Omg! These are my new favorite noodles. I love soup and noodles in general and had a craving since it was cold so I decided to try Pho 99 for lunch. I ordered them to go and had to reheat at work, but it was still amazing. The hostess was so sweet and accommodating. I can't wait to dine in.

This is a hidden gem on Jacksonville's westside. I love good Vietnamese food and Pho 99 is wonderful! I really enjoy their spring rolls. I have ordered them multiple times and they are always very fresh, hot and well filled. I have gotten the pho many times and it is great. My favorite broth is 30 miles away so when I want to be near the house and want some soul satisfying pho, Pho 99 is my go-to. My nephew loves it. He is always very happy to come here. Their prices are super reasonable as well. The service is always great, attentive but not over-bearing. The restaurant is a good size and isn't crazy busy but steady each time I have gone. Sometimes on a quieter day, the family will have cartoons playing for the kids, and I am perfectly fine with that! I like knowing I am going to a family owned business. I will continue to return.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!! Best Vietnamese cuisine in Jacksonville in my opinion. And not just good food but good prices too!! This will be my number one go to from now on!!

Great spot for Vietnamese cuisine. Really good service with friendly staff and owners. I regularly order the spring rolls as an appetizer and the chicken soup/pho. The last time I came here, my husband tried their yellow curry. It was pretty good but definitely not the best curry, lacking flavor. But I would recommend any of their soups/pho. They also have boba, pretty standard flavors and they're very tasty. They have tons to explore on their menu outside of pho. They are easy to find since they are located right off of Lane Ave and they have ample parking.

Upon entering the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by friendly staff who promptly escorted us to our table. The ambiance was fairly standard. The menu offerings were uncomplicated and affordably priced. Our server demonstrated exceptional patience and provided excellent recommendations. I opted for the tom yum soup, which was served with shrimp and mushrooms, and found the broth to be expertly balanced in terms of hot and sour flavors. The grilled pork with rice was also noteworthy, with the pork being seasoned to perfection. My son's beef pho received favorable reviews, with the bowl being quickly emptied. Overall, our dining experience was superb, and we will certainly return.

Pho was good but it was not as temperature hot as it should have been . The summer roll was good but the meat was a little dry. One big issue I have is they want cash an if you use a card it is 3% more . I have not seen this in any other restaurant. The restaurant an rest rooms were very clean. The other issue I had is that they prep some of the fresh vegetables on the bar

This was the third place on our list of pho places to try in jax. Went with the bun bo hue and my wife had the beef pho with brisket, steak and flank. Server was super nice and friendly. We didnt get much of the fresh herbs and bean sprout for our soups but at least they had it. The broth for BBH was good and the ham and brisket were alright. I didnt get the ham hock in the soup this time so maybe they ran out. The beef pho was also decent. Overall, I'd say this was an average BBH and pho experience. We may consider coming back another time to try some other menu items such as the com thit nuong or mi xiao options. Great service though.

    * Price: reasonable. $5 for rolls, $12 appetizer salads, $12-14 bowl of soups. * Ambiance: very spacious and clean. * Location: very easy to find. Large parking space. * Meals: authentic vietnamese food. *Service: good service. The owner is very friendly. This is the same Pho 99 in Blanding Avenue. The owner closed her business last year and re-opened at a new location. Since they are just reopened, staff is new and perhaps some unintentional mistakes with their services. We had lotus salad, grilled beef rolls, spicy beef soups, vermicelli with grilled meats, and pho. Everything is very tasty and authentic. Their menu is large with Vietnamese, Chinese, and Thai dishes. This neighborhood does not have many Asian restaurants. So, we are very happy that they reopen this restaurant and hope they will continue to thrive!

Food is good. It's a big place and it was empty in the afternoon when we went. Maybe it's not in the right location. My first time trying Bun Bo Hue and I felt like it's not earthy or super flavorful for me. It's nice that they didn't serve us any pork and gave us option. (For people that don't eat pork)

This is the old Pho 99. Is it he same business new location?
    David Wiles K.

I'm not sure if this is the same as the Pho 99 that used to be in the strip mall north of the corner of Blanding and 134. Doesn't really seem the same. The old one with the same name was probably a 4 or 5 with fantastic service and quality soup. I've been here twice now, and considering it's the only option in the area after Yummy Pho and Pho 77777 both shut down, it's not completely horrible. In our first visit, we had a glitch with seating ourselves then having to hunt down menus 15 minutes later. Out second time, the service was much better. But the basil was missing and the meat was a little skimpy. The place is clean and it's "good enough," but if I've got time, I'll probably still swing down to Pho Saigon by the mall for better flavor. And if I have a lot of time, I'd rather go to Pho Today or Bowl of Pho in Southside.

I stopped here around 2 PM and there was no one inside. Obviously on Saturday around this time most people are at brunch, so I took great advantage of the fact that I would be able to have the restaurant to myself. The service was very friendly and nice. I ordered the Pho Bo with cooked beef. It came out less than 10 minutes later. This literally hit the spot for my full day of hanging out at the museum earlier and shopping ahead. The pho was very flavorful and they give you a hearty portion - definitely enough for leftovers. Even though it was so hot that I burnt my tongue, I could not stop slurping the delicious broth. The only thing I did not like about this dish was the fact that there was not enough meat. I do see that on the menu. There's a surcharge for extra meat in the soup, but I do feel like they were a little stingy on the tasty beef in my dish. The sprouts, basil, and jalapeños were fresh and they gave a good portion to add in. Overall, based on the delicious pho and great price I will be back for another visit.

The service was prompt and exceptionally courteous. To begin, I ordered my absolute favorite, an Iced Thai Tea, which was prepared to perfection rich, smooth, and deeply satisfying. For my main course, I selected the P1 Pho Special (Bún bò Huế). When the steaming bowl arrived, it was a lavish, extraordinarily generous masterpiece brimming with steak, flank, tendon, tripe, and beef meatballs. Every single element was tender, incredibly rich, and cooked to absolute perfection. It made for a delightfully hearty and comforting luncheon that exceeded every expectation! We had a gang meet up that included Goldie, Jimmy, Lea, Loan and myself. We get together each month to try a new restaurant, and of course, to enjoy each other's company. It's been a while since I had a Vietnamese meal and when I go, I'm always stuck on ordering something of the Vermicelli variety. Yep! That's what I did on this day. First off, I have to say that quality of the fresh veggies - lettuce, carrots, cucumber, etc., along with peanuts, were the best in freshness status I've ever seen in just about any restaurant. Between the appearance and the taste, they stand alone in this category. I wasn't worried about having the rolls with this meal, so I chose the B1a - grilled shrimp and pork. As a full bowl, the appearance and quality of the toppings over the noodles was stellar. The pork was chewy, but not in the range of the impossible to deal with. Just something that people who have difficulty chewing might wish to be aware of. There were three large pieces of shrimp that were tasty but a tad overcooked - not enough in any way to drop my score. With the fish sauce mixed, along with the bowl, it turned out to be a fantastic meal! Loan recommended we visit Q-Cup Boba Tea and it was totally worth visit! I will say that Loan's, Goldie's, jimmy's and Lea's offerings looked pretty amazing as well. The sub sandwich and beef cuts on Jimmy's meal looked superb! May have to try that one someday. I'll let them tell you about their meal in their reviews. This is a fantastic ma and pa shop. It's basic in appearance, not the most highly rated in decor. But I'm sure anyone who visits will be happy when they leave. Our server was great - took awesome care of us. I encourage readers to put this restaurant on their bookmarks list! Recommend: HIGH

We ordered the Twice Fried Korean Wings, Bonchon, and Chili Crisp Cucumbers to share. The wings were delicious with the best crunch, almost like candied chicken wings. My only complaint is I expected more heat from the gochujang. The Bonchon is essentially a flight of pickled sides: sweet pickled cucumbers, sweet pickled carrots and daikon (similar to what you'd find on a Vietnamese banh mi), and a well-fermented kimchi with mild heat and great flavor. We also ordered the Hong Kong Wonton Soup, and thought we ordered "Chow Fun" noodles -- but "Chow Faan" is actually their fried rice dish. Word of caution: if you want their take on Chow Fun noodles, order the "Beef Haw Fun" instead. The star of the show was the Hong Kong Wonton Soup -- the broth was authentically Asian, distinctly different from a classic French-style broth built on onion, celery, and carrot mirepoix. It was so good we ordered another one to go and took it to our mom to enjoy. We will definitely be going back to try some of their other dishes.
