This Petsmart was busy, and you had to wait a minute to get some help, but the employees are very, very nice and this Petsmart has a great selection of fish! If you go here just be patient. The young lady helping us with goldfish was very knowledgeable and dropped everything to help us! read more

I am extremely disappointed and would never go back to pet smart for grooming. I have been a loyal customer and this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. I have a chow chow and requested that they shorten his fur but keep his face and body proportional. Instead I got my dog back and did not even recognize him. It looked like a rushed job. They cut his body fur too low and did not even touch his tail. I spoke to a gentleman for 15 minutes prior to scheduling the grooming and insisted he leave notes so when I bring him in that someone else would know exactly what I wanted. No notes were left and now I'm left with a shitty job. As a groomer you should listen to what your customers request especially when I get charged 90 bucks for my dog being a chow. I will make sure none of my friends return to this place. I would have given this place zero stars if I could. A customer has been lost. read more

This store is very well kept, easy to navigate, and the people working are always so so friendly and very eager to help! The ladies in the grooming department are so sweet and very knowledgeable! Our pup was a bit timid at first, but they all jumped in and gave him lots of love and he quickly warmed up. Brittany took care of our Baker today and afterwards showed us how to hold his mouth open for better brushing and which comb and brush to use for his hair type. I can tell all the ladies love their job and have a big heart for all the dogs they groom. Thank you for taking such great care of Baker today! Y'all rock! read more

IF YOU LEAVE YOUR DOG HERE YOUR DOG WILL BE IN PAIN MAY EVEN BE TORTURED...................I stayed and waited & watched them and they still didn't care and take it easy with the grooming, so imagine while the owners that leave their loved ones. And they're very deceiving their very nice on the phone to get you in there, but when you walk in their all dry with NO personalities AT ALL it's like they get these people straight from jail on a jail release program. I'm pretty sure if their records were checked some may even be on paper. I wouldn't trust these GROOMERS with a mouse! And when I gave instructions to STOP hurting my dog the so called uneducated groomer throw the comb down and said he's not doing my dog and the grooming mgr (amber) and the store mgr (hector) were both there and saw and heard EVERYTHING AND DID NOTHING!!!!!!!!!! So what does that tell you? THERE'S NO STRUCTURE ANYWHERE IN THE ENTIRE STORE. LITTLE TO SAY I'M BUYING CLIPPERS AND GROOMING MY DOG MYSELF I'M TRUSTING NO ONE ANYMORE Also, my friend sent this to me AFTER I TOLD HIM ABOUT MY INCIDENT YOU MIGHT WANT TO THINK REALLY HARD AND LONG ABOUT PET SMART.........We have neighbors who took their dog to Petsmart to have their dog groomed. If you've ever seen their grooming stations, they're like elevated tables where the dog is leashed to a pole for the groomer to do their work. Great store, great selection. This store holds adoption events, has a Banfield veterinary clinic, and a grooming salon. It does not have a Petshotel though. I took my dog to training courses here and we got a lot out of them. I spend a LOT of $$$ on my puppies every month and as most pet owners, I'm very selective as to where I shop their treats and other stuff. This PetSmart store is one of two places where I get their things from (the other place is a dog bakery in Plano) and I'm glad to say this is a GREAT PetSmart! The staff is super friendly and helpful, they've got a huge assortment and the store is kept very clean, easy to navigate and well-stocked. In my experience, most PetSmart stores are good - way better than the PetCo stores that I have visited - but this one stands out in the way of how well kept it is! :-) read more

When I dropped by to buy some dog food at the last minute, I was disappointed to see that Walmart had the same item for $10 less. Turns out, Petsmart has a price-match policy, so I didn't have to waste my time and energy driving somewhere else or ordering online. Plus, I got to earn reward points by purchasing at Petsmart! I've never had any problems with the staff at this location. They all seem to genuinely care for the people and animals that come into the store. My dog and I also completed the beginner 6-week training course. I thought it was a good experience for both of us and definitely worth the money. We'll probably take the intermediate class in the near future. read more

Madeline in grooming was very nice and great with my dog Lexi! I took her in for a quick nail grind and she was done in less than 5 minutes. My dog is a rescue so she was a little skittish but she calmed her down while doing her nails. I just moved to the area but will definitely use this location in the future. read more

Bought Nutro dog food packs in May. Fed my pet last week from one of the packs and discovered yesterday that the pack label had expired in Feb!! Returned expired food today and got a refund- no apologies. Went out back and found another similar pack that was expired and reported it- they said they will take care of it, thats it. I got the distinct impression that these guys dont care for the customer, leave aside your pet- Luckily my dog took this well - hate to think what would have happened if she did not. Very friendly and helpful staff. Just stopped in for prescription wet food for my cat (he likes to get kidney stones) and a muzzle/nail trimmer for our dog (she's impossible). The staff greeted me right away and offered their assistance. I saw the prescription food right away so I didn't ask for help. Then later I easily found an associate to help me find the nail clippers. Easy peasy. A small wait in the line, but a friendly cashier. No complaints here! read more

Terrible service in the grooming salon. Most groomers are incredibly rude. I took my dog to get his nails trimmed and they barely trimmed anything and I when I told him (the horribly rude groomer) if he could trim a bit more he got angry and yelled at me saying if I wanted my dog to get hurt and stuff like that, instead of nicely explaining why he couldn't trim more. This is just an example of the many awful experiences I had there. Wouldn't recommend at all. read more

I was told I could just stop in for a face trim and there was not a way to make an appointment. I showed up and asked for the trim and was basically told that all of the groomers were busy and I could not be accommodated. They did not even offer a time to come back. I was picking up my dog from Banfield and was watching the groomers and they were so rough with the dogs. After watching this for 20 minutes I decided to go tell someone that works there about my observation. (3 other people walked by and were so upset with the way the animals were being treated) The employee was so rude to me and told me that my perspective was inaccurate. After I started telling him that once your groomers gave my dog 3rd degree burns he refused to look at me and walked away. I have NEVER been treated this way and WILL NEVER go to PETSMART again...other than to Banfield. SO UPSET! read more

Make sure that you check your dog after you get him from the groomer. The lady that groom him, shaved part of his skin and she didn't even say anything to me. My poor dog is having hard time walking and doing his needs. I will never take my dog back to that place. read more

The worst place you can take your puppy to get grooming. They are not patients with puppies and as soon as they see a minor behavior, they call and say they couldn't get your puppy groomed and ask you to come pick it up. Specially the girl whose name is Brittany! She showed the worst attitude with us and didn't even talk to us when we went to get our dog. I know that puppies need time, but this is your profession for God's sake! If we couldn't do it ourselves, why would we bring her to a professional?? IF YOU LOVE YOUR BABY, DO NOT GET HIM/HER GROOMED HERE!! Recently had a 7AM appointment. We were the first to arrive at 7 and had to wait on the groomer that was running 10 minutes late. At 10:30AM, we had not received a phone call that our dog was finished, so my husband called to check. The groomer that answered the phone said it would be another 30-45 minutes before he would be finished. As stated previously, we were the FIRST to arrive for our 7AM appointment. Does that mean my baby was sitting in a kennel just waiting all morning?! At 11AM we still had not heard back from them, so I went ahead and just drove to the store. Sure enough he was finished and in a kennel, but yet NO phone call from the groomer to tell me he was ready. His cut was HORRIBLE!! They shaved his tail!! It's not like he was matted, he had just been groomed one month ago! They didn't bother to call and ask/tell me that they were going to shave it!! As I was waiting I watched a groomer trim another dog's nails. The dog seemed to be sensitive. The groomer kept jerking his paws and fussing at him in a mean tone. If that's how they treat them in front of customers, you can only imagine what they do when no one is looking!! I recommend going to Every Dog's Day in Frisco for grooming services. It's where we board our babies and from now on get groomed there as well!! read more

I made the poor decision of trusting PetSmart to take care of my cat while I was on vacation for a week. A week later my cat is sick and depressed with diarrhea and pink eye (both of which have NEVER happened before). I have no clue how this managed to happen since they didn't even take my cat out of the small cage she was placed in for a week, in a room that looked like a storage closet. I would've rather left my cat parked in my car with a bag of food for a week than ever take her back to this place. If you love your cat, do not take them to PetsMart, PetSmart is a wonderful example of animal abuse. read more

I have Multiple Sclerosis. It is a disease of the central nervous system. My wife had me bring in our dogs to be groomed early Sunday morning. Due to my condition, handling the dogs is not as easy as it used to be. I had left the shot records in my car and asked the staff if they could just hold my dogs for a sec while I go grab the shot records. They said no...so I explained my condition and that I was struggling and they still refused. I got angry about the situation and was told they did not feel comfortable grooming my dogs. The young man working the register was rude and quickly developed an attitude when I pointed out that an item had not rang up correctly. Groomer Review - ZERO STARS! DON'T TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!! I didn't even have a pet there, but my mother and I were in line for checkout and witnessed a Groomer (Virginia) jerking and very aggressively handing a Maltese. The pup was very small and it wouldn't take much to fracture or hurt their bones, or injure their neck while being slung around in the strap. During the abuse Virginia repeatedly screamed the word "STOP!" in frustration. The more she jerked and yelled at the pup the more the pup began to shake with nerves. After locating the manager, Michael, I was disgustingly shocked and how he handled it. He first spoke with Virginia which just turned into a few back and forth laughs between each other, with no indication of an actual concern to correct her behavior. It appeared that his conversation with her was mostly for show as it was behind the glass in the grooming area. After sitting down to check a spreadsheet on the employee computer, he finally walked out to tell us that his employee was using proper "technique" while he had observed her....Wow! Who isn't on their best behavior when the boss is standing over you?! Needless to say our conversation was very short as he just continued to indirectly defend her and subtly accuse us of misreading the groomer's "technique." read more
