Needed somewhere to take my dog that was open and wouldn't be too busy on a weekend. Visited today to use the self wash dog service and we went around 1pm. We were the only customers there at the time which I loved. They had a selection of shampoo and conditioner that smelled really well, towels, dryer as well as a selection of fragrance and brushes to use after the bath. It was only $14 which is cheap especially with all they offer. Will definitely make this my new place to take my dog for a bath. read more

Shouts out to Petz Mania! I live down the street and literally drive by everyday. I wondered about the self wash dog option and dropped by to ask about it. My husband and I took our 90lb. lab in the next morning and it was wonderful! They provide EVERYTHING! The huge tub was perfect, different shampoo and conditioner options, towels, nails clippers, even aprons! We washed, rinsed and blow dryed her all for less than $20! The experience was awesome! Even though my husky was a bit scared of the dryer, they worked together to get her calm and dry. Facilities are bright open and airy. And they don't mind of you don't and watch your doggy get washed. Prices are good compared to other places. read more

I took in my older shih-tzu  to get groomed. Their groomer, Miranda, did an amazing job with him.  Our dog has gotten a little meaner with  age and she was able to work with him and get him looking great. I have also seen her work with other dogs and she is fantastic.  I highly recommended her. read more

Horrible! The front desk person does not listen, and passing the wrong grooming info to the groomer! I have them numerous chances and still the same piss poor results ! They will charge you for services that they did not do! Also the groomer cut my dogs foot and didn't tell anybody... Do not go to Petz mania ! read more

Bad grooming experience. Inexperience and lazy groomer. My poodle only has slight tangled fur and it can be fixed by cutting a little short will do, instead they shaved it bald totally until the skin. Only the head and tail is maintained. To remove tangle on the tail they charge another Rm5. If u can untangle the tail why can't u untangle other area? Lazy is the answer. Paid RM80 for shaving bald, I can do it myself, what a joke. I have left my dog for daycare 3 times now and everything has gone very well at Petz Mania. The staff seem to care about him and he comes home ready to have his supper and hit the sack. I have moved on from 3 other pet doggy daycare places in the Carrollton area so I am picky about where I leave him. finally, I was excited i could get a chance to board Ginger as we were looking for a place for long .. i researched Petzmania a lot looking at their posts ,their Insta live with David every single day .. i spoke to him long before i got her meet n greet .. David is the most amazing manager i have come across .. he is kind ,funny , accommodating and he understands dogs as a dog lover &trainer .. Thank you David !! we love it !! the location is clean , free from smells and has very huge yards.. they have multiple yards for different temperaments of dogs and sizes .. even i have learnt names of all their dogs due to the Insta live with david :) they have quick exit baths at half prices if you're too concerned with puppy smells .. i personally dont mind it .. they have a self serve dog wash too and pupper birthday parties ..i think i might book a party for Ginger soon!! i took off one star because their webcams are terrible :( please guyssss do something about it :( read more

Petz Mania - Pet Groomers Near Me - Dallas, Texas

So far our experience at Petz Mania has been good. We pay $16 for a half day (5 hours of play) and they also offer hourly if you only need to drop off for a short time. We did a meet and greet on a Saturday morning before we started playcare. Zoe got to meet one of the trainers in the large outdoor area and we got to see how he interacts with the dogs which was really nice. It put us at ease to know who will be back there with our dog and their temperament. We drop Zoe off about once a week and she always comes back tired and happy. A couple scrapes on her belly or paws here and there but we assume that is to be expected when playing and running most of the day. They do have a camera system where you can check in on your babies, the only downside is it is not high quality so you can barely determine what's going on and you also can't hear. I would hope in the future they improve this service and maybe even start sending home reports of how your dog did that day - otherwise you won't really know. Maybe even a newsletter with a biography of the associates or business would help forge more of a connection with the customers. Until then, a solid 4 stars. read more

Absolutely love this place!! The first OUTDOORS doggy daycare in Dallas. It's a huge open yard with a deck and baby swimming pools for the pups, tons of running room and obstacle courses for they to jump on. They separate the big dogs from the little and have great staff! Everyone is super friendly and even remembers the names of my two babies :) I would definitely recommend this place. I love that it is all outdoors with REAL grass and trees unlike many dog daycare that are all indoors or made with fake grass. They also have self serve dog washes too!! My pup has been coming to Petzmania since it opened a few years ago. Gunner is always excited to come to Petzmania and has always jumped out the car as soon as we pull up. He has always been taken care of since we have been coming here and I can trust that he will be happy and exhausted when I pick him after a day of day play. read more

We dropped out our 4 dogs for grooming. All were happy and healthy when we dropped them off but when my wife went to pick them up and take them home. She noticed the youngest had a bloody eye. We kept hoping it would clear up but after 2 days it doesn't look any better. When I called them about it, I was told they only use gentle shampoo so it wouldn't cause any redness and they would not wash around the eyes if they noticed any infection. I told the young girl that Milo didn't have an infection and this was not a red eye from soap. This was at least one broken blood vessel. She said she'd tell the owner and I could email them a photo of it. I can't prove it but my best guess is while they were grooming him he slipped or they weren't paying attention and he fell off the table and got choked by the collar or rope they used to keep them up there. I understand accidents happen but whatever caused it they should be honest and upfront. We have a doctors appointment for him Monday and I want to be able to tell them what happened so they can treat it appropriately. The other 3 dogs were very quiet and wouldn't even play when they got home. They are usually pretty active. Our oldest is only 4, the other 2 are 3 yo and them poor Milo isn't even a year. I will never take them back there again. To the owner. Although we have dropped them off once for daycare. The only other time they were there was for a nail trim. This is the first time Milo has been in to be bathed. I'm not sure why you think they've all been in for grooming. I just don't know how his eye was fine when we dropped him off, otherwise I was told your groomers would not have done any grooming around his head, and when we picked him up. I took him in Monday to the vet that checked him out and said it was indeed caused by a trauma ie choked. I'm not saying your groomer did anything purposefully but perhaps he slipped while he was attached to a collar, etc... I just wish someone would have acknowledged it before we left. read more

This place was clean and organized! This is a major plus for me when walking into a business. We used the self service wash, and within 5 minutes of walking in, we were washing our dog. My dog is not very social so I was scared to bring him to a daycare, but everyone there is so caring to my dog that he ended up having a great time! I have also had to travel for extended periods of time (more than a month) and I felt so safe knowing my dogs were in such good hands! Great place to self wash your dog, big or small. They have a pedestal in the tub for small dogs and deep for large dogs. They provided me with a water resistant apron. Had a handy short hook to keep my dog from running out of the tub. They provided shampoo a baby powder scent or a fresh scent was available. And they also provided scrubbing brush and a deshedder. Which was great to me because I literally just brought my dog. They also provided towels and an air dryer. They where super friendly and provided a clean environment. I didn't have to clean up after us either. That makes it even more worth the price which was around $10 bucks. I left a tip for the friendliness and willingness to answer questions and for clean up. Overall great place quick and easy. I will be going back. Last but not least they have a loyalty card and after 5th visit your 6th visit is free!!! read more

I absolutely love the staff and facility. I have a rescued german shepherd and was looking to adopt or rescue another. My neighbor saw that PetzMania had a sweet GSD they were adopting our and I put in my application. I now have my second shepherd George and he is amazing. I could tell how well they had taken care of him and loved on him while they had him (they had him two months). I now take both of my doggies to bi-weekly doggie day care and they both love it. My dog stayed at their pet hotel for 3 days and came home a different dog. He was a happy dog before he went there, but he came home frightened, filthy and traumatized. Something must have happened to him while he was there. Someone there handled him rough or abused him bad. It's been a few days since he came home but he's still acting strange. I don't recommend anyone using their hotel if you don't want your dog traumatized with a bad experience. read more

I had my puppy Bingo boarding there twice for 1 week each time, and I am very happy with their service. The place is clean and the employees dedicate a lot of time to each dog separately. You can see the pups on the camera all the time. Each time I am very satisfied with their service. They can even call you and update about the dog and bow he is doing. Very nice crew as well. I just want anyone reading this post that Petz Mania has still not responded to my request to where my dog is. If they sold or gave away your pet without your consent you would be irrate also. Especially them knowing that George is my service dog helps me cope with ptsd anxiety depression. Which i was in Va hospital for treatment for 45 days in a special program designed for vets dealing with ptsd. When i got out is when i found out they sold or gave my dog away. My dog Mr. parker and I lobe coming to this place - it's very rare you find a place your dog is happy to visit and the staff is equally as inviting when you arrive . Had both our dogs boarded at Petz Mania twice now. 1st time was a few months ago. There were no issues and cameras were working although they are very far away and blurry. The 2nd time we could not see our dogs the entire 3 days in the play area. Cameras were on the 1st day and not the 2nd or 3rd. Both dogs had ripped up paw pads to the point that they were limping. Their paws were also wet and skin inside was stained redish in color. I noticed one of my dogs was very lethargic and overheating once we got home. She was taken to the vet where they did blood work to find her white blood cell counts were high, indicating an infection of some type. She was given antibiotics and pain medicine. After having spent over 250 for boarding we racked up another 300 vet bill. I hate to think our dogs were stuck in a kennel for the entire weekend in their own feces. Seriously the best doggie place all around!! Great service from the time you walk in. They always remember my dog's name. Then you walk into a big space where you can wash your own dog or they can do it for you. The tubs are large and they provide the towels, soap and dryers. The grooming is the best I've ever seen and experienced! The groomers always get my dog's cut just right. The family that owns this place truly care about your dog!! Petz Mania is fantastic. The yard and play space is bigger than any other facility I've seen. My dog goes to daycare there almost everyday as I work long hours, and he has a blast. His health and mood have made astonishing improvements since he started going there. They have cameras so I can check in and make sure Charles isn't causing too much trouble when I'm at work. The staff (especially the manager, Megan) is very knowledgeable and show a genuine love and passion for animals. On top of all of this, the prices are cheaper than anything I've seen in the area. I would highly recommend Petz Mania to anyone who's looking for day care or boarding. There are also a really cool self-service dog wash stations that are pretty cheap and super convenient when you live in an apartment and can't easily wash your dog. Dropped my dog off this is the second time I've used them the owner tried to over charge me while I was waiting I noticed an older lady handling a small dog aggressively while bathing which was disturbing and when I finally got my dog she was limping she's a very young and healthy dog never has had a limp. I did ask for to be bathed for an extra ten dollars I wonder if she was manhandled like that lady did the little dog and hurt her in some way. When I questioned the owner he said no she isn't limping when obviously she was and offered nothing as a solution. I will never use this place again and I suggest you think twice before doing so the owner is shady at best. If I could give it no stars I would. The owners response is weak he tried to act like she wasn't limping around and I have a video of her limping. He offered no solution and acted is if nothing was wrong. If it doesn't get better soon, I will be sending him the vet bill. read more
