Having grown up eating at Santucci's and having worked at 2 of the locations, I'm a huge fan! Unfortunately, last week wasn't the best we've ever had. With the ongoing pandemic we try and eat out 1-2x a week to support local businesses, even when money is tight. To be honest I literally live 2 blocks from the Woodhaven store. I specifically drive to the Cottman store because their food is usually better. I know their not affiliated with each other and to me the sauce is different. In a good way. My first issue was the wait time. I know it was busy, I know your probably short staffed but, waiting in the rain for 25 minutes after my quoted time was no fun. I ordered before I left, hopped on i95 (20 min ride). Arrived and waited, and waited, and waited. Normally I wouldn't mind. But as soon as she handed me the pizza. Ice cold! I didn't say anything because i was outside in the rain and the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed as it was. Opened the bag and took a bite of the mozzarella sticks while driving home, ice cold and not fully cooked. The fries also cold. The wings were the only food that were hot. Such a bummer! We spent $55 and got cold food which is a huge let down and frankly wasn't worth the drive. I understand things happen but please Keep the pizza and other food warm while waiting. Stopped in for a small pizza before a doctor's appt. My family has been eating pizza from this branch of the family tree's locations for as long as I can remember (the O street location was a family favorite well before I was born) and the great thing is that today its the same family, same product, same recipe. There's a flavor profile you've come to expect when getting a Santuccis pizza and every bite was a blast of nostalgia. We also picked up a couple bottles of the newly released sauce. I always loved Santucci's sauce and since we have not indulged in a while what better way then to order some. I never knew they could mix types of pizza together so we Frankensteined this pizza monster. It was good. Why chose only one measly kind of pie when you got your imagination. The buffalo rolls were good but it needed a tad more sauce in it. Great flavors still. My burger was a true hero. Pillow like bun and steak meat on top of a very scrumptious burger patty. I was shocked how much the pizza haven shook me with this meaty creation of whimsy. We used to love this place. Ordered a medium pizza, 2 orders of chicken fingers, mozzarella fries, and pasta e fagioli soup. Total was over $42.00. The pizza was very thin...way thinner than we remember. Like, you could call it thin crust it was so thin. I guess they must be really cutting back. The chicken fingers were ok - not worth $7 for 4. The mozzarella fries were fine. But the "soup" was terrible. It was literally tomato sauce with over cooked pasta and beans. No broth at all. Let me start by saying that the pizza is excellent. Pricey, but excellent. Okay. We walked in to sit down, and the heat was off. These things happen. And hey, someone would be right with us. I visit Philly a couple of times a year to visit family. Every time I go, I order a Santucci (pepperoni, mushrooms) for delivery. If I had my way, I'd order it every night while visiting Philadelphia...but family won't let me. The last time my sister came from Philadelphia to Florida to visit me, I BEGGED her to bring a Santucci's with her on the plane. I had an answer for every excuse that she gave me. She was taking the train to the airport (I would have Santucci's deliver the pizza to her in front of the airport!). She wouldn't be able to get it through security (Not true! I verified that you can bring a pizza as carry-on!). The other passengers would be annoyed by the smell coming from the overhead storage bins (Screw them! They're from Philadelphia...they've smelled things much worse! Plus, all she'd have to do is wrap it in a plastic trash bag!). Alas, I didn't get my Santucci's delivered to Florida by my sister. I hope she never needs a kidney donor... People in Philadelphia are spoiled rotten. I went to visit family today and drove by the one on Cottman ( I grew up eatting the one on "O" sts) my NY pizza snob of a husband said he would try my childhood pizza but expects it to be trash since he's a Brooklyn boy and no one makes pizza better. I typically love Santucci Pizza. I grew up on it. My parents Would order it as a treat for us as kids. But my experience with the Cottman Avenue Santucci has not been positive. I live 10 minutes away, but delivery routinely takes over an hour or sometimes up to an hour and a half. The wings are absolutely terrible, small and with sauce on the side. To be fair, the pizza is still delicious. I'd recommend pick up, pizza only, avoid the wings. I have heard from others that the sandwiches aren't good either, but I can't attest to this personally. read more

An hour later we call and they never received our order, and apparently only one person can refund so we have to wait two days to get a call about a refund, and since the people who work there can't see that we paid they can't just put our order in while we are on the phone with them. I've always ordered from this place. However the last three orders have been a mess. Mozz sticks were wet and soggy and sauce spilled all over inside container. Asked for blu cheese got ranch. Asked for sauce on side they put it on the item. Next order, asked for blue cheese got nothing, asked for sauce on the side they put it on it. Asked for extra sauce on Buffalo flatbread doesn't seem like they put any Buffalo sauce on it at all. Buffalo chicken pizza has zero Buffalo sauce on it. I frequently get take out pizza from here and it's usually delicious. I love sauce, so I love having the sauce on top of the cheese as they do at Santucci's. The workers are usually pretty friendly. Delivery is also fairly quick. The only complaint is that sometimes when I order extra sauce it's saturated with too much sauce; other times it's perfect. Honestly, it was the greasiest pizza I've ever had. It gave me terrible acid reflux. I had to use at least six napkins to get all of the grease off, it was soaked. I'm not originally from this area, and have been on the hunt for some legit old forge style pizza. While I knew this wasn't going to happen at this place, I was hoping for some great pizza to tide me over until I visit home again. Ordered a pizza and fries this Friday afternoon for lunch. After taking around 2 hours to arrive, I asked the deliver guy if the food was cold. His exact response, "idk we're real busy so probably. Just as I suspected, BOTH my fries and pizza were cold. I understand restaurants can become busy however the pizza place is less than 10 minutes from my house. Santuccis has by the best cheesesteaks . They get every request down to the T . Even when ordering several cheesesteaks they get each one correct . I just ordered from the aramingo Ave location. I had a pick up. I ordered 1 sicilian pizza plain, cheese fries, and a Italian grinder. when I get there it wasn't ready yet. An didn't take that long. So I pay an leave. So when I get home I was pissed off. 1. I didn't get a Sicilian pizza! It was a regular pizza! They charged me for a Sicilian!! 2. My Italian grinder was as black as the street! It was burnt!!!! An on top of it the lettuce on the grinder was rotten its was brown!!!! The cheese fries was the only thing good!
