Hands down the BEST boarding/day care experience I've ever had. Like all dog parents I worried my dog might be lost in the fray and not get any love or attention while I'm away, but somehow Pet Rush Inn always find a way to make every doggy feel special. I also love that they have live cameras so I can check in myself on how he's doing! I can't recommend them enough!!!

I've actually been meaning to write a review for a while now as I've been taking my Nova there for years! I just had her there again over the weekend and it's my favorite dog boarding! I haven't had the luxury of sending her off to daycare quite yet, but she boards with Pet Rush Inn almost every time I'm out of town. Sometimes, like this last time, I'll get her bathed or something else extra.. she always comes back clean and happy! Normally I drop her off with a couple of her favorite toys and food, but this time she has daily meds she needed to take in the morning time. They accommodated amazingly! No complaints or calls (there never are). I added on some buddy time for Nova the last day and they exceeded my expectations! I received a full report card along with multiple pictures/video of their time together. Unfortunately I rarely review, most especially the positive ones (sadly I forget) but this last time really blew me out of water. Thank you guys! I would name specific people, but in all honesty everyone there is amazing. I mean from boarding to the grooming to the buddy time.. I've never had to ask for specific people and Nova has always come back more than happy! You guys are great and for anyone reading.. no question. This is the place to go. Your dog will not only be more than safe, they'll get to socialize, possible bath/trim time, one on ones if requested, man they even have blueberry facials (I've yet to try that one but you get my point haha). In short, next time you find yourself out of town.. bring them here. I like to think of it like this, if I'm on vacation.. why shouldn't my dog be too? Thanks again guys :)

So glad to have found Pet Rush Inn--they're right down the street from us, and have always been a fantastic option for boarding our little senior dog. She's full of energy but VERY blind, bless her, and the staff have always been so dang sweet and accommodating while she's there. She's always excited when we pull in, reluctant to leave, and I'm sure she'd love if we just brought her in every day. Again the staff are amazing, clearly know all of their dogs, and I can't recommend them enough.

I'm so so happy this place exists- my dog Pudge loves daycare and I can see why! He always comes back home so happy, and watching how he's being taken care of through the daycare cam shows how much he's loved there. Everyone has been so great to interact with, and it's obvious they love taking care of these dogs! I also get my dog groomed here, and he always comes back clean and without any trouble. I also work at one of the local animation studios, and I'm so happy they offer packages and discounts for animation workers! To everyone on the team, thank you so so much for taking such good care of Pudge. We really appreciate you!

Ask the Community - Pet Rush Inn

    Do you offer overnight boarding?

Yes we do! Please check out our website for pricing and requirements!

Our puppy, 4 months old, recently broke her elbow and needs boarding but also needs to be restricted from running and playing with other dogs. Are you able to accommodate her?

Unfortunately with an injury of that caliber we would not be able to board your puppy for safety reasons as socializing is a huge part of our facility. We do wish your puppy a speedy recovery!!

Does the training include house breaking?

Can my two dogs sleep together during boarding?

    Yes they can

Can you guys give my cat a bath? She's too fat to groom herself and loves unloading on her own butt in the cat box. I used to be able to bathe a cat, but now I'm disabled and can't manage it on my own.

Unfortunately, we do not do cat grooming. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

IS PET RUSH IN CLOSED??? Just tried calling. It says the number has been changed or disconnected. They have my deposit. Can ANYONE help?

Hi - I called (818) 471-4298 and spoke with someone this morning. They're definitely still open ?

We met the team at K9 Logic Dog Training and they assessed our dog and determined what kind of training program would be best for him to address his separation anxiety and the other skills we wanted to work on. Within a week we noticed progress. We finally were able to leave the house for an hour and go to the market together. Week by week the time has gradually gotten longer where we have been able to leave him alone for longer periods of time to reclaim our social life back. I was skeptical at first, but after that first week I became a believer. We are so happy with the results that for the purpose of just giving him structure and routine we signed him up for more classes and he LOVES being at school. We've also participated in the weekend group training sessions and they are so helpful to not only give our dog routine, but it's a great way to reinforce structure and keep him sharp with everything he learned at school. Our dog, Cooper, was adopted from a shelter after being surrendered twice…read more We quickly learned that he struggled with severe separation anxiety and couldn't be left alone. We became prisoners in our own home. We either had to take him everywhere with us or have one of us stay behind. It became a huge burden, and we found ourselves scheduling our entire lives around our dog. We decided to work with Dawit, and little by little, things started to improve. When we got Cooper back from training, he was like a completely different dog. He no longer pulled on the leash, was not reactive when he saw other dogs, his recall was amazing, and many of our typical worries disappeared. However, the separation anxiety still persisted. This is where Dawit truly deserves recognition. He never gave up on us or on Cooper. Our training journey probably lasted longer than most because of how severe Cooper's anxiety was, but Dawit went far beyond the typical follow-ups. Over the course of several months, the training sessions, check-ins, texts/videos, communication, and home visits finally paid off. There were times when I genuinely thought we'd never be able to return to a normal life, but our consistency combined with Dawit's continued support and new techniques made all the difference. Cooper can now stay home alone in his crate without issues. That being said, training only works if you put in the effort. We followed through with everything Dawit recommended, even when it was difficult or when we didn't see immediate results. It's easy to fall back into old habits or give up when progress feels slow, but perseverance truly pays off. Side note: Dawit is just an all-around great person who genuinely cares about what he does. Our dog absolutely adores him. We also love the boarding services he offers -- especially because Cooper comes home exercised and happy. Another huge plus is that Cooper is now off-leash certified, and we fully trust him to make good decisions. Yes, it can be costly, but it's an investment and honestly, I don't know another dog as well‑behaved as ours. I'm incredibly proud of the work it took to get here.

To start on a positive note: the instructors at Zoom Room Sherman Oaks are wonderful. They were kind, patient, knowledgeable, and great with my puppy. I truly have nothing negative to say about the training staff themselves. Unfortunately, management completely changed my perception of this business. When I first reached out about enrolling my puppy at just 3 months old, Diego was extremely responsive, accessible, and accommodating. At the time, it felt like he genuinely cared about helping me get started early and setting my puppy up for success. Looking back now, it feels more like the priority was simply making the sale. I purchased a 20-class package and completed about 10 sessions before I was involved in an accident that medically took me out for several months. Once I recovered enough to return, I was excited to continue training and finish the remaining sessions I had already paid for -- only to suddenly be told that my classes had "expired." Here's the issue: nowhere during the sales process do I remember this being clearly explained, nor is it something that stood out on their website when I enrolled. Had someone transparently told me, "These classes must be completed within X amount of time or you lose them," I would have understood the terms upfront. Instead, I was left feeling blindsided after dealing with a serious medical situation that was completely outside my control. What made this experience especially frustrating was how differently I was treated once I needed help instead of making a purchase. Diego suggested I contact the Culver City location because they are corporate-owned and might be able to approve an exception. Their staff was incredibly kind, empathetic, and accommodating. They even told me they personally did not understand why Sherman Oaks would not work with me given the circumstances surrounding my accident. Unfortunately, because Sherman Oaks is independently owned, Culver City could not override their decision. At that point, it became increasingly clear that Diego simply did not want to accommodate me. Communication suddenly became difficult. Calls to the office repeatedly went straight to voicemail for days. Messages went unanswered. The number Diego originally provided me to text him through stopped working entirely. Eventually, I called from my office phone instead of my personal number -- and magically the call finally rang through and Diego answered immediately. That moment honestly confirmed what I had already suspected: it truly felt like my number had been blocked to avoid speaking with me. That is beyond unprofessional. When I finally spoke to him, he initially pretended not to know who I was before quickly changing course and stating that "they" would not approve an exception. When I politely asked who "they" referred to, he avoided giving a direct answer. I asked for justification as to why a customer recovering from an accident could not simply finish sessions that were already paid for, especially when another Zoom Room location agreed the request was reasonable. His response was essentially: "Then go there instead." I have been nothing but polite throughout this entire process. I have supported this business from day one. Every class visit included additional purchases for my dog. Yet the moment I needed basic understanding and compassion, I was treated like an inconvenience. Eventually Diego admitted that he had made previous exceptions for me related to cancellations that were also outside my control. Somehow, instead of those accommodations demonstrating reasonable customer service, he used them as justification for why he would no longer help me. That mentality says everything. A good manager understands that life happens. Accidents happen. Medical emergencies happen. Especially in a business centered around pets, people, and community, you would hope kindness and empathy would matter more than rigid policies selectively enforced after payment has already been collected. This entire experience has completely changed my perception of Zoom Room Sherman Oaks. Again, the trainers are fantastic -- but management can absolutely ruin an otherwise great business. He told me that I could speak with Jillian (which I imagine is another manager), but he ended with, "but she won't be approving you either." I would genuinely appreciate the opportunity to speak directly with the owner of this location because this experience was handled terribly from start to finish. Until then, I would strongly encourage potential customers to think carefully before investing large amounts of money here. Based on my experience, the customer care disappears the moment flexibility, compassion, or accountability are needed.
