I reached out to petri upon an excellent r from a friend who switched to Petri for pest control after being dissatisfied with another big name company. I called because I was hearing something scratching in my attic and was given a very high quote by a major critter company who didn't seem to be clear on the problem and said they'd keep doing different things until they resolved it (each at a high cost to me). Petri sent Justin, a highly educated (UF degree in this field) professional. Justin was highly informative, honest and unlike your competitors did not try to sell me a service that I clearly did not need. he diagnosed the problem and let me know that I don't need any service for it right now! Outstanding customer service! He is so knowledgeable and skilled and clearly is passionate about his work! I've lived in Florida for the past 40 years and had a palmetto problem at first. Tried several of the large exterminating companies and the problem continued. They would come in the house to spray and they might as well have been blindfolded as they ruined several items. I have been with Petri for many years now and I can honestly say I could not be more pleased. They are professional, courteous, knowledgeable and most of all, they get the job done. Mike has been my Tech for a very long time and I cannot give you enough positive comments about him and the company. He doesn't even have to come in the house. He just sprays the exterior perimeter and I have no insects of any kind in my house. I have white walls throughout and beige tile floors. I would see anything crawling if it existed. I found Petri to be kind and professional. I called regarding a bug problem and after they professionally asked questions, it was determined that I had grain beetles. They were honest enough to tell me that all I needed to do is to dispose of all my grain products (including dry dog food) and that in a few days they would be gone. They instructed me to put new products in airtight containers. They did not try to "sell" me a service I did not need at the time, however due to their integrity I will be sure to call them when I do need them. A note to Esther W. : did you call during business hours? If you just left a message, are you sure that they could get your number. I can't tell you how many times I check my voice mail and only portions are intelligible. Ants, weeds and fleas!! Oh My! Seemed to be an on-going problem until we had Petri's start treating our home and lawn. The ant problem was a tough one, but they kept coming out until it was under control, even drilling in and under the house to find all the nests. Jesse is our regular tech now and is extremely thorough and polite, very personable. Our recent issue with weeds and fleas has been frustrating, especially now in the summer months, but Petri's recommended a treatment plan that seems to be working. Preston is our tech and he does a very thorough job also. I've always had positive experiences from our first visit with the sales rep, to office and accounting communications to the timeliness of the treatments. I have recommended Petri's to my neighbors and would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, reliable pest control company. read more

Hello If I could give zero stars I would This company bought out Complete Pest Control over a year ago. I have had the same tech for about 8 or more years with that company & he is awesome. His name is Jimmy. Since Petri Pest Control took over there has not been one month where my service has been correct. Either they show up on the wrong day, don;t call when they are coming (lie about calling as I have caller ID) and have to come back for numerous times for problems, I have called the owner Chris Cavannaugh too many times to count and his minion Dean and they still can't get it correct. In fact when you try to tell them their mistakes they argue with you. Very very bad customer service. Too bad as Jimmy is great. I just cancelled my service. I like doing business with companies that show up when they say they will, do what they say they will, and honor what they promise. Petri Peat Control is one of these companies. I had hired them for termite treatment 21 years ago and highly recommended them to others. I called them when termites came back this year. once again, I was happy with my choice. They are priced quite fairly, particularly since they do such a great job. Their management team, especially the office manager, was amazing in getting me on the schedule at a time that worked for me during an unusually busy season. Another employee, Brian, made sure the entire process went smoothly. He called when he promised, showed up when he promised, and made sure that every step went smoothly. Once again.....another company that cant handle the very simple task of communicating with their customer. Mr. Hernandez came out to my home to asses a sick looking tree in my yard. He said they specialize in palm trees and not oak or black olive trees. That's the first problem, because if your company only assesses palm trees and no other types, then your office needs to verify that before sending your technician out. Its a waste of my time and your company's time. Regardless....he said he would let his manager know my situation to see if their was something they may be able to do for me and he would let me know. My experience with Petri Pest Control was nothing short of a nightmare. The product they used was completely ineffective--not only did it fail to address the bug issue, but I didn't even have termites in the first place! When I tried to cancel their service (a total of 13 times), I was ignored repeatedly. Despite my best efforts to communicate and resolve the situation, they turned around and sent me to collections without any explanation or consideration. This company doesn't care about its customers; they just want to lock you into a useless service and make money off of you. I strongly advise against using Petri Pest Control. Hey community, This pest control company really is Great. Justin Minos came out to simply assess a small beehive I had. He called me, walked me thru the process and then advised me, as I new home owner in FL, I may wanted to consider a recurring pest control service. The price is BERY reasonable and Justin talked me thru the process etc I appreciated the time to explain but also the being proactive in realizing that, because of the location of the house, a one off every now and then may not be the best solution AND it will cost me more in the long term. Our Technician, Kenneth Burke, is phenomenal! We just laid new sod and suddenly we are getting odd areas of dying grass which obviously had us worried. Mr. Burke arrived and told me not to worry. He advised that it appears we are watering the lawn too much; which I admit is very true. He then helped me figure out the sprinkler box/timer which was previously a total mystery to us. Not only did Mr. Burke calm my fears, (I envisioned our very expensive sod dying.), but he did it in a way that was so very polite and professional. In the beginning I had my doubts about using a pest control company that sprays the outer perimeter of home as a means to prevent insects from being present in home. I was wrong. I have been using Petri Pest Control for a few years now and I am extremely pleased. I never see insects in my home and they also do a fantastic job of cleaning spider webs away from roof overhanging areas outside home as part of service. We used Petri for our pest control services for the past 4+ years before relocating to the west coast. I've used Petri for years on an annual contract whereby they come by monthly to prevent my home becoming infested with any kind of vermin. They also come by if I need them for anything between visits. Shavelle has been the service tech for my home for a long time. She is always pleasant and THOROUGH.
