Always coming back to this even it's s a long drive so worth it! The beef incredibly tender and flavorful. The serving size was excellent, and the unlimited noodle refills are a huge plus they recently updated their menu. The broth was rich, delicious, and full of flavor. Great food, great value plus the owner is really friendly and helpful!

I'm obsessed with this place the employees are all so kind and always with a smile on their face honestly all their food is amazing but my top ones would probably be their shrimp , beef & broccoli plate , their own made lomo Saltado ( yes you read that right ) the lemongrass chicken plate & last but never least their #1 PHO with unlimited noodles on the side incase your still a tad hungry thanks to everyone for always being so humble and kind!!

Whenever in the area, we always come here especially during the cold and rainy seasons. I haven't been in a while so I was very surprised to see they've updated the entire restaurant. It looks very clean, simple but very pleasing to the eyes. We always get a big bowl of soup which I can never finish so I take home half of it. Broth is very flavorful and delicious. Meat is tender. Veggies are fresh. Service is fast. Free parking in the back of the restaurant.

Update; Their Prices went up, mostly $14+ and they've changed the look of their menu - no more pictures...and honestly, I don't like it. We love to eat out but I like to see pictures of the food because it helps me visualize and decide what I want to eat. Since their menu changed, it was so hard for me and my fam to decide - like we literaly took time because we were depending on the description on the menu, however, some of the dishes name were in vietnamese and that was even harder for non-vietnamese people like us. Also, while I was in the middle of eating my food, the customer on the next table walked over to me and asked what I was eating and she also told the server that it was so hard for her to choose because the menu was changed and that they also liked the ones with the pictures.... As for the service, it's the same - the staff here are always nice and helpful and the ambience, it the same as well, neat and clean. Food tasted great!

Cold night, perfect for a hot bowl of pho. This spot was conveniently on my way home from work, which made it an easy choice. There's a dedicated parking lot behind the restaurant--always a plus. The interior is huge, and the servers were very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the large bowl of Pho Dac Biet along with cha gio. The broth was clear, flavorful, and leaned slightly on the sweeter side, which I enjoyed. The egg rolls were tasty and nicely done as well. While nothing quite beats pho in the SGV, this place is definitely worth checking out if you're in the SFV.

It's been awhile since I have been back. Everything is new, even the menu!!! I ordered the Hu tieu chon... my 1st time having this....actually first time hearing about this so gave it a try. Omg, it was delish. The flavor of the sauce is soooo savory. The perfect mix for this dish. Definitely a must try!!!! I ordered my usual rice with lemongrass chicken and beef, and as always, still so good!!! My gf ordered the mi xao don and it was sooo goooood. This place never disappoint me. Although it's been so long since I have been back, the service and food is still amazing!!!

This was our go-to pho for the last decade, but over time, the quality waned and we transitioned to Pho So 1... BUT since the new ownership, the tables and menus have changed for the better, as well as the food! Pho Dac Biet was $12 and Goi Cuon was a whopping ~$7. The broth is now clearer and has more depth in flavor. Parents and I are a fan! However, the meat:noodle ratio kinda lacking; it could use more meat. The sauce for the goi cuon wasn't our fave and the rolls themselves weren't bad. On a Tuesday afternoon, we got seated immediately as there were only a handful of tables occupied. Service is relatively fast. Will pass on the goi cuon next time, but def coming back for the pho

I've been coming here for a long time, and it's been amazing to see how much they've improved and revamped everything over the years. The place looks great, and the quality has only gotten better. What really keeps us coming back, though, is the service. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and they truly make you feel valued every time you walk in. We always feel like VIPs here. Great food, great service, and great people--highly recommend!

Not worth eating here. The food is just bad, nothing can help it. There is no quality control too. I have not been here in a long time, and now I remember why.... The food is not good! And nothing has changed. The egg rolls were probably the best thing, and even then, it was mainly filler inside. The fish sauce is horrible! Who the heck made that?! Must be old as heck? Bad bad bad taste. Even adding lime and garlic chili couldn't really help it! Inside is spacious, and we went on a rainy day, it should have been packed! Nope, it was quite empty, why? We should had known and just walked back out, but we tried.... The pho broth was weak and not great, so I asked for nuoc beo which translates to water fat, the fat on top of the broth, all the flavor.. still not great. The meat was not cooked long enough, it was very hard and chewy. We ended up leaving most of the food and just calling it quits to go eat elsewhere.

We loved this place! It isn't our first time here, but it was our first time experiencing this restaurant with new owners. We confirmed that this pho 999 separated from the one in Van Nuys a few years ago. We got there at 6:30pm on Thursday and there were a few tables. Parking in the back is easy. It's kinda in a shady area but the service and the food is elite. Our server Tyson (Tai) was great! He checked on us multiple times. I ordered a seafood egg noodle soup with a clear chicken broth. It was delicious! I couldn't get over it. The broth was unmatched. The texture of the noodles were bouncy. And finally, plenty of protein! If that's not enough for you, their noodles are unlimited. We will definitely return. We love pho and have been on the hunt for amazing quality. This place checks off all the boxes.

This is my FAVORITE spot. Consistently great food every time. The pho broth is top tier, and the egg rolls are perfectly crunchy and full of flavor. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the space is clean and inviting. I've tried so many pho spots all over LA, and this is the one. The broth is clean and rich, and the noodles are always cooked to the perfect consistency.

We stopped by on a Tuesday for lunch, and nostalgia definitely did not disappoint. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal. The Jjolmyeon has always been our all-time favorite from the LA location, so ordering it was a no-brainer. And wow... it somehow tasted even better here! We also ordered the Yuk Kalguksu (육칼국수) and Gun Mandu (군만두), and everything hit the spot. The Yuk Kalguksu came with such a generous portion that I happily finished the noodles, enjoyed some of the rich, spicy broth, and still had enough soup and beef to box up for another meal. Talk about a bonus dinner! The mandu was perfectly crispy and paired so well with the refreshing, chewy jjolmyeon. For us, a restaurant earns a spot in our regular rotation only if it checks three boxes: delicious food, friendly service, and cleanliness. Hodori easily checks all three. In fact, I came back after work the very same day to pick up dinner for the family (because one visit clearly wasn't enough ). We ordered Galbi Ugeoji Haejangguk (갈비 우거지 해장국), Galbitang (갈비탕), Tteokbokki (떡볶이), Samgyetang (삼계탕), and Yukgaejang (육개장). I placed the order before leaving work, and by the time I arrived about 15 minutes later, everything was neatly packed and ready to go. As a working mom, finding a restaurant that serves delicious food, offers great service, and makes takeout this effortless feels like striking gold. It saves me time in the kitchen while keeping everyone's tummies full and happy. Safe to say, Hodori has officially earned a permanent spot on our takeout list.

The name immediately brought back memories of Koreatown, so naturally we had to see what they were all about. The place is clean, service was quick, and the menu had enough variety that everyone in the family could find something they wanted - which, if you have kids, is already a small victory. I know some people have commented that the prices are high, but honestly... what isn't expensive these days? Have you seen the price of groceries lately? Restaurants have rent, employees to pay, quality ingredients, utilities, etc., so I'm not expecting 1995 prices in 2026. If the food is good and we leave happy, I'm good. We ordered a few soups, kimchi fried rice, and tonkatsu, and everything came out pretty quickly. It was a hearty meal and we definitely didn't leave disappointed. And here's the real selling point for tired parents: they have TWO large screens. One plays Disney and the other has sports. Brilliant. Everyone gets what they want, and Mom and Dad can actually finish a meal while it's still hot. That alone deserves bonus points. They're also connected to a boba shop next door, which we didn't get a chance to check out this time. But we'll definitely be trying it on our next visit. Overall, a nice addition to the neighborhood. Good food, quick service, and Disney + sports to keep the entire family happy. Honestly, that's a win in my book.

It was delicious on its own, but I asked for Thousand Island dressing on the side so I could dip the sandwich into it and that combination was heaven. The tangy, creamy dressing with the rich pastrami took it to another level! You can also get the classic hot pastrami if that's more your style. The Club Sandwich was also really good. This is more of a classic, straightforward deli sandwich and it's hard to go wrong with it when you're craving something familiar. But the biggest surprise for me was actually the cabbage coup. I think this place is worth a visit if you're in Northridge and craving a classic deli meal. I'm definitely excited to go back and try out some other things on the menu.

Tl;dr: if you're curious, don't waste your time, bafang is open 5min away Preface: I KNOW it's mall food, but for a restaurant that continuously pops up as #1 on Yelp whenever I search for food around the northridge/chatsworth area, I'm going to treat it as if it were a #1 spot. Beef noodle soup: to be very blunt, this was quite flavorless. The beef was dry as bones and looked like it was sliced with a mandoline. The noodles seemed undercooked and it felt like I was eating al dente spaghetti noodles. I got a medium spice level which didn't even seem that spicy, just a lot of cough inducing chili oil with no burn. Pan fried dumplings were ok. It honestly tasted like it was deep fried and not pan fried. Unsweetened black tea: hands down the best of the 3 things in the combo, which is quite telling. Honestly you get a decent amount of food for $15. But to constantly take the top 5 for recommended on Yelp in this area and waste my time to even look at it, it definitely doesn't belong remotely close to top 10.
