I've been wanting to try this spot for a while now and I'm glad I finally did. My boyfriend and I came here and we both ordered Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. These were honestly one of the best Philly cheesesteaks I've ever had and can't wait to try more of what they have on the menu. We had a really good phillysteak at the Forum in LA last weekend. We are hoping this lives up to that. Waiting to see. 3 sizes to choose from. 7, 10 & 15 inch sandwich. Daughter ordered veggie sandwich and loved it. Hubbby ordered # 2 gradscape cheese steak, enjoyed it. I ordered the #1 with AMERICAN and provolone cheese. I thought mine was just ok. The meat needed to be seasoned not good served as is. The meat was not distributed evenly so one half had lots of meat and the half not so much. The peppers tasted pickled and had a snap them I didn't like in my sandwich, like the peppers were not cooked along with the onions and meat. I did like that the bread was grilled and had a nice crisp to it. The onion rings were very good, the steak fries were ok. Next time I will order differently more to suit my pickiness. I paid $36.00 for 2 sandwiches. gave a $4.00 tip. Then I saw on the menu you can order extra peppers. so I went up to order they said it was $2.18. so I paid Then I saw they gave me a small container which is about a 1/4 cup worth of peppers. I decided to give this establishment a try since there are so many great reviews and prices were significantly cheaper than Charlie's. I like the personal touch of a local owned business. But honestly, I would not be able to say it's better than Charlie's. It's decent tho. I ordered 3 different types of Phillies so I think my review is fair and valid. Absolutely BUSSIN, definitely the best Philly cheesesteak in town huge portions even though they are a bit pricey. They definitely don't put as much meat on it as the east coast does but still a pretty loaded sandwich. This is the only place I go to in Stockton for Philly cheesesteaks. First time coming here while I was waiting for an oil change. Good quality customer service combined with a speedy completion of my order makes this place 4 stars, in my opinion of course. I was greeted rather quickly and my order was taken promptly. I came in around noon-ish and it wasn't too busy at all. Got the buffalo Philly cheesesteak sandwich and it is definitely a good buy. The bread was slightly toasted, which is great since I don't want to break my teeth while eating a sandwich lol. The meat was well-seasoned and the toppings were fresh. This place must be hurting financially. They skimped on everything on my last visit there. Check out the sad excuse of a Philly cheesesteak they made me (see uploaded picture). It was all bread! I am hoping they work a few kinks out - but that in mind, the place was tidy and the service was very prompt. The main complaints I had are that my sandwich (I ordered the #1 - the regular philly cheesesteak), had too many peppers on it. Once I took some out, it became clear that there just wasn't enough meat on the sandwich. My husband did not have the same complaint - he felt he had enough meat on his so maybe just a one-off thing. My co-worker and I got the specialty sausage, can't remember the exact name but the nice guy we ordered with told me it was better than the hot dog. I opted out of the mayo, mustard (mustard does not expire, that's not normal, gross) and just got the hot and spicy peppers and grilled onions. We asked for an extra bun because it was way to big for me to finish on my own. We cut the sausage down the middle and it fit both the buns perfectly. Came to Stockton to visit my friends because I haven't seen them since High School. They suggested to come here instead since we always get Korean food. My first impression was Oh this is a unique place. Parking was good. When we came in the owners greeted us and shoutout to the tall worker in the streetwear with the big headphones. (didn't ask his name.) I got a #5 with curly fries and a medium drink. The wait wasn't long. Got the food in a good amount of time and it was delish. The sandwhich was filling and the fries topped it off. Great Customer Service and super detailed with explainations. Would I reccomend my friends to come here and try it? Yeah! It's a neat place! Generally great tasting sandwiches, however on 7/16/21 with 4 other guys we had a great disappointment, the sandwiches were not the problem but several of us ordered onion rings, big mistake, $4.79 for the absolutely worst in a lifetime onion rings, they were so darned disgusting that we couldn't eat them. Absolutely overpriced and too rubbery, soggy, horrible tasting, inedible by all. Even though the sandwiches met expectations, the high price for the most terrible inedible rings in our collective 125 years of experience is the reason that we may not trust the cook again.
