Egg Coffee

I absolutely love this place!! So far have had their Egg Coffee, Lavender matcha, Banana Matcha & teriyaki spam musubi. The banana in the matcha taste like actual banana & i love that it doesn't taste super artificial. Wether it is/isnt, I do not know but I do know its yummy. Would recommend! They have seating inside but gets filled up pretty fast, anytime Ive came its busy.

Coconut Coffee to go. Nice blend, PhiN!

Amazing!! Philz who? It's all about the PhiN! I would support this local coffee shop all the way. Hidden gem that glistens without having to gloat and brag. Just come in and taste the coffee. Coconut Coffee - nice, tasty, blended iced coffee with a nice reach flavorful, sweet taste. Was more of a creamy coconut taste present. Salted Coffee - iced. Hint of a salt. Tasted much similar to simple Vietnamese Coffee if you're seeking something simple, which is my usual. Nutella Banana Coffee- def tasted the banana in this one. Wasn't overpowering. Not a banana coffee person, just wanted to try it. Ordered drinks on their website for pickup.

Got the "autumn" drink in March- got the corn milk coffee and looking forward to it because many says the coffee is strong. Well not this drink. Immediately you can see there is way more corn milk to coffee ratio and the coffee is weak for vietnamese coffee. The corn milk is tasty but it clashes with the coffee taste. This would've been better as a corn cream top. Not worth $9.40 despite being a decent large size.

One of the better Vietnamese coffee spots in the area! The coconut coffee and egg coffee are two of my top favorites. The egg coffee is perfectly sweet and creamy with the egg topping, kinda like custard. I love the coconut coffee, it only comes blended with coconut shavings. The staff is very nice and typically quick!

I've ordered this place a couple of times online, but didn't get the chance to see the store until now! The place is quite small with a couple of tables to sit from. It has a cozy like ambiance with nice background music! Banana Matcha(5/10): This was my least favorite drink I ordered. The banana tasted artificial, it was really sweet, and milky. Durian Matcha (10/10): This was my favorite drink from their matcha section! It was creamy, delicious, and you can taste the durian in the drink! The sweetness level was perfect to me as well. Egg Coffee(10/10): Perfect level of sweetness and creamy! I do think it has a little too much caffeine for me, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless! Pate Chaud(10/10): My favorite is the mushroom and onion! The pastry is nice, flaky, and flavorful! Service(10/10): I didn't really interact with the workers as much, but they seem nice and friendly! Overall, a really good place to go to!

I love me some Vietnamese coffee, and I decided to venture out and try a new place. I got the egg coffee and the salted cream coffee, less sweet. Honestly, I was unimpressed. The coffee was missing something and just wasn't the usual caliber of Vietnamese coffee and there was also too much salted cream (which also was fairly bland).

Phin Cafe is such a staple if you're in the area! One of the best places to get Vietnamese coffee or even just a Matcha. I opted for a Nutella banana latte and let me just tell you it was life changing. I would definitely make the drive across town for this drink alone. Service was quick and easy. The only unfortunate thing is that since it is so popular, there were no seats or tables available.

Located off Fremont blvd, 99 ranch complex. Behind the weinersnitzels. Open daily 7am-6pm Busy Friday Morning, several students studying & remote workers with laptops already here, arrived about 830 am. - Warm, inviting ambiance with jazz music overhead. 2 friendly baristas , working super hard making our drinks & super informative, helpful, explaining drinks-ingredients. Back cafe staff making food. Coffee is strong , light coconut flavor. Blended like frappe. I really liked it. Ordered iced coffee which they informed was plain no flavors. Will be back to try more next time. - reward Points offered. -Mobile ordering available. - bathroom available

Matcha lemonade (regular sweet)

A coffee or tea drink that's about $8 is expensive in my book so if you're going to treat yourself, you might as well indulge and get something made right! Phin Cafe in Fremont is where you should visit if you're in the neighborhood. They open early and they have many delicious coffee, tea, and savory snacks to splurged for sure! In particular, although I'm a coffee person, I like this place's various versions of matcha iced (green) tea drinks. I recommend their sesame rose matcha, lemonade matcha, and matcha cloud matcha (with almond milk) at regular sweet. Haha, I haven't tried them all yet. I also don't think their drinks are too sweet but if you want to reduce sugar you can order with percentages less i.e. 25,50, and 75. I've tried their Banh Mi which wasn't bad either. Hope you visit this place and review too. Cheers.

Egg Coffee

Ordered the egg coffee. Wish I had done a better job of mixing it before I started drinking, and even though I ordered less sweet, it was still in the sweeter side for me. In the end, (it doesn't even matter) decent coffee.

Been here twice now and coffee is just okay. A bit light for me, but maybe it's what I ordered. The staff were really nice. You can tell they get regulars because they were chatting quite a bit. Small cafe, restroom in the back, few tables to hang out and enjoy your coffee. The egg puffs were good and better since you can tell they were fresh and just made.

One of our favorite spots to get a good viet coffee. We love the variety of foams they have and of course the diversity. My husbands favorite is the Egg Coffee and mine is the one with corn!!! Very strong and get the job done lol They are located next to Ranch 99 where the old Sweet Orchid used to be. Very cute cafe!

Nutella Banana Coffee
Rochelle N.

Really good Vietnamese coffee! I got the iced nutella banana coffee less sweet and it was the perfect mix of both flavors. Note that this is already sweet and if I were to have gotten it at normal sweetness that probably would have been too sweet for me! I went on a weekday afternoon and there was no line so service was quick.

What's difference between milk coffee vs white coffee?

Do they serve their latte or cappuccino in a coffee mug, instead of the cardboard tumbler if you have it at the indoor table?

yes, with a cup if it is hot. if it is cold using plastic cup...

Are dogs allowed?

No, there also appears to be no outside seating.

I can't find any info about what the savory sticky rice item is, I just see The name of it very blurry in a photo. Can anybody who's tried it let me know what's in it?

It's a bite size scoop of pate, some pork(?) floss, bbq pork, chopped egg, pickled carrot/radish, deli ham, and something similar to Chinese cured sausage. Search xio in pics

I met up with my non-vegan best friend, and we both loved our meals. We shared two vegan appetizers and each got our own entree. I appreciate that they have a separate vegan menu with lots of options to choose from. Here's what we ordered: Mango Mojito, Vegan Thai Tea, Roti Curry, Vegan Crispy Eggplant Strips, Vegan Shrimp Laksa Noodle Soup, and Premium BBQ Combo. The presentation of our dishes was on point, and the portions were generous. Everything I tried was super flavorful and delicious. The curry sauce for the roti was incredible, and the breading on the crispy eggplant was really flavorful and tasty, though I was a bit surprised by the ketchup on top. Next time, I'd ask for the ketchup on the side. The laksa noodle soup broth had an amazing depth of flavor. I didn't try the mango mojito or BBQ combo, but my friend said she absolutely loved them! Highly recommend checking this place out; we're definitely going back to try more things!

Our food arrived at 8:45 pm, but it was clearly rushed by the kirhcen and simply wasn't good. To make matters worse, we were abruptly handed the bill at 9 pm - just 15 minutes after our meals hit the table. We felt incredibly unwelcome and rushed throughout the entire experience. I'll be taking a long break from this spot until the customer service and kitchen pacing improve.

TWO PHOS AND TWO RICE PLATES…read more The first time I came here was about a couple of months ago for Sunday dinner with my family. I'm not a fan of pho so I decided to order a rice plate, which was Combo Plate #2 that included one grilled pork and two fried chicken wings. The rice plate I ordered was ok. Even though the chicken wings were cooked inside the meat tasted bland. I wasn't planning to come back here anytime soon. On the menu however I saw a pho item that consisted of chicken quarters. The next time I came here was a couple of days later for lunch. I ordered the pho with chicken quarters. With the addition of the ginger scallion sauce the dish is basically Hainan chicken pho. I've had this type of pho at another eatery and is the best chicken soup I've ever had. Since the chicken isn't shredded, the meat isn't dry. Usually for Hainan chicken I would dip the chicken in the ginger scallion sauce. I did something different for the first time. I added the scallion ginger sauce in the broth. This brought more flavor to the broth. I'd rather have scallion ginger sauce in the broth than sriracha. I'm not a fan of pho. Having the chicken quarters pho provided me a different perspective on pho. When I started having pho I would order get rare steak and beef tendon. What I noticed is that the rare steak changes the texture of the broth, which becomes murky. Maybe that's why I never craved for pho. I find well done beef atrocious. After having the chicken quarters pho I thought why not try the well done brisket. About week later I ordered the well done brisket pho for lunch. From the outset I noticed the broth from the well-done pho is clearer than any beef pho before. How did the broth taste? The broth was the best tasting pho with beef ingredients. I think that has to do with not having raw slices of beef. The blood from the raw beef makes the broth murky. Since the brisket was well-done there was no blood that made the broth cloudy. Also the flavor of the broth enhanced due to the fat from the brisket. The well-done brisket give me a different perspective on pho. Maybe in the future I just order well-done brisket for pho. My last visit I had another rice plate. As I already ordered the chicken leg quarters pho I wanted to try the rice plate version. This dish is Pho Nation's version of Hainan chicken. Even though the scallion ginger was served this dish is different from Hainan chicken as chicken at Pho Nation is steamed and served hot. I ate two phos and two rice dishes. Normally at pho eateries I tend to like the rice dishes more, but at Pho Nation I enjoyed the phos more. If I want to eat pho with a clear yet tasty broth I would come to Pho Nation for either the chicken quarters or well-done brisket pho.
