I recently attended a work lunch at Petes Brewhouse. We were a good sized group and they accommodated us quickly. The server was very personable and took time with each of us as we ordered our food, I had the Ahi tuna salad, and it was delicious. Great presentation cooked perfectly, and the dressing was very nice to accompany the tuna. Food here was good, I forgot to take a photo. The garlic knots were extra delicious. I really liked the brew house burger, although it was a little on the sweet side. The French fries were very good, I liked the flavoring. Service was fine, atmosphere was also good. It's a little pricey but not too out of the current market. read more

Children can dine here but the menu doesn't offer a lot that the average child would typically eat. Choices like seared ahi, New York style hand tossed pizza, Thai shrimp, jalapeños burger, Philly cheese sandwich, & more, the restaurant is a casual place to get together for a meal. The restaurant is somewhat dim lit with large windows that offer blinds the customer can easily open/close. There is a bar with an attentive server, as well as high top and booth tables to accommodate small and medium groups. A large group may be harder to accommodate due to the spacing but walk in to see what you think & ask a server what can be done. In my experience, the service has always been very good & the servers are quite fun & friendly. Surprisingly, the coffee is really good and they offer vanila creamer. The iced tea is a little weak but good on a hot summer day. Portions of food are generous as well & I feel even with most things suffering from inflation, this restaurant isnt too over priced. You are always advised not to go grocery shopping when you are hungry! Therefore, we stopped in for some late dinner last night before tackling our list at the store. We ordered a Pete's Combo Pizza as an app (plus leftovers), a Steakhouse Salad, and the Atlantic Salmon. The restaurant was pretty packed and a bit loud even though they were closing in about an hour. Our waitress was very friendly and checked on us often. The food was beautifully cooked and delicious. The pizza was blessedly not greasy and toppings quite fresh. My salmon was a little dry/overcooked, but the whole dish was delicious. We have been to Pete's several times and it is one of our go to spots for a nice dinner. read more

I ordered the pork shank with gravy and mashed potatoes ($29) and received my food in under 10 minutes--way too fast for a dish like that. The mashed potatoes were lukewarm, so I tried another bite--cold and hard inside. The pork shank? Also lukewarm, with a cold center. I let the waiter know, and they kindly brought a replacement. Same issue. If I wanted microwaved food, I would have stayed home. At this price, serving cold food is unacceptable. I won't be back. read more

Had a great time at Pete's Brewhouse! It is much like a bj's. The food is a bit expensive, but we went during happy hour which is 2:30-5:30 Monday-Friday, and food was good and cheap. Food portions were huge! Loaded potato's are a bit different and had ground beef in them. The best part was our server. She was amazing and helped us out, but didn't bug us too much. Can't wait to come back and try more. They also have a patio which is where we sat. read more

I ordered the California burger, medium to go. $20.00. When I got home after 3 bites I saw that my burger was actually medium rare. I ended up cooking it myself until It was medium. The bun is giant but no big deal, good fries. I wouldn't yelp normally over this but....I expect close to amazing $20! read more

Well if it's this inconsistent I guess we won't be coming again. We spent almost $40 just on lunch. Stuck at the office now so no way to get it fixed. No dressing for my salad. Tiny salad compared to what i had last time, and it's the same price. No utensils or napkins. Hubby's spicy fettuccine also not good like it was last time. He described it as being blah, no taste at all, definitely not spicy. When i called, they seemed not to care, only stating that the dressing was probably put into somebody else's bag. Absolutely love this place. The pizza is amazing and the servers are very good. I travel a lot for my job and this is one of my favorite restaurants. If you set up the bar once in a while you will be surprised by a mystery shot! You have to try the monster cookie you will not be disappointed, especially if you're part of the 420 club! read more

Came for lunch around 11:30 on a Monday. Plenty of seating and parking. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and sweet potato fries and my wife Conn Salad with no blue cheese. My wife enjoyed her salad. The ingredients were fresh and the potion was good. My sweet potato fries were great! It was fresh and hot. The Cheesesteak was ok. Though the bread and cheese were good, the meat and bacon was in the salty side. Our server was great! She refilled our drinks without having to ask. She was friendly and brought our food promptly. First off, I will say that the food came pretty fast. I will also say that the philly sandwich was pretty good. BUT, the service SUCKED! First off, I ordered a beer. Waitress spilled a lot of it on the table, right in front of my friends baby sitting there. Expected her to come back and clean it up, NOPE. Next, one of the persons I was with, got their sandwich, but never got their salad. When they brought the 3rd persons food, we asked for the salad, an extra plate, and I asked for ketchup. None was brought, asked again, 2nd time, none was brought. 3rd time, NOTHING. Fourth time, we got what we asked for. Kids menu states that it comes with a main food, a side food and milk. She got the main food only. When asked about the rest of the items, they said, nope doesn't come with anything else. When we pointed it out, the girl was rude about it and said well I'll bring you some mac n cheese, and guess we won't charge you for it. Never did get the milk. Mac and cheese was watery, tasted like crap and the little pizza had absolutely no flavor at all. I would never go back to that place EVER. And it was really expensive. read more

We and another couple had a terrific double date at Pete's! Some highlights: -Friendly server, "Brianna" made our time so fun, she took good care of us! -The ambiance was beautiful! They did a great job with the remodel. We sat outside and there was perfect lighting and heaters to give us a cozy temp, even on a cold Dec night! -Great beer and cocktail selection- we had a porter and a margarita. -The food came in an average amount of time (not overly long) and was tasty! Two days ago, I placed a DoorDash order for a Burger & Fries from this new place in town, it's said my order would arrive in 30-40 min. First off, my Dasher texts me around 35 min later and says that they got to the restaurant and they told them they didn't even put the order in until the Dasher arrived, I was a bit upset but was like ok I'll give them a break. Then the food arrived around 30 min later (20-30min late). The burger was nice and juicy, but had no flavor (and it was their "Brewhouse Burger" - you'd think based on their name should be their best...fries were above average). Then tonight I ordered a large pizza and 1 slice of carrot cake (total was $52 via DoorDash). The same thing repeated itself, I got a message from the dasher (different dasher too) 30 min later saying that they told her when she arrived that they just put the pizza in when she arrived and that she'd have to wait 15 min. (Kinda messed up to do to a dasher trying to eek out a living). Anyway it ended up being about 20 min late again, wasn't too disappointed, but when it arrived it was a Garlic Chicken Pizza instead of what I ordered- a Garlic Supreme with pepperoni, sausage and another meat (no chicken at all - I hate chicken on pizza and would never order or eat one!) Via DoorDash was able to get a $32 refund, but that means I still paid $20 for a pretty small slice of carrot cake for what they charged ($12!!!). Won't likely be ordering from here again, might try in person once CoVID stuff is better. read more

The house was packed! Service was ok. Food tasted very good. Portions are the smallest we have seen and their prices were the highest in this category of a restaurant in Redding. What we had: Iced tea. Smooth and light just the way we like it. Fish and chips: Fish batter was light and the oil was clearly clean when the fish were fried. Chips were good. Coleslaw was ..just ok. The main problem was that the fish was very small. Three small sticks about the size of a frozen fish dinner. About as much fish as a two patty fish filet sandwich from McDonald's. However, the meal was $15. For a $15 fish dinner we do expect the fish portions to be very generous. So, we won't go back for that meal for sure. So we cannot recommend a fish and chips dinner at this restaurant. Look elsewhere if that's your hankering! We might try this restaurant again for a different meal. We'll see. read more

Service was fantastic.....every order was cooked perfectly, presented in a very timely fashion, Water glasses and drinks replenished immediately. Any special requests were filled with a smile!
