Really bright and open coffee shop. It was packed in here on a weekday afternoon with folks working on laptops etc. I like that you stand at the bar and wait for your drinks. It makes it really easy to chat with the baristas and it's very roomy. A lot of their drink offerings are on the sweet side, which isn't my thing. I was looking for a cold brew type of drink and saw the oatmeal cookie. It was just what I was looking for! Cold Brew with a fun twist and not the explosion of sugar. I loved the cinnamon! I would come back here for a quick coffee or maybe if I had to take a meeting. It's a nice spot!

Too much yapping. There was literally no one in the store and the baristas spent more time chatting with each other than making drinks. I waited for ten minutes for my drink to be make just to get it and have it taste acidic and bitter. Truly disappointed in my experience this time.

Good coffee and good vibes here. Spacious and clean with music playing in the background. Service is always good and friendly by their staff. Coffee is bold, sweet, and creamy just the way I like my coffee. They always make it fresh as soon as customers order their drinks. I think that is why I like my coffee here. It is freshly made! Philz is one of my favorite coffee shops and I always crave for it. My favorite is Philtered Soul with creamy cream- it has nutty flavors from coffee beans with hazelnut artificial flavoring added. One cup of Philz to make my day smooth!

Mint mojito- Good for non mint lover

I occasionally come here when I'm in Studio City to get my coffee fix, meet up with colleagues, and just enjoy a nice cup of Mint Mojito and I normally dislike mint flavored foods. I get it served ice and the mint garnish is a wonderful touch, and freshly made! Service is average to slow no matter the times I come. There's usually other customers, like at least 4-6 people waiting ahead of me for their drinks. Always. I like the seating at the long tables. It's spacious. Free WiFi is always nice though the wifi can be spotty from my experience:( Parking can be frustrating. I wish Philz changes their cup sizes to be larger. The regular cup size is small for my liking. If I want to go to a non Starbucks, I don't mind coming here.

I had a good experience here. I've only briefly been to another Philz location. Came here late afternoon for a pick-me-up and to get some work done, and their coffee definitely got the job done. Staff was kind and super helpful, I wasn't sure what I wanted off the menu so I just told her what type of flavors I usually like and she just made one just like that, it was delicious! Good environment to get laptop work done too and they are open until 7:30 which is great. The only thing is parking is inconvenient, street parking was very hard to find to I ended up having to pay to park in the valet parking behind the cafe.

TLDR: Ordered: Iced Mint Mojito 5/5 I don't know what they put in this drink but oh my god it is delicious. Warning: if you don't like mint in any capacity then don't go for it. Its not that its aggressively mint forward but its obviously there so keep that in mind. Otherwise, its almost hard to describe what it is. Its like if a mocha was a cold brew?? There are nodes of chocolate?? I'm not a coffee connoisseur to figure out how they made this be so good but asking for sweet and creamy (also used oat milk instead) made it just the perfect amount of sweetness. I fear I want no other coffee drink now if not this. The place is very cute and spacious. the staff were wonderful. More seating options inside than outside. This is prime studio city so expect to not find a parking spot and if you do it's either metered/2hr parking.    It'd be a problem if i lived closer because I'd definitely go back

Love this place!!! Service is always so amazing!! I always get the honey haze because in my opinion it's the BEST! The inside is nice and cozy I've come here to do some work before!

I am obsessed with Philz coffee! I love coming here or the Calabasas one. Now that I've been going to both locations, I can say that this one is less convenient for the street parking situation and how crowded it is inside. If you want to do work here good luck! Because both weekends and weekdays it's packed! So that's why the 4 stars. Other than that, staff is nice and welcoming and so accommodating with your drink!

a great Philz location! I've been here a few times and every time the customer service has been really great! The drinks are consistent and made with care by the baristas. My go to is an Iced Honey Haze and it hits every time! There is indoor and outdoor seating if you want to hang out at the cafe. This past time the barista taking our order gave my sister great recommendations on what drink to get based on her preferences and we really appreciated their attention to making her experience great vs. just moving through customers. It's those extra few seconds that just really make a difference in your experience sometimes! Attention to detail here is top notch! The only thing I dislike about this location is the stress of parking since the area is always so busy. There is a lot of parking around so you can find something but it can be the more complicated part of stopping by (especially during rush hour or on the weekends).

Philz coffee is my go-to staple for my morning or afternoon cup of coffee. Their specialty blends always hit the spot. My favorite is a split between the Mint Mojito or the Mocha Tesora. Do yourself a favor, put the Starbucks beverage down, and head to your local Philz today to enjoy authentic, robust, and delicious coffee again.

Sorry, drank 1/2 of my "Ether" pour over: a complex combo of cocoa & cherry
    Te-see B.

Back again to try their seasonal Much Bliss thanks to my fellow elite, Nevin. I had it made with Ether, a dark roast with hints of cherry & cocoa. Just can't do medium or light blends. Lol It's very good but I took off a star for it not being very hot. In fact it was lukewarm and not filled to the top! If it weren't raining so darn hard I would go back and wait another 15 mins to have her make it over. For $6.30 plus tip it should have been filled to the rim and hot. Just sayin. A little disappointed:(

First timer here and I'd like to say the customer service was good plus the space was very clean. Very spacious to have coffee dates or get some work done. I tried the iced coffee rose, I'd give it 8/10. I prefer sweeter drinks personally so maybe I'll try their banana one next time. It definitely had more of earthy tones in the coffee but I didn't mind it.

First, their cafe de olla is absolutely delicious. This remains one of the only places where I genuinely enjoy ordering cafe de olla. Second, their food is incredible. They serve excellent portions, everything tastes fresh, and the food is just so good. I've had their taquitos and chilaquiles, and both were delicious. The only downside is that every time I've come, there has usually been a bit of a wait, especially because the restaurant itself is pretty small with limited seating. The inside is cute, but small, so we usually end up sitting outside. This is where their Monrovia location does have the advantage because it has much more space. Parking can also be tricky. Good luck finding a spot close enough where you don't have to walk far. We usually end up parking in the residential area around the corner. That said, the staff are wonderful and always try to be as accommodating as possible despite how busy they are. Highly recommend this place if you're okay with possibly waiting a bit for seating. The food and cafe de olla are worth it.

My friend and I went into this Cafe De Olla on the 17th of this month at 2pm. She met me there and lives in Burbank. I have been here once, I believe back in 2018. It was pretty solid in every way. We were warmly greeted by Erick--the host, standing by the podium and right away he got us a seat inside. After like 5 minutes, Elsa, our server approached us to take our order. My friend and I both felt like we were being rushed through our meal. Food came out hot and quick. We opted for a few of their dishes. Tacos Mananeros, came with 4 tacos ($18.95), with 4 complimentary sauces. 2 of the sauces were very spicy and Elsa didn't warn us. We also got the Veggie Omelette with tomatoes, onions, spinach, mushrooms, Jack cheese, topped with avocado and a side order of hash browns. They made the hash browns perfectly. Told her nice and crispy on the top and that's what we got. (18.95). We also shared their French Toast topped with Strawberry, Blueberries, and Blackberries. ($16.95) topped with lots of Whipped Cream (which I love) and a side of syrup. We needed to add more syrup to make the French Toast more moist. The French Toast was a bit dry for our liking. Even the people sitting next to us who ordered the same thing were saying the same. On the flip side, the other 2 dishes tasted fresh and delicious. Great portions for the prices. We also got this drink called Powerful from their smoothies section of the menu. It was called Green Smoothie. Ingredients were the following: blueberries, honey, Greek Vanilla yogurt, avocado and Almond milk. It was simply very refreshing and delicious. My friend wanted some sort of Latte, Espresso, Americano, etc..but they didn't have any of those drinks. All they had was regular & decaf coffee. At first, I asked for Cranberry juice, and Jose, said they only had Apple and Orange juice. We found it a bit odd not to have any of those drinks. Going back to our server Elsa, she was a bit aloof and forgetful. I asked for a bowl of fruit, and it never made it to our table. After we were done eating, I asked for two to-go boxes and a bag, she forgot that too. We had to ask the other employees to get them for us. The same with to-go containers for our sauces. She forgot to bring napkins too. Jose, (our busboy), needs a raise and promotion! This young man read all the ingredients on the Taco menu which came with: bacon & egg, chorizo with potato & eggs, machaka/eggs, & nopaitos/eggs. The writing in their menu was very small. Another server by the name of Angel, truly was an angel. Checked on us while Elsa was taking orders over the phone. They have another location in Monrovia, a gender neutral restroom, place was very clean. Inside was small. It had 10 tables and nice couches with cozy, inspirational decor and pillows. Lovely music playing over head with a nice patio seating. Will I return? Yes, but not anytime soon! Also check for their business hours..

These days, that the price of an entree. We shared our appetizers: my friend had the individual portion of the uptown mac and cheese and I had the grilled mushroom. The mac and cheese is to die for! So creamy and very rich, with aged cheddar and gruyere cheeses, pieces of chicken, peas, and asparagus sprinkled throughout. A definite diet buster, but worth it! The grilled mushroom was no slouch either. Consisting of oyster and king trumpet mushrooms, the dish had a nice "meaty" taste, ironic since it's a vegetarian dish that is cooked in a plant based butter. You don't miss the lack of meat at all. For entrees, my friend got the poke bowl, which I did not tasted so can't attest to it, but my friend said it was good. I had the spicy pasta, which was amazing. The campanelle pasta was cooked perfectly, holding the savory, slightly spicy corn-based cream sauce in all its luscious folds. Along with roasted poblano peppers, sautéed mushrooms, marinated artichokes, and tomatoes, the ingredients all worked so well together to make a truly yummy dish. We also shared our desserts: My friend got a scoop of the vanilla fleu de sal ice cream while I opted for a scoop of the dark chocolate. Both were good, but I liked the dark chocolate as it had actual pieces of dark chocolate. Our server Kayla was amazing. So friendly and on it! They also had nice merchandise available for sale. Had lovely patio seating along with indoor seating. Paul, one of their employees gave me a very nice greeting and also had a nice smile. All of their employees were very helpful. I ordered their butter Croissant $5.00, and asked him to warm it up. It was very fresh, flaky, and warm. I also got their Avocado Toast with: cucumber salad mixed in with red cabbage, chilli flake, and blended with a special Furikake spread. $10.00. I also got their full size waffle (2) generous size. $13.00. Last, but not least, got their 16oz. Iced Peaches n' Cream Matcha Latte ( $8.50) (0.50), core based Coconut, organic oat. The coffee shop was spotless clean along with their gender neutral restroom. Great music playing overhead. Jazz and Bossa Nova. My only critique is that the waffle was not that fresh, I had to dip it in the syrup that was given along with another Matcha sauce which was very unnecessary. Waffle was hard to cut, and was underbaked. Prices are tad expensive, but you get what you pay for. Everything else was made/baked to PERFECTION! Plenty of parking spaces shared with other businesses. I will definitely return. Total came out to be $40.06 including tax, minus the tip. Thank you all very much!

Absolutely love the cloud matchas. They have really quality matcha that isn't too sweet and the…read morecloud cream topping works perfectly with it. The curry ham pan is an incredibly good pastry. The drink sizes are small for the price, but that's not my biggest complaint. It's the miso carrot danish. I'm a very adventurous eater and these flavors do not work together. The quality of the pastry is top notch. However. This is an apple danish with roasted carrots on it. The flavors do not compliment each other. It doesn't know if it wants to be a sweet pastry or a savory pastry. The curry ham pan is so good I know you know how to make pastries better than this.
