Heartbroken.. i spent the past 4 days in disbelief and complete hurt ! I've been cleaning up her wounds! And making sure she's healing i didn't have the heart to look at what they did to my dog. Her paws were BLEEDING !!!! when she came home her eyes were shot red !! All she did was sleep very unlike my happy sweet and well trained blue nose bullie .. I've been a loyal costumer for 2 years and i thought i could leave my dog in there care ..she attended their hotel at petsmart on rainbow in Vegas !! For five days ! Sent her with toys and dog bones and none of it was used neither was she given from her treats . I paid for extra attention and she doesn't seem as tho she played either my dog came home with diarrhea as well !!! I told them to feed her twice a day and snacks after every interaction. None of it took place and she came home injured !!! If this is how you treat animals !!! Please understand I'm making it my business to let peta know !! As well as the spca !!! Who is responsible for my dogs paws being hurt and her not been taken care of. And sleep conditions is very poor for a company such as pet smart !!! You have no business running a hotel !!! About a week and a half ago we took our dogs to the pet hotel. They were there for 3 nights. When we picked them up, first thing they said was "you're here early". We came 3 hours before pick up time. One of my dogs was covered in pee. Wasn't just wet pee, it was also crusty. Which means he was sitting in pee for awhile and they didn't clean him. That's why they were surprised when we came a few hours early before pick up. And he lost about 8 pounds. And to top it off, the next day he started couching. Kennel Cough! Other dog lost weight too. With boarding, vet bill, and grooming to clean them up, cost about $1000. Never coming back here again. Watch your dogs if you board then here. Thay do not take care of animals like they say. the only good thing that came out of bringing my two dogs (boy and girl chihuahua) was i didn't have to wait very long. when i came to pick my dogs up i'm told by their groomer lexi that my girl's nails weren't trimmed, when i asked why she said "she wouldn't let me", im paying for a service and i understand if my dog is being a bit more difficult than most but i also know my dog isn't the first to come in that gives the groomers a hassle, and my dog isn't aggressive, she's timid. i asked if she could try again, that if my girl sees me that will calm her down. she said "yes, i'm going to try in the back" and rushed off to the back. i asked the groomers there if she could bring my girl to the front where i can see her and she could see me, a few moments later she brought her to the front and i could clearly see my girl didn't want to be touched by lexi, which is very odd for me because i've taken her to get her nails clipped at another petsmart location and my girl was fine, she let the other groomer grind down her nails with no issue, im a very big believer in that if my dogs don't like someone it's because they have reason to, as with any other animal. she then puts her on the table and begins clipping her nails with the traditional nail clipper, i asked if she could use the dremmel and i could tell she was annoyed. i noticed she turned up the speed on the dremmel but i didn't think anything of it until she picks her up and brings her near me when i notice a pad on her back right paw is bleeding. when i asked why she's bleeding lexi and another groomer looked at her paw and said "her paw must've gotten caught on the dremmel" UM EXCUSE ME WHAT, i don't know how i didn't notice my girl yelp but her paw is clearly bleeding and i know it was because of the dremmel. lexi and the other groomer take her to the banfield pet hospital next door and brings my girl back and says "vet says she's fine, just put neosporin on it and don't let her lick it" i also noticed my boys nails weren't trimmed down that far down, i asked if she used the dremmel on him and she says "i clipped first and then refined with the dremmel" his nails look like they've been clean cut with a traditional nail trimmer. i'm furious that lexi wasn't going to trim my girl's nails at all had i not asked if she did, and ask if she could try again. the first three picture are of my girl's back right paw and the last three are of my boy, his nails could have been grinded down quite a bit more. i'm furious with the service and who knows what happened after my dogs were taken to the back. i will never bring my dogs to this location and i will never shop at this location again, lexi and the other groomer who looked at her paw and pretty much brushed the whole thing off have ruined this store for me read more

If I could give this Petsmart a 0 I definitely would. I scheduled my puppy for overnight stay at their pet hotel and it seemed fine at first. They said she would play with other puppies and then have some alone time which is fine. The next day we come to pick my puppy up, and she was crying and ALSO PEED HERSELF!!!!!!! My puppy does not pee herself just out of nowhere. I am 100% sure there is animal abuse happening here. Their doggy hotel "people" definitely do not know how to handle dogs. One of their own trainers even told me to never leave my dog overnight because even the trainer does not trust the manager for the dog hotel. I would strongly suggest anyone thinking of leaving their dog overnight or for the day to find another small business to keep their doggy overnight. THIS IS THE EXACT REASON THIS PLACE HAS 2.4 stars AND KEEPS ON RECEIVING WORSE AND WORSE AND WORSE REVIEWS. and I know no one in management will reply to this or get more information. The grooming salon at this location is disorganized, management has poor attitude and unresponsive to complaints regarding injury sustained by our dog that required veterinary follow-up. Pictures and receipts were hand delivered to the salon manager. Messages have been ignored and calls not returned. Last discussion was told "the complaint has been forwarded to corporate and is out of the store completely." The grooming salon manager said she would call with a telephone number for us to follow up with corporate. That was 7 days ago and absolute silence from her. Wow, where do I even begin! The reviews on this boarding hotel are deceiving just because some reviews are about the store or grooming service... my review will be about the boarding pets hotel! I left my two dogs there, the first time I left them for two day one night. What a lack of communication from them! They said they would take a picture and email it to me but that never happened. When I talked to them over the phone (which by the way you have to wait about ten to fifteen minutes for someone to answer the phone) but when I talked to them regarding the price, the girl (with the dog tattoo on her elbow), was telling me a wrong price and got a really nasty attitude with me, when I asked her name she hung up the phone. Ok, six months later decided to give them another chance. Dropped them off, they said they would send picture in the middle of their stay (knew wasn't gunna happen so I just didn't say anything anymore at that point) and provided me with the overall price of their stay. Called them over the phone, asked how my dogs where doing. Again, they just have no customer service skills! Very rude over the phone when I asked if they were put together. Okay, comes the day of picking them up the girl at the counter said they weren't eating during their stay, so I asked for the leftovers they said they couldn't find it and that my dogs probably ate all of it (Uh huh, I know my dogs and they get anxious being in unfamiliar places, so I know they don't eat much) ... came time to pay, they were charging me more than what it was due to "holiday rate" okay, no problem, when they went to the back to get my dogs I asked other customers waiting for their dogs in there if they were charged "holiday rates" nope, not a single customer there was charged holiday pay. So overall, be careful with them! I changed boarding facility because of the lack of communication from them!! I personally don't want anyone else to go through what I went so I would suggest another place! DON'T LEAVE THEM HERE! They will treat you rudely and who knows how they take care of our loved ones! Worst experience possible at the grooming salon. Took our foster cat to her nails capped as per request of the owner. They've taken her to petsmart before. We get there and the "groomer" if that's what you want to call her. Said our cat hissed at her... but somehow this cat has never hissed at us or even at our two year old daughter. She said she couldn't do it because our cat is aggressive and that she's by herself. Talked to the store manager Pat and he apologized and told us to come by next week and they will make sure to get it done. Here comes next week and the same "groomer" tells me the same thing.... since our cat is aggressive they can't do anything. I told them she wasn't aggressive at all. I told them their store manager told me to come back and that they said it was gonna get done. She got a different manager who told us the "groomer" wasn't comfortable doing it. I said then why did the store manager tell us to come here then... she said I don't know but I'm sorry we can't help you. If your "groomer" isn't qualified or even trained to do it then tell me. This review is for the racist and rude behavior the cashiers exhibited towards my mother and I. We have always bought pets from this location. Most recently, my female guinea pig. And for years we've loved the free samples during the holidays, the wonderful selection of small animals, and vibe of this location. Well all of that changed today. In the past, we'd bring our dogs and when they had free samples we took ONE sample PER dog. Makes sense, right? We never had a problem. And for YEARS, we did this when there were free samples. However, today they had free samples for cats. My boyfriend has 4 cats at home and 1 kitten, so it only made sense to bring home that quantity of samples since we have never had this problem before. We were at the store looking for another pet, possibly another guinea pig, but did not find the right match. When we were walking out, we took our samples, WHICH WE ASKED IF THEY WERE FREE AND THE CASHIER RESPONDED YES, and went outside. Two older Caucasian ladies rushed behind us with such aggression, and told us those were not free. My mother went back in because she had forgotten to get one more sample, and the cashier who told her they were free, suddenly said they were one per person. Which is fine, whatever, we respect that. BUT, when my mother walked in, the cashier was talking very rudely about my mother and I!!!! The customers looked at my Hispanic mother like if she was the scum of the earth and began to throw racial slurs and comments left and right. Being the bigger person, my mother said nothing and left. We were SO EMBARRASSED BY THE LACK OF MATURITY AND RESPECT the cashier and other exhibited. Mayne they should post a SIGN if the samples are ONE PER PET or ONE PER PETSON or ONE PER VISIT!!!! The place was well organized but when it came to the pets it was kinda sad to see few fishes floating dead on the fish tanks , then the food for reptiles like the fruit flies , crickets , and other insects were just in front of the fish tanks . Looked like it was not the area for it unless the fish eats crickets , The box smelled so bad (disgusting ) that the whole area smelled . We were standing by the fish area for over 30 min looking at the fishes and no one ever asked if we needed any help . They have on the website that they carried chameleons (veiled ) when I asked they said they don't have them anymore and won't ever do . not even hermit crabs . The signs for frogs were in the wrong place because they weren't any , instead only snakes . They used to have so many varieties of fish , colorful ones , and exotic ones too , now it's just $.40cent fishes It did have so much merchandise for all types of animals but not many pets how it used to be before . read more

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE PETS HOTEL SPECIFICALLY. We needed last minute boarding for our baby because she doesn't do well in cars and we needed to make a long drive. We were skeptical about petsmart because they made it clear upfront that they discriminate against her breed and she's not spayed (she's only 4 months old) and they wouldn't allow her to play with other dogs. We understood the spay thing, but the breed discrimination is outrageous. Dogs aren't immediately aggressive, they have a**hole owners that make them aggressive, but that is not our baby. She's a sweetheart that loves to hug, kiss and play (shes a staffy btw). They didn't even give her the chance to see if she was sweet, just automatically said verbatim "because of her breed she won't be allowed with the other dogs." The other dogs are allotted at least 4 hours of play, she was given 30 minutes 3 times per day and when we called and asked if she was getting at least that, they told us they were short staffed so she only got 20. We called to check on her and no one had a freaking clue what was going on. They didn't know if she was getting her bedtime treats, they didn't know if she was getting her allergy chews. They didn't even know if she had been on a freaking walk by the time we called. We asked for pictures and videos on Saturday. We called on Sunday because we hadn't gotten them at which point they lied and said they sent several and it must not have gone through. On Monday we finally received a photo and she looked so scared and uncomfortable. When we returned on Tuesday to they told us she pooped in her room and when I asked had they walked her, I got the "I think so" response. Got home and saw there was poop and urine all over her bed (she's very potty trained) so I KNOW they weren't taking her on walks as they should've. Her backpack we got to hold all of her things was covered in urine. Her favorite toy that she sleeps with, covered in urine. Every single one of her allergy chews came back so they weren't giving them to her. She returned with several bags of food and we the EXACT amount in individual bags for what she would need for her stay so NOTHING should have come back. They weren't even feeding my baby. We feel like crap for taking our baby there and never again will she ever go there. If you care about your baby, take them somewhere where other people will care for them too. This place is commercial and treats your dog like a number. They don't know what's going on. They blame understaffing for not giving what is required to the dogs and when you call to check on them, the only information they have is how cute they are. I already know that! This review is strictly about the Pets Hotel. I am sad about the few mishaps I've had with them over the past two years mostly because there are a few really awesome and caring camp counselors but then there is someone who really makes me leery to leave my dog there. Everyone at camp loves my Mocha. She went there a ton in 2017 and had a few small issues like cutting her paw on a faulty slide (that resulted in a bill from Banfield for me and some frustration as to why the slide was left in the playroom if it was faulty) however I understand accidents happen and they called me right away and handled everything wonderfully. What drove me to run for the hills was the way the manager handled the second incident in which I picked my dog up with no reports and later discovered some terrible scrapes on her belly. It almost looked like she had been shaved or something and she didn't want me touching her at all. I was horrified so I called and got mason to help. He was super understanding and said he would look further into the matter. The first thing he asked was if she was okay and asked me to send the photos to help identify what may have caused the scrapes. I followed up with the head manager the next day and he was very dismissive and told me things like my dog plays rough etc. without speaking to his staff first (who verified Mocha is not a roll over, submissive or rough play dog). He talked over me and totally made me feel like he didn't care at all and it wasn't a big deal. I had easily spent $400 on day camp that month and his attitude really struck a cord with me. Also, anytime he is manning the counter when I drop mocha off she is resistant to go to camp when usually she happily prances off. Obviously I could be giving her a bad vibe so I get that. But it could also be the way he talks down to his employees (as I witnessed last week on the 23rd) and negative vibe he puts out. I don't know but I felt bad when I went to pick up mocha and sweet Hayley said I should bring her more often because I really would like to too but I'm just not comfortable. If it weren't for Mason and Hayley's awesome service and caring spirits I wouldn't bring her at all but they give me comfort. Soooo all in all this is a huge shout out to Mason and Hayley to say your service does make a difference to people and Mocha and I appreciate you!! Thank you guys so much! The staff at the PetsHotel are truly amazing! They all care so much for the pets. We have taken our babygirl Gigi to this PetsHotel a few times now. As soon as she got her rabies shot (she was 5 months old) we took her here and they took such great care for her. Gigi has now become a regular and she now LOVES it! As soon as we step into the reception room, she starts wagging her tail like crazy and doesn't cry anymore! This shows how much fun she has when she stays here. I will continue to leave my babygirl Gigi here whenever we have to go out of town. I definitely recommend this place to everyone! read more

This review is for the pet hotel inside of the petsmart. I like the actual store but your pet hotel almost cost me a very expensive vacation, I would give your pet hotel zero stars if I could. Please retain your staff or find better training methods this was the first time ever I have not been able to put my dog in any kennel. I booked my pet about 2 weeks ago and the first day I was there I explained to the staff member that my German Shepard can be aggressive towards people that he does not know well, especially if they try to grab him. I also asked the person taking my information if we can bring my dog in and do like a meet and greet so he can get to know some of the handlers but they said it was not necessary and that they would know how to handle it. Then I came in with my dog a few days before our reservation because I was in Banfield pet hospital that is also in the same petsmart, getting my dog a check up so I went in the pet hotel with my dog to confirm the reservation I made and also asked with my dog with me if they should have some of the handlers meet him but they did not think it was needed again. Then today 06/18/15 the day that we were going to drop him off we were denied leaving my dog there because they deemed him too aggressive. I even told them that he was like that before the supervisor tried to put some round plastic collar on him, and of course got my dog angry and he growled at her and snapped his teeth in a defensive way to make her let him go but he did not bite. Lucky for me we were able to get a hold of a kennel that was able to accommodate us in such short notice, and they actually know how to handle all types of dogs and their temperments. The place we found even got my dog to come to them and let the handler put a slip collar on him with no trouble at all so I have no clue why the petsmart pet hotel staff who said was the supervisor could not handle him other than lack of training and experience. read more

I'm from California and i brought my dog with me to Las Vegas. I was looking for daycare for him so we could go get some buffet. Dropped by the Petsmart. Filled out all the forms. The front desk girl tried to put the red tag on my dog. She didn't pet him or played with him. She just came and put the tag on him. Here's the thing. First, i thought all the employees was trained to handle dog. It's common sense that you have to pet the dog first and then do whatever to him. This stupid girl didn't do it. My dog barked at her. Here's another thing. My dog rarely barks at people or dogs. He let everyone pet him. However, he wouldn't let a stranger to put a tag on his neck, stupid. Guess what she said. "Oh, this is a test to see if the dog could get along with us. Let me try to walk him around." Again, she didn't pet him. Girl, if you are afraid of petting dog, do not work at dog hotel. WTF! Guess what she did. She took my dog to the back. Then she came back and said she couldn't accept my dog because she couldn't handle him. So UNPROFESSIONAL. Another girl was freaking rude as hell. She asked us to sign the paper while the other girl was in the back with my dog. We told her we were not sure if the dog got accepted. She didn't say anything and just walked away. RUDE. To these 2 employees. Petsmart is so UNFORTUNATE to have you two as its employees. One is so unprofessional and one is so rude. I know I wrote a lot so if u don't want to read it all that here's an overview; my puppy was bleeding out of both legs when I got her back from the PetSmart hotel and I called them to speak to the manger and what he said was "I'm sorry but we don't have any note of an incident like that but what I do know is that she chewed up and destroyed the bed she was sleeping on which we didn't charge u for"... he was basically threatening me???! And if u want to read the full version keep reading: So anyways I took my 6 month old golden retriever puppy to their day care and immediately I thought it was weird that there was no live cameras, all the other day care I've took her to always had that. But I ignored that and continued checking her in. The girl in the front desk was extremely rude and looked like she hated her job and I felt nervous to leave my puppy with her in the first place, however I was running late for work so I didn't really have a choice. I left her there for a full day at day camp and an overnight stay. The next day when I came to pick her up it was the same girl and she said there was a late charge for coming after 12, I looked at my phone and it was literally 12:05 and no one had mentioned that I had to be there at 12 in the first place. But I didn't care, I just wanted to get my puppy and go. I put my dog in the backseat on top of her blanket and started driving home and when I get out I notice there some blood on the towel so I do a full examination and both her back legs were INJURED AND BLEEDING. The pads of her back legs were literally cut. I called and we all know what the manger said... IM SO FURIOUS AND DISGUSTED ABOUT THIS. HOW COULD ANYONE ABUSE OR LIE ABOUT HER GETTING HURT. I will insert pictures! I am writing this review 4 days after all this took place so it has healed a little. Overall I have no reason to lie, I don't gain anything from this bad review. I want to warn other dog owners and tell them what the PetSmart hotel did to my little puppy. If I could give zero stars based off customer service I would. Tonight we went in to return a fish we bought from there due to it bullying others in our tank. When we come in and ask for help from (didn't get her name) a woman with glasses and colored greenish blue hair, we were cut off asking our question with her saying "yeah Just give me a minute"... okay, no problem. We wait, and as we're waiting another customer asked her if they had any plecos, the lady didn't even look or nicely accommodate her. She just said "no" in a rude manner. When it was our turn to get helped, she literally just walked up to us without saying anything. Not even saying "can I help you". When we asked her if we could return the fish, not even looking for a refund, just wanted to get the bully out of our tank, she told us no. You can't return fish. We don't take those. And basically looked at us like we were stupid and just had a total Attitude towards us and other customer that asked her questions. Literally the whole experience was bad based off this lady's attitude towards customers. Kinda wild. This is the third time we have taken our 1 year old to get groomed. This 3rd time very rude and said our dog was hyper and nippy. I don't know what they did to her but she would cower when we went to pet her when she got home. It was also strange that when we got there she shook we just thought she was anxious. She must have had a bad experience last time she went-wish she could talk! They did not write down the groomers name on her "how I spent the day". Our dog had been visiting the daycare for years. They used to have nice staff, such as Hailey, Anthony and Mason, the latter became assistant manager. The Pets Hotel/Daycare Manager who is in his 50s has no people skills. The fact that I didn't remember his name was a good indication that I rarely interacted with this man who chose to stay in his office rather than to greet customers. One morning 3 parents were trying to drop off their dogs. There was nobody at the front desk. We waited for at least 5 minutes and he and another person showed up. I asked if he could hurry up with the daily routine registration and he said, "Maybe next time you should come earlier" (!!!!!!!!!!) If our dog was not left with the store, I would have asked him how he could have stayed with the store for so many years with such a bad attitude. Last summer they had a number of new hires who also showed no enthusiasm being at work. It was summer and our dog became very ill after 2 consecutive weeks there. There was blood in his poop. We were told he's getting older and probably it was the exhaustion from playing. We spent a few hundred dollars at the vet, let me rest for a couple of days, and brought him back to Petsmart because we had to work. One evening, my husband went to pick up our dog. When this older staff who was in his 60s with s&p hair walked by, our dog lunged at him and kept barking ferociously. Our dog never did that to anyone. It's not the parent's talk because Petsmart does not accept aggressive dogs in daycare to begin with, and our dog is big but gentle and playful. Then I recalled seeing this old man once where he looked annoyed bringing my dog to the front desk. So that was it. We never returned to this Petsmart. read more

On June 5th Sunday morning, I took my dog in for grooming. When I got there the young lady told me that she had a few dogs to cut so Sebastian (my dog) would not be ready until 1pm which was fine. When I got home within 45 minutes the young lady groomer called me and told me she had accidentally cut my dog (because he was fidgety and there were allot of distractions going on at the time so he was at the vet getting seen and that it was not that serious. I was shocked one because she just told me she had dogs ahead to cut and also my dogs has been getting groomed by pet smart (not this location in particular) for years and have never had this problem but I was told accidents happen. I went to pick him up and he was all bandaged up and I had to give my dog antibiotics and pain pills which seemed odd to me for such a "minor" cut but I digress. My dog was bandaged for a week and I had to go back to have the bandage removed (don't worry I have pictures) pet smart did pay for the vet visit and offered to cut his hair free but the vet said I needed to wait a few weeks to let it heal and his grooming was incomplete. After all of this I never heard from pet-smart to follow up and reschedule or to see how he was doing by this time I'm feeling unsettled so I called the manager of the store just to explain how was unhappy at the way things were handled I wondered if I should call corporate and he told me that would not have made a difference as corporate would just contact him and have him handle. He told me he would talk to the proper people and would follow up with the next day. Well it's been 2 weeks and still nothing not even a we are sorry or we want your business. The way it comes across to me is everyone at this location is just trying to cover themselves instead of trying to make sure my dog is ok I wonder if I'm overreacting but the cut on my dogs foot is barely healing and its looks like pets mart is not interested in having my business at this point of your made it this far in my review and are thinking about taking your animal in for grooming go somewhere else where they actually care about customer and the animal. Been here before and it was just okay, but this last time I received amazing service. I can't stop raving about it. I just adopted a dog here last week. A 8 week old half Dalmatian, Australian Shepard. The process took forever, almost three hours and my daughter had fallen asleep in my arms. Lugging 30lbs for over an hour killed me and by the time I went into the store I was beat. This cashier was super friendly, helpful and did everything with me. Her name was Jessica and I even called the store to praise her to the manager. She did the tag process for me, grabbed all the food, leash and collar in the store and brought it to the front. She gave me coupons that i didnt even know i qualified for that took about 20 bucks off the total. awesome! She explained all the free benefits I would get since I adopted a dog from them and the benefits I would receive. She made it so easy and fast. I couldn't have been happier with how helpful she was. She even offered to help me with the stuff to the car. She was a real blessing when I was in a crunch on time and my arm was becoming bruised and abused. Petsmart rocks. read more

After trying online and then shopping at local petshops and finding prices near double I went into the north rainbow petsmart. Greeted immediately at the door I was referred to an associate; Dina in the department I needed help in. She was happy , knowledgeable and really trying to get us the right thing and a great price. She actually took the time to search online on their website to help us find an item not in stock and then gave a better price than in the store. Went there to buy crickets for my gecko and when I go I usually have to wait a little for someone to help me , which I'm totally okay with, but I went there and one of the dog trainers inside the glass area knocked on the window and told me to go and find someone but in a rude way that made me feel stupid. So I did try and find someone , there was no one to help me. One employee was talking to someone and I stood around him and he looked at me and walked away. We had our dog stay for two nights & three days while we stayed on the strip. ( the strip didn't allow dogs) We included puppy daycare & a grooming service as well. Our pup came back well taken care of. The groomers did such a good job. read more

I've bring my dog for over a year now, and she's been receiving 45 min brushing and i have proofs. I questioned the staff and LISA, the unprofessional staff responded to me like this " I will show you our policy that we don't/never do 45 minute brushing. She didn't even think politely, she immediately told me about their policy. And all my response was " YOU LOST A CLIENT"... and tomorrow, i will report her to the higher management! !!! read more

These twisted people want to stick nails in your dog unnecessarily. My wife, who is half Brazilian but is born in Europe where we have lived all put lives up until recently, came in for a nail trim of her 3 pound chihuahua but was denied because they require proof of rabies, which my wife actually had brought in the form of the actual dog passport which they ask for at border control, which has all vaccinations listed and dates and stamped. But they claimed the document could be fake and offered to re-do the rabies shot for money! As if my wife was the type of ghetto person who would forge a document, and would have a dog without vaccination! Understandably she felt very intimitated from these outrageous allegations. It would be a better idea if Petsmart got their staff vaccinated against rabies. We are NEVER coming back here!!! If the passport is good enough for US border control, it should be good enough for these bums. read more

This store is unable to serve its walk in customers, I went up and requested help and 15 minutes later the staff had closed down a register and was helping someone that had just walked in. The other person working the floor decided to help someone just standing there instead of helping those waiting for help. The manager Jack is not running this PetSmart in a customer friendly or efficient manner. This is why Amazon and other online stores are attracting the majority of the market. This location has by far the worst customer service out of any PetSmart I've ever been to. We're going to order our doggie door on Amazon, their customer service is really customer service. I wouldn't go back to this location for any reason, so look online for another PetSmart location and go there or try Amazon. read more

Oh it's it's dec 26, 2018 time 7:34 pm I just left this store and not happy , I walked in maybe 8 mins prior to that time above and the African American security guard and the African American cashier was having a full our conversation and didn't acknowledge me so I kept walking like ok , went to the fish area seen an Caucasian lady seen looked (busy ) what I thought she didn't speak as well , was looking to add something new to the tank maybe 1 min later the security guard lady walked passed and she didn't speak just looked at kept walking , waited a few more minutes and no one came to ask me if I needed any help or anything, it sucks to leave bad reviews but this store is convenient but customer service skills not good at all sad to say, no matter what if u want people to feel welcomed then acknowledge them and don't just look at them read more

Do not recommend this Petsmart for grooming. Three times I had groomers call the day of within 2 hours of the appointment to cancel. The first reason I was told their website is wrong. I booked online for a 6pm grooming service, the groomer called and said the website was wrong that the last appointment was at 5:30pm. The second time they called to cancel because they said since my dog was 15 years old that they recommend the express service so as not to "stress my dog". Funny they just groomed him 3 months prior with no "express service". This place had always groomed my dog and now they want to do the "express service". The third time i do not even remember. It sound to me they either overbook themselves or they do not want to work and want to go home early. Will never go to that store for grooming or to even buy my pet supplies. read more

The employees are alright. It's a big chain store. I go here primarily for snake needs, and they will have the feed for my snakes according to schedule and on time. They might charge a little more than specialty reptile stores but heryou are much less likely to run into parasites or sick animals in your pet, its habitat, or its feed. read more

Super unhelpful and unattentive staff. I shop Petsmart every 2 weeks for my 3 dogs and ferrets needs, we've been loyal customers for over 15 years. Came to get an item that was displayed on the website as being in stock at this location only to be told by, who I think is the manager, their website is inaccurate sometimes and they apologize they don't have our item. Asked if they have a way to check the next nearest Petsmart for us and they said they don't do that and we need to call ourselves, are we not in the 21s century? Not only did they waste our time by driving across town But they felt The need to keep us waiting when they brought out an alternative item to talk about their lunch breaks. literally holding the item they want to show us 5 feet away but are talking amongst themselves about who's going next to lunch. I absolutely hate this location.. I've tried to give them multiple chances but I sincerely hate this facility. The staff is sucks... And don't get me started on how rude the grooming dept is.. The chick Dixie or Dottie should be fired. My dog has been goin to the north 5th location since he was born.. And I drop him off at the grooming closer to the part of town I live now and now he fucking flagged as vicious when he is not.. I walk out and drove twenty mins away to the north 5 location and got him groomed by jasmine without incident... Weird???? And he goes every three weeks.. Between no one ever helpin me, the fat manager that treated my as a suspect when I returned my pet training because I refused to do anything at this location, and the rude old lady in grooming... Was in this store for 45 min with my two children and my two nieces. I was never welcomed and there were two employees standing right in front of the doors doing nothing. I was going to purchase some fish for my children but when I went over to the fish area the lady was not even trying to look at me or better yet ask of I needed help. So finally when when was done doing nothing I asked her about some goldfish and she was very unprofessional and not helpful at all. She had a slightly attitude like she didn't want to service me. This store is disgusting. The management thinks it's ok to bag your dog food and set it on the dirty floor because their cash register area is full. The floor is disgusting and has not been cleaned. Not to mention the high volume of pet traffic and what is coming in. I brought up the existing dog flu and how that's going around and spreads easily and the did not seem to care.
