I'm so happy to finally have a pho place so close to my work. Tried this place out during my lunch today and was very satisfied! The ambiance of this place is so cute and clean. I got the chicken pho and devoured everything in seconds. There's a milk tea menu as well so I had to try it out. I got the winter melon green tea with black boba! It was sooooo good! The tea flavor is so good and the sweetness was just right (I get 75%). I think I found my new favorite pho/milk tea place!! read more

Pretty good pho place! My friend and I got their regular pho, spring rolls, and Banh mi. Their Banh mi was super well toasted - it was the perfect crunch! Spring rolls were great as all. Their broth was a bit different from the other pho places I've been to but it was still really good. It had a more sour and subtle taste - not very strong but it was still really good. He did not mentioned anything about the old review nor did he asked for it to be updated, just did it because he wanted to make sure his customers get what they want. Old review: The first time I went here, the pho was decent. Service was good. Solid 4 stars. Today it is raining, and my kid needed some pho and I needed food. I just got off of work and was brain dead and so I just wanted to head home asap to eat. The call in, pay, and pick up process was fast and efficient. Just got home and found out that the guy at the register gave me someone else's order. WTF. Checked my phone and saw a missed number but no voicemail from the restaurant. Was so excited they opened a new one! The one on Winchester has proved my favorite location. My father & I live close & go all of the time. This one is now close to our shopping spot & bf's work. I was to be honest a little disappointed in the service, compared to Winchester. Maybe cause I've been there more often so I'm willing to over look. Mainly gave 3 stars because the one on Winchester gets 4. Not really sure what the difference is BUT the broth tastes MUCH saltier here than there. I always get #6 & I eat it ALL. Yessss, super stoked these guys opened up on the south side of SJ. It is great to have more food options that are not national chain brands. This is the second location for Pho 24. The place looks great / clean, staff is always friendly and helpful. Ive been there so much lately I see some of the same customers. The staff starts giving me the was up nod. Hahah. Food has been hitting the spot for me. All the rain got me on a soup diet. But I have tried many of the rice and noodle dishes (shaken beef is bomb) also a few of the soups. ( wanton with yellow noodle) my kid loves the the sweet potato fries "ask for crispy" also the Lychee and taro shakes are yummy, i think they also drip each ice coffee fresh, not the machine stuff. After an afternoon out with friends, we were pretty cold and hungry so stopped by here for a nice bowl of pho. The place is huge, clean, and decorated nice and modern so it made a great impression off the bat! Bathrooms were missing hand soap though?? As for the food, a large bowl of veggie pho was enough to satiate my husband and myself. The broth was flavorful and the soup itself was filling without needing tofu. Our friends also ordered fresh spring rolls which they enjoyed too. Overall a solid place for vegetarians and well priced for quality! We'll be returning when the craving hits again read more

FAVORITE PHO IN SAN JOSE, I usually go to the other location off of Winchester, after driving home two weeks ago I noticed this location down the street from my house! I went and ate here the next day and it's the same PHO just under different management! The owner was so nice and friendly, I went back and ate here three times in one week! For me, their highlight is the grilled pork Banh Mi. Consistently great, packed with goodies, and a superb value at $6. This banh mi is worth 4.5 stars. I also like the clean and airy decor. Low lights though were the duck noodle soup and the wonton soup. The meats in both were tough. Did not enjoy taste of meat or broth. Scoring in the middle is their pho. Disappointed tonight. Got delivery and was not what I expected. The springrolls had pork inside them which was not appetizing. Prawns only are how they should be made. The $20 entree was mostly vegetables. It was called shrimp and pork vermicelli. It had three very overcooked shrimp that were not good. Tons of veggies, which is fresh and nice but worth $20??? I went here during the soft opening to get some vegetarian pho with my friend! We both ordered the same thing and the prices were amazing! I got a large pho for $7. The prices however are now not really worth the pho here. Service was attentive and speedy and parking here is a breeze but the pho itself had super salty broth. I loved the noodles and tofu and veggies but the broth just needed less salt. By the end of the meal I was super bloated and considering San Jose has excellent pho places, not sure if I'll be ordering pho here again, maybe the spring rolls. I haven't tried the beef broth, or chicken broth, but I would definitely steer clear from the veggie pho. read more

Our first experience with this restaurant we ordered to go and they gave us the wrong order. The order they gave us was less expensive than our original order. The second to go order they got the order wrong. Instead of seafood I got beef. Had to take the order back and they gave me 50% off. Meanwhile my husband's home eating by himself and I have to drive back to pick up the right order. No apologies from the staff. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, but I didn't get the decent dining experience I hoped for. My wife and I just moved here and was so excited to see pho 24 grand opening we wanted to check it out and make it our usual spot for Vietnamese food. I ordered pho and noticed that it was taking a long time. My wife got her food, okay I can wait no problem. Then a new couple sits down, orders and 10 minutes later they get their pho. I finally flagged down the waitress that ignored me twice, 25 minutes later I'm still waiting, ...no pho, my wife's half way done with her meal. Ask my waiter what happened? He told me, "something broke in the kitchen." Really wanted pho that day. Very disappointed in service. My wife's bun was good. But your food is good as your service. This place is open for indoor and outdoor dining. Good and fast service. This place has plenty of parking and lots of space to be socially distanced from other tables. I ordered two spring rolls, and they were huge when they came out. They looked like rice paper burritos. I swear, most places I've been to only serve half the the size of these. They only place that has bigger springs roles is my house when I make them. AND they were good, not hard rice paper, tender pork, and good shrimp with perfect noodles and crispy veggies. Plus, the peanut sauce was chunky with pickled veggies and peanuts. These spring rolls were definitely worth the price. I ordered veggie pho and my wife ordered beef pho (pho tai). The broths were different, of course. The veggie pho came with plain broth, not chicken broth like pho tai. But both tasted amazing...or maybe it's because it feels like a year since I've sat down and had fresh pho at a restaurant. The veggie pho came with healthy chunks of veggies: carrots, celery, broccoli, tofu, onion, cilantro. But I also added some bean sprouts, basil leaves, sirracha, and plum sauce with a splash of lemon. There was also a nice large portion or noodles. They only catch with veggie pho with tofu is that it only comes in one size, so you better be hungry. In the end, I left full, happy, and thinking that I just found my new pho spot. Craving for a bowl of pho soup on Rainy day morning. so i decided to try this new pho place. I ordered a large bowl of pho dac biet for $11.75 the bowl itself wasn't that much of large portion compare to other pho place. Broth itself was just ordinary, nothing really special to it. The rice vermicelli came from the dry vermicelli, they don't give you "fresh noodle option" as other 11.75 pho places. Meat was half the size of other places as well. Afterwards, i was pretty disappointed. Maybe i was spoiled to pho places on Tully Road. I refuse to settle with ordinary pho places. I guess I won't be back. read more

When you first walk into the restaurant the interior is BEAUTIFUL. All of the colors coordinate with their logo and the chandeliers are adorable! I came with a group of 6 people and all of our orders came out quickly along with delicious boba drinks!! The proportions are large as my friends and I had trouble finishing regular bowls of pho! Love this place! Everytime I've been there the service has been outstanding! Zero complaints. Food is amazing and always comes out hot! The employees know my order and have it ready shortly after Arrive. One time they added fried onions in my friends pho which he didn't want (new server), they immediately saw this and apologized and made a new one. Mistakes are going to happen and we were not upset or angry about it at all, the amazing part was when they came to check on us after it was brought out they saw that it wasn't right and immediately corrected it! It is really clean. I love the bright and modern interior. We ordered a pho (with brisket and round steak) and a vermicelli (with bbq pork and egg roll). The pho soup base is on the lighter end, not a lot of complex flavors but overall good. The noodles were good, too, and didn't have a powdery taste to them. The portion was not bad. The vermicelli was really good, both in flavor and portion. The egg roll, however, had a funky smell to it. Service was fast. The overall experience was delightful.
