Unfortunately I had a bad experience here, my fiance and I went for dinner, having never been to this establishment before, we were excited. We were greeted promptly and seated. Over the next 20 minutes we looked through the menu and decided what we wanted to eat, we never saw our server, then a group of six people were seated next to us, they instantly had service and got their drinks, we never even got water. The online ordering system was not working correctly so I called to place the order. The young lady did not key in the order correctly despite her reading it back to me correctly. When I called to discuss the error, after my son arrived home with the incorrect pizza, I was told to bring the incorrect pizza back and they would correct the order error. The same young lady answered the phone when I called back and asked for my name and phone number. Turns out she couldn't take the phone number down correctly either. She stated they tried to "call me" so, a confirmation of the phone number was requested, which wasn't even close to the number I had provided. They then refused to correct their employee's keystroke error stating I could keep the incorrect pizza or they would dispose of it for me however, if I wanted the correct pizza I would now have to pay full price for it. I ended up paying for the correct pizza. I was then refused the buy one get one free deal even though a whole new pizza was purchased. Would not recommend. read more

Pete's has become one of my favorite go-to dinner spots in Redding. They have some of the best burgers around (the secret is their burger sauce; order extra of it). And the rest of their food is just great all around. If I'm ever indecisive, I can go to Pete's and enjoy myself. It is a busy place and that also means it can get quite noisy. So not the place to go if you want a super quiet setting. The food always outweighs the noise for me. BUT... They do need to work on their take-out ordering. If you dine-in, you're great. But if you order to go, especially over the phone, almost every singe time my order has gotten messed up. It's been one girl who's repeatedly makes the mistakes too. So just be aware that if you order take-out, you need to double check your WHOLE order before leaving. read more

Our experience started off nice & turned for the worse. We are regulars, NOT anymore!! A homeless person came in & up to our table begging for food, initially I told him no, he continued to stand there & awkwardly stare. He finally leaves, but goes into the restaurant & up to at least 4 other tables, so we decide ok, we will give him this food, we do & expected he'd leave, only he didn't leave he went & sat down at a table (that appeared dirty as in the people were done & left) to eat it the food we gave him & he drank left over soda from the previous customer/s at that table (which was about 1/3 full, I never saw him eat the left over food on the table), a waitress stopped & talked to him & proceeded to go to the outside tables. After at least 20 minutes, finally a manager goes up to him, he says he got the food from us, she asks, we said, "yes, we gave him the food"; she proceeded to scold us telling us to go outside to give him food (we aren't ready to leave we are trying to enjoy our evening out), yelled at us & made sure to tell us "I'm the manager"! Well manager, how about be visible watching over your customers (the restaurant was very busy she should've been actively overseeing it & if she were she could've prevented all of this) you should've seen him come in & immediately addressed it, so we that we weren't approached in the first place & uncomfortably stared at for several minutes, nor should the other 4 tables have to deal with/it & how about scolding the 5 ladies standing at/behind the hostess station chatting & on their phones, maybe they should've been paying attention & alerted you, or the waitress that stopped & talked to him, she should be letting you know immediately. It is very unprofessional to be scolding & yelling at your customers, though we are regulars that doesn't give you a right to speak to us the way you did EVER, & we are NOT your employees you cannot tell us what to do or how to act. You need to go to manager 101 school. Btw, it wasn't realized by the staff what was going on until the customer who was sitting at that table, finally returned. The manager also proceeded to tell us "now we have to remake their food". Ok, again not our problem. Let me first say the food is good. I got the pastrami and fries- hot and good thick fries. Another person got the 1/2 and 1/2 lasagna- came out hot and great taste. A few other friends got sandwiches and seemed to enjoy them. My friend liked her lemon drop. Super excited to try this new place but was extremely disappointed! My husband tried the fish and chips, chips were good, but the fish tasted like old burnt oil. My son got the ribeye and you knew it would be disappointing when you saw it. Really thin and covered in butter and some kind of balsamic glaze. Other son had pizza. Was ok and i had the ahi tuna and avacado salad. I ate to slices and not only did the seasoning not go with the salad dressing, it was warm and made me sick. My husband and I ate here last night for the first time and all around it was a great experience! Cassie was our server and she was nice and attentive. We loved the decor and layout of the restaurant. We loved the cute cocktails from the drink menu. The food was amazing! First time visiting this establishment. The menu is large and there's a little something for everyone. But with no specials and no lunch menu the price is quite high for lunch. Our server was efficient, which is good, however she was very fun or friendly. The food was good, nothing I would crave enough to come back for. Two of us ordered fries. Iwas skeptical to go here because of all the terrible reviews. I knew a couple people were positive experiences, so we took a chance. We ordered the appetizer combo platter which was great. I wasn't a huge fan of the shrimp, but loved that they gave me barbecue sauce with onion rings. My fiancé had the steak flatbread. It was very tasty and light, so it is a good appetizer but not for a main meal if you are hungry. I ordered the Shrimp Pesto Linguine and had a cup of their soup do the day (Turkey sausage lasagna) The "cup" of soup was huge and filling. First was recommended by a friend for a quick pizza. They said it's one of the best in the area. Took them 15 mins for a drink and another 45 minutes for the pizza come out. I was gonna give them a benefit of a doubt but when that pizza came out the pan was warm and but the pizza itself was cold as hell. Our server finally came to check on us and she offered for another one and kindly decline since its be two hours and haven't eaten anything. It was a busy Friday night and we were seated right away and our waitress Heather took our drink orders while we waited for rest of our party. She is amazing friendly, funny and was on top of all our needs. As soon as our friends arrived she was right there to get their drink order. We ordered appetizers and things were brought out in amazing order appetizers then salads then entrees. You guys had 2 big birthday parties and all the staff never missed a beat and all were friendly and amazing. Heather is a real asset to your crew and I hope she gets a shoutout for her amazing service. The food was amazing as well I had the jalapeño burger hubby had Brewhouse burger and friends fish and chips and the chicken Gorgonzola pasta. I went to Pete's on New Year's Eve eve with a friend and her husband. They had ordered a seared ahi appetizer and shared. The fish was tender and served on a bed of spicy mango and red pepper salsa...super good with my dirty Absolut martini. Bar didn't have the goose, which I found odd, but enjoyed the drink nonetheless. The bar is nice, service was great, atmosphere a little noisy, the place was packed. We both had the salmon, served over pasta with a light lemon garlic parsley sauce. It was good and plenty. I ordered a glass of Chardonnay to go with my meal, and tried "Pete's" wine...surprisingly good...and I didn't feel ripped off like in some places. Really, should one glass of wine cost $18? I've been here twice. The first time the food was barely passable and the soft drinks were plain awful. How hard is it to mess up a soda from a machine? When I mentioned it to the waiter, he looked at me like I was talking in a foreign language. Trying to find the waiter was a trick as well. These people pull a disappearing act as soon as you order. The second time I went I gave them my name, and they said it would be 25 minutes. Half an hour goes by waiting. When I asked them how much linger, they said my name was crossed off. However, it could be cut in half on the salad size and would be perfectly acceptable. The Twisted Knots were delightful and I would personally offer a variety of dipping sauces vs. just Ranch and Marinera. The in-house beers were acceptable and the bar was full service. I couldn't wait for this place to open to give it a try. I felt bad they were delayed in opening due to the pandemic. We ordered about a week after they opened through door dash. Our order was missing 1 item. The food we did get was pretty good. We decided to give it another try a week later. This time we got a completely different order. Our name was on the tag, but it was someone else's phone number. I'm sure the person who ordered this was not very happy as it was a full rack of ribs and a steak. (our order was a small pizza and burger). I tried to give the restaurant a call and the number I called didn't even ring, it just said that a voice mail box had not been set up yet.
