 week board-and-train program, and we met with Kevin for a consultation before discussing the program further. He recommended bringing Bobby (who was having a hard time adjusting after the move and didn't socialize with other dogs well) to day care a few times just so he could get familiar with the place and the people. Let me tell you - the day care here has been so amazing for us both. He gets to play with other dogs and burn off all his crazy amounts of energy, and he loves both facilities and all of the staff who take care of him. Even during the height of the COVID-19 restrictions on businesses in the area, the staff at Double Dog Dare Ya was able to stay open while adhering to social distance guidelines and it was such a relief to know that I could still take Bobby in. He's been going pretty much once a week since March! The facilities offer grooming and boarding services as well at great prices, so I have the peace of mind that whatever I may need for my pup I have a place that I can trust will take amazing care of him. He loves everyone there and they love him back! read more
