Shattered my screen (Droid RAZR MAXX) right before I was suppose to leave for a weekend trip. Took it to Damon and he taped up the screen so I wouldn't have to wear those fashionable band-aid finger tips and ordered a new screen to install when I returned. Brought my phone back on Monday, but the screen replacement didn't work. He gave me a loaner since it was going to take another day. Long story short, there were more issues and phone ended up being repaired by warranty company (found out it was covered part way through all this). I wanted a samsung battery or a high end battery for my samsung S8active, the battery that was replaced was a 4 years old original, when new would last 24 hours easily with heavy use, never overheated, while in use or charge, this brand new piece of junk is so bad my phone overheats charging or being used, battery barely last 6 hours which is nuts..my phone never overheated till i went to them. i had to delete all but one game on my phone, and put to sleep most of my apps in fear my phone will explode or crash due to overheating. My mother's cell phone died last week, just before her 79th birthday. Even though he couldn't get it working, he only charged me for labor. Had my phone screen replaced here for about 130$. It's a bit pricey but I called around and this was roughly the same price at other locations. I could have saved about 10$ at other stores but I didn't have the patience for them to order parts. Many places estimated a week just to get the parts. Ironically I messaged this store using Yelp for an estimate and was told they too had to order my specific screen.. BUT when I called the store by accident (Google lists this store name as "Fast Repair LLC") they told me they did in fact have the proper parts on hand. So I went here same day. Service was great and employees were kind. I think I went on one of their slower days but my screen was replaced in about 40min time. Faster than predicted by both the employee and myself. Another cool thing about this place is there's plenty of places to kill time nearby. Free wifi at coffee shops. A movie theater. Promising looking restaurants. I could have easily spent more time in the area. As far as my phone goes everything works as intended. I have had some previous issues with my GPS and was hoping to get that fixed at the same time but they seemed unsure how to help. They might have warned me if I discussed it prior to my visit but this is the main reason I didn't give a full 5 stars. On a bonus note, some places require you to unlock your phone for this type of thing but was surprised they never asked. Kinda nice from a privacy point of view. Overall pleased with their service. Although I wish repairing costs weren't so steep these days. I almost just decided to put the money towards my planned new phone which is about $800-$900 but since it's currently out of stock at all retailers I decided to go with the repair. read more

Very straight forward business. My screen was non-responsive and it was very frustrating. Damon explained that it's hard to really know anything about a phone and diagnose an issue without a screen to access the phone. I thought I may be in need of a whole new phone which I didn't want to hassle with, but he said he'd try a screen repair and if it wasn't successful he'd put it back as it was and not charge me. Luckily the screen was able to fix the issue and for only $69 compared to other repair places that will gouge for a new screen. He even put on a fresh screen protector in case I had trouble finding my extra at home. The whole service was done within 2hrs on a Friday and he called me at work to let me know it was ready. Shattered my Iphone5 phone after dropping it one too many times. Although I live in San Rafael and had an option to go local, I was told that Petaluma Wireless IS the place to go and so I made the drive and dropped the phone off for repair. An IPhone5 is more costly to repair than a 3 or 4 but this was still cheaper than paying the insurance claim and having to pay my $200 deductible with Sprint. The repair was done perfectly, the phone is as good as new and I even bought a stronger more secure case to prevent future breaks.
