I phoned in my order and when I went in to pick it up it was all ready. Terra greeted me and ask me how I was doing. She has such a great personality n it shows thru her mask n customer service. She is just awesome. My order was individually in there own containers n loaded into a box for easy portability. The shop is still adhering to the rules and regulations for this pandemic. A clear sign stated mask are required for entrance, markers on the floor for social distancing, plexiglass to separate staff n customers n a hand santizer station. They placed a table the long way to place ur to-go pick up orders for easy pick up. Food is still fire. I just can't get enough. *#1 Phnom Penh noodles dry/extra spicy, super flavorful broth w/all the fixings: fresh basil, bean sprouts, lime, jalepenos, hoisin n sriracha sauce, more chili oil. *Spicy n Reg Edamame, I just can't get enough. If you want the perfect mom & pop shop with a gourmet level of pho this is the place for you. It's a hidden gem in the city of Compton and I wish they had more spots! The drive is worth it for the flavor and their brisket bowl is by far one of my all time favorites. Service is always top notch and the people running it always are kind and extremely welcoming! If you haven't tried it I highly recommend it read more

This is a small restaurant and there are only like four small tables. I think most of the customers order here by takeout. You choose the menu and pay first at the register. I think I ordered a pho combo. The soup base was different from other pho restaurants. I like it that was full of flavor. The meats in the soup also tasted fresh. The store staff (maybe an owner) was kind. read more

Hidden little gem that I found Yelping around, looking for another noodle place that's semi close by my work. I needed some noodles to help with my congestion (been sick for 3-4 days from my son ugh) and found this place, sold on the fact that it's not JUST a pho place, it's Cambodian style, I had to come represent and give it a shot! I came to meet my friend for lunch. Got seated pretty quick, not super busy, but enough people. Ordering was fairly quick too, we got our food in probably under 10 mins, everything was amazing! Even though I didn't have ALL my taste buds at the time, I can definitely taste the flavors from the broth. Reminds me of my mom's style of cooking for sure. Had the beef pho and it tasted okay. They were out of sprouts but I'm not sure if they give you basil which I prefer. Upside the coconut Thai tea was delicious. Next time I'll try the seafood pho or dry noodle. read more

I visited this spot expecting nothing but a great experience and that's exactly what I got. A menu item, which was the spicy beef with rib caught my eye and I had to order it. I asked the owner if it was good and he looked at me and said, "yes!" He was all truth. The spice was just right, the broth was excellent, and the meat fell right off the bone. This savory treat was exactly what I needed after a long day at work. I coupled it with a Thai iced tea with boba and let my taste buds enjoy an exquisite experience. I wasn't the only one who was drawn to this noodle dish. Right before closing a man rushed in to order exactly what I had and a couple saw how much I enjoyed the noodle dish and also purchased it. Omg i loved this place! Went for the first time today and the Lady was super nice and checked to make sure everything was going well with my meal. The food was so good i loved the broth for my shrimp pho and i loved their spicy crunchy chili flakes. The passionfruit green tea boba was also sooo good. There was good vibes all in and around the restaurant it seemed as though they have many regulars. So excited to join in and become a regular too! read more

Second time here the first time the service was decent. The food is good and that's why I came back even though the portions are small for what you're paying for. The second time I went I asked for extra Lemon I got charged $2 for 4 little wedges. The wedges together didn't even make a whole lemon. When I asked for them for extra like the person that helped me was m rude and seemed bothered to help me. Won't be coming back. I could do the extra money but not the bad attitude. They weren't busy either so not sure why it was such an inconvenience. read more

Pleasantly surprised. This place is worthy of its ratings. At any pho place, the broth is what makes it good. The broth here is clean and flavorful. I can tell they use beef bone. I got the #2 pho combo plate. For this cold weather it was great. I got it to go so the put the noodles separately from the hot pho. It was still hot when i got home and everything taste fresh. I would definitely come back to try different plates and im glad they are close to home . read more

UPDATE** just wanted to provide an updated review ..During quarantine I placed a to go order. Even though it was a brief transaction the cashier was pleasant very nice and my pho was delicious!!! Highly recommend!! I've wanted to try Pho for the longest. I recently discovered this place while searching for restaurants in the area close to home. The food was delicious. The broth and the ingredients were fresh. I ordered the chicken pho and my cousin ordered beef and fried tofu. The food had really great flavor. This review is only 2 stars because the owners customer service was non existent. His attitude was cold and dry he seemed to be irritated for no apparent reason. I love that this is a family owned business his young son was there assisting him with order. I probablwouldn't dine in again but more than likely would order some "to go".. read more

Back in January I was introduced to Vietnamese noodles at Phat Noodles and been loving it ever since. The Shrimp noodles, spicy when asked, was very delicious but not as spicy as I had thought. Nevertheless it was worth ordering if for the first time. The place is small. I think the occupancy is limited to 16 persons I went with a group of four, where we were greeted warmly by the server. Even though the place is small, seating is comfortable. A large screen tv sits high so just about every one seated are able to view. There are 9 versions of Pho. So far I had the shrimp the chicken and beef. All very delicious. For take out, most items are separated and you have to combine all ingredients at place you will be eating it at. Came across them gem while searching for some pho on a rainy day. I wasn't disappointed the reviews are spot on. The food was delish. I had chicken pho and We had spicy wonton. Never disappoints us.. fast, tasty, and potioned well. I love how the owners makw everyone feel like youve known them for years. I get the Chicken Pho, what i like about it is that the chicken is sooooo thinly sliced. Now lets talk about flavor, You literally do not need to add anything, i mean you can but its already so darn tasty. I just add my lime and chili sauce. I highly recommend this GEM. I was craving pho for lunch and decided to try this restaurant since it's close my family's home. I gave this restaurant a 4 stars due to the gentleman who first answered my phone could not hear me and stated to call back later . I was driving and decided to call again and I was able to place my order . I feel the gentleman could had tried to be nicer about how he told me to call back later , that was a bit strange but anyways I decided to still give this place a try. Walking inside the restaurant,I was satisfied to see that the owners took the protection measures seriously and had X's on the floor , sign to wear a mask and the clear protection glass in front of the register . This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The most important part of Pho to me is the broth & they have executed the foundation of their pho so excellently. It stands apart from any other and the reason is because the owner said it's Cambodian style. The flavors are completely different to me than the Pho I'm used to. I'm so glad I found this new gem! We had to scour the jungle to find anything edible and not be killed by the Khmer Rouge. Through this hardship we learned to appreciate every grain of rice that we can gain. We want to share the flavors of our culture through our food. The rich bold taste of our soup will take you home to your comfort zone. Come in and experience the flavors with us! Cambodian food is definitely a rarer cuisine to find, so this is definitely a must try if you are ever in Long Beach!

Like a wet dish rag smell. I know this as i've used large bag of garlic from Costco that became this as I didnt use by the best buy or that it had fridge burns that cause the bruising and when I used it my dishes, it tasted lik this. This flavor ruined the dish and I didnt eat it all and took home thinking I can pick out the garlic pieces and just eat the rest. This took off 2 stars. Service was ok, altho I only ordered, food came, and asked for check, so didnt need much service. I added a Khrak Cambodian iced coffee at the end to take home... this was ok too. Just Cambo version of a Vietnamese Coffee. This here was a little darker coffee flavor I felt and less sugar (which is good for me). Highly recommend!! I've wanted to try Pho for the longest. I recently discovered this place while searching for restaurants in the area close to home. The food was delicious. The broth and the ingredients were fresh. I ordered the chicken pho and my cousin ordered beef and fried tofu. The food had really great flavor. This review is only 2 stars because the owners customer service was non existent. His attitude was cold and dry he seemed to be irritated for no apparent reason. I drove around like a crazy person waiting for the opening and I was super not disappointed! We need more asian authentic food places in this community and I love pho! It is dine in restaurant, which I think is the best way to enjoy pho with all the condiments/veggies spread out, but I had to order mine "to go" in containers. I got the Veggie Noodle Soup and lord the broth was delicious and flavorful. It's like that type of pho that you don't feel the need to put anything else in there because its already good on its own. Perfect for the weather! The employees were really friendly and I'm thankful for finally having a decent place to eat A+ Pho without having to drive all the way to Gardena. Beef brisket in Phat Noodles is the best pho in the world! Pair it with their iced coffee and you have a match made in heaven. Price is very reasonable, serving is generous and most importantly, staff are friendly.
