Came here for a solo dinner on a Friday night. Was seated quickly and order taken got my usual order and dressed my vinegar onions. Dinosaur Pho is my favorite one to get every time. Just look at the delicious broth and the meat! They always have good music playing which I love. They are always so busy when I come and it's just conversation with good food !

We had dinner at Pho & Grill yesterday. Even though the restaurant was already full inside, we were seated right after arriving and were lucky to get the last available table. We ordered the #32 House Special Pho in both the regular size ($16.50) and extra-large size ($18.99). The portions were generous, the broth was rich and delicious, and the meats were very tender. We also tried the Bun Bo Hue - House Beef Vermicelli Soup ($17). It was very tasty with a mild level of spice. I had never tried this type of Vietnamese vermicelli soup before, and it was a pleasant surprise. The meat was tender and the broth was very flavorful. For drink, we had Che Ba Mau - The 3 Color Beans ($6), which was also good. The service was very friendly and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and will certainly visit again

After a long, windy afternoon at Puddingstone Lake / Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park, we were craving something hot and comforting. A quick search led us to Pho and Grill, and it turned out to be a great find. When we arrived, the place was packed with only one table left near the back. We grabbed it quickly and were promptly given water and menus. Despite the busy dining room, service was efficient and the food came out in a reasonable time. We ordered: 2 Regular + 1 XL House Pho - Great The regular bowl was already as big as what some places call a "super bowl." The XL portion was enormous -- easily the largest pho bowl I've seen in Southern California. The broth was flavorful, and the meats were super tender and perfectly cooked. Every bite was satisfying. 1 Regular Bun Bo Hue (mild) - Good A nicely balanced bowl with the same tender meats as the pho. The broth had that classic tangy, fish-sauce-forward flavor that makes Bun Bo Hue so appetizing. 3 Color Drink - OK Refreshing but nothing particularly standout. Overall, the portion size, meat tenderness, and flavorful broth easily earn this place 5 stars. It's no surprise the restaurant stays busy -- tables filled almost immediately after people left. We'll definitely return and bring friends next time to share the experience.

Popular spot here in San Dimas; next to TJ Maxx and Dollar Tree. It can get busy at times but came here around 4 on a Saturday with no wait. Plenty of parking available. Tentative staff and quick to order. We had the: Rice vermicelli with grilled pork and egg rolls - highly recommend. Their grilled pork is amazing; super flavorful. It's good with their rice dish as well. Rib Rye Steak - Sizzling plate - you'll get all the attention when this dish comes out sizzling. This is pair with a big plate of white rice. Not much flavor on the steak other than butter. There's sriracha on the table you can use. It'll be nice if there's some pickled veggies that you can pair with the steak. Overall, good experience and food.

Pho & Grill is a really great Vietnamese restaurant, complete with authentic tasting pho, banh mi, and com sung (charbroiled rice dish). You can't go wrong with any of the dishes here. Make sure to get here early as the line can sometimes get long. The dining area is spacious with booths lining the wall and is clean. The servers are fast and attentive.

When they say it's XL, IT'S EXTRA LARGE. A big backs dream. Unlike some other places who say it and don't live up to the name. For $18.5 the amount of food that you get is absolutely insane. I usually get the meat ball and rare meat but today I tried the dac biet (special) with everything. Next time I'll probably try their big rib pho.

Where do I begin, from the cleanliness of this restaurant to the yummy food and AMAZING customer service... There is tons of free parking in the parking lot and they are next to the Dollar Tree Store.. I eat a lot of PHO but the quality and quantity that is given here, other places need to step up now... I got the regular size PHO and still had tons of leftovers.. Can't wait to go back and try other items off of their menu!!!

This little hole in the wall has great pho. I ordered #33 Rib eye pho and my wife got #36 Brisket and rib eye pho. We ordered the regular size but quickly realized the regular size is good enough for two unless you are extremely hungry. Meats were tensor and the broth was delicious. Large meat portions and plenty of noodles to satisfy your pho craving. Comes with all the fixings. Wait staff were extremely attentive and soup was served piping hot within minutes of ordering. Looks like this place gets busy but definitely worth it. We will keep this one in our bookmark and will visit again when we are in the area.

You will crave this place in your sleep day in and day out. The flavor is always the same and if there is ever a wait it's no longer than 2 or 3 mins. I love pho and this place feels my need every time I come. It's clean and everyone is so nice. The bowl sizes are large and extra large. They give you ice water without you asking the moment you sit down. They have complementary iced lemon tea, jello and lollipops. The price is also really nice. You stay full for so long. Came to this spot with a coworker and the pho was delicious! Since moving away from the SGV area, it's been hard to find a good pho spot. I was pretty hesitant to eat here since I'm not familiar with the area but my coworker who was originally from SGV said that Pho & Grill is easily his go-to spot for lunch when he's craving a banh mi sandwich or pho. Oh boy was he right! I ordered the pho tai and the flavor of the broth was so nice. The portion size is generous here and you get a lot of noodles and meat! My friend brought me here for the first time, and I had to come back again--this time with another friend and my kids. Everything is amazing! I love their Bun Bo Huy! There's so much meat in there and the broth is so flavorful with a kick from their special chili sauce. The egg rolls are packed with ingredients those are my two favorites at this restaurant. The staff is pretty quick at taking the order and the food comes out relatively quick. This is my first time here and so far so good. The place is packed with people which is always a good sign. There is an amazing pho smell when you walk in. We came with a group of 11 and they quickly seated us. The service is amazing. We ordered a variety of food and it was all delicious. I had their rare beef and it was tasty and filling. Craving for some hot soup and noodles, looked up on Yelp and found this amazing place- Pho & Grill. Very welcoming atmosphere. We arrived one hour before closing time and the restaurant was fully packed. Luckily there was one table left. The wait time was short and soon we got our house pho and house sandwich. They are so flavorful and delicious, good portion of the meat but the broth was a bit too salty for me. The Bahn Mi bread is so crunchy, the pork is well marinated and juicy, cucumber and carrots are fresh, EVERYTHING is just perfect!! So glad we found this delicious place, highly recommended if you are in that area :) read more

One of my favorite pho places in the area! The food is always on point no matter what I get. The restaurant has a lot of seating so I never have to wait long. The inside is your typical pho restaurant decor but it's clean and bright so it's nicer than most. I always get their House pho (medium) and the portions are already so filling and great for the price ($16.5). It is definitely shareable too. My boyfriend always get their pork Bahn mi. It takes awhile to get made since it is grilled but it is definitely worth the wait. Our waiter was very kind and even offered to give us some free dessert today. We got the flan. It was not bad. Met up with my sister who already ordered ahead from the appetizer side of the menu #1. Spring rolls / Gỏi cuốn ($7) - 3 stars #2. Egg rolls / Chả giò ($10) - 3 stars #3. Fried Tofu / Đậu hủ chiên ($11) - 3.5 stars #12. Fried dumplings ($9) - 4 stars We also added the XL House Pho ($18.50) - 3 stars and House Sandwich for my son - 4 stars. Service was slow and can definitely be improved. We had to check on our orders a few times. The restaurant has a casual, family style vibe. Restrooms are gender neutral. Parking can be a bit hard to find because the restaurant is located in the plaza with many other businesses. read more

Established in 2018.

Our Vietnamese family immigrated to the United States in 2002. We opened a fast food restaurant, self-inventing and selling dishes similar to Panda Express, such as orange chicken, chow mein, and fried rice. We tried our best to make a living and put our kids in school. Eventually, we moved to San Dimas, after having sold our restaurant, and we opened a pho restaurant in town. We thought that we should make this town our home, and so we present to you our culture's food! Thank you for your patronage!

While this often signals unwelcome adjustment for patrons accustomed to the manner in which an established restaurant's dishes are prepared, changes in recipes and/or ingredients being used, or just a plain old difference in overall taste or presentation, I'm happy to observe that, as a customer for decades, this wonderful little gem of a restaurant has maintained the key characteristics - both in food quality and service - that made our family fans so long ago. There have been some recent additions to the menu, in both dish selection and beverage variety, which actually align the restaurant better with contemporary tastes and dining trends. Traditionalists need not fear, however, as the old menu standards still remain and are as good as ever. (In fact, I didn't realize there had actually been a change in ownership until I directly asked our server after not seeing some of the usual staff over the last couple of visits; otherwise, I wouldn't have known.) In terms of ambiance, new booths were recently added (and are more comfortable), but the overall decor remains basically the same. Similarly, the service continues to be on point with dishes prepared upon order and delivered quickly, drinks refilled/refreshed regularly, and vacated tables cleared and cleaned in a timely manner. In summation, the Chopsticks House is as good as ever - and with a recently expanded menu, too. Portions are extremely generous, and they do not skimp on the proteins or quality of ingredients. Additionally, the popular lunch specials remain and remain a great value for early afternoon diners.

And all of the items were good The spicy wontons isnt that spicy but had a lil kick to it and the sauce is good. The cucumbers is similar to the dtf one but just with thicker slices. Beef rolls meat could be more marinated but not bad. Crispy pot stickers were crisping. Definitely come early because theres always a long wait.

The friend ice cream is a little uneven. One side, the bread was thin but the other side was super thick and hard to eat. It's perfectly crisp though, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The bowl for the ice cream was really cute but I think a different bowl might be better because it was a little hard to eat without flinging it around. I was only in town to take a test nearby, but if I'm ever back in the area, I would 100% return and try the other dishes.

Some items, Breaded Shrimp ($7.95), Smoky Seared Ahi Tuna ($20,95), and Ocean House Halibut ($33.95) were very tasty, but the Ahi Tuna Grilled, served rare ($18.95), Clam Chowder ($9.95), and Seafood Bisque ($10.95) were only okay. I mentioned an unusual taste, not bad, but the flavors of the chowder and the bisque were different than I've had at other seafood restaurants. I tried their Thai Iced Tea ($5.25) which was good. Overall, we felt that this dinner experience could have been better, but I would be willing to pay them a second visit and try some different menu items.

Parking is simple but busy. There's a side lot for customers; sign says, "2 Hour Parking." Staff is courteous, no-nonsense, and diligent. Staff worked hard. Staff quickly answered all my questions. My coffee took about three minutes. Good time. As mentioned, I ordered the Nitro Cold Brew ($9 - Large - 24oz). The coffee is very standard. It tastes exactly like any imagined cold brew coffee. Personally, the roast tasted a little burnt, but it's a common, familiar coffee flavor. The strength was weak for a nitro, but the HUGE SIZE and affordability balances it all out. This is a functional, budget drink. On ambiance, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) is a HUGE success. There's a lot of utility. The location has a self-serve water station, public internet with no password, stacked high chairs for children, two game corners (ex: Chess, Giant Connect 4, Giant Jenga, Uno Cards, Etc), and about one available electrical outlet. I also appreciated the retro, upbeat music and 1930s movie decor. In addition, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) has plenty of seating. This pho restaurant is very good. I love the flavors and tastes of pho broth and sliced beef. The portions of noodles, broth, beef, and vegetables are just the right amount, especially when the regular size is more than enough to be full from. My top selection at this place is its pho dac biet. Also, if you guys haven't tried this, there is a secret menu or request for egg-drop soup. It is a clean crack of an egg with its whole yolk and albumin-white into a hot pho broth. It will be cooked by its boiled temperature--this, a side of egg-drop soup is traditionally eaten/drank as a complement to eating pho. Some people eat or swallow the yolk and egg white, however, the way how I eat it is to crush the egg with my spoon and let the egg mix with the pho broth to become an egg-pho soup. Com tam is also delicious. It is broken rice in Vietnamese. A lot of pho restaurants use regular steamed rice to represent their com tam, however, an authentic Vietnamese restaurant uses the actual broken rice. This restaurant promises com tam's genuinity. Their pork chop com tam is my favorite rice dish. Their complementary fish sauce for com tam goes well with the overall sweet and tangy flavors. This is a very good southern style pho. I have not tried bun bo hue, Hue's region of spicy vermicille soup. I will visit the place again in the future and see how their food crafts of other regions' cuisines compare to their southern delicacies. read more

I have tried a million pho places and that shows how much I love and cherish pho. I tried this place because it was on the way from home. It had great reviews already so I gave it a shot with my wife and daughter. I think this is one of the best pho I have ever had. The noodle is so chewy and tastes so fresh. The meat is soft and melts in your mouth. My wife usually does not say pho is good and says all pho places are the same but this time she said it's so good about 10 times. They are just around the block from me. There's not a lot of Asian food around the San Dimas area, so it's good to have a place like this in the area. Pho is good for the area it's in and the portions are huge. They give a ton of meat even when you order the regular sized Pho. The Bun Bo Hue is pretty good too, but make sure you ask them to make the soup extra hot(temperature) because the noodles that they pour the soup over is cold so it comes out Luke warm. Pho & Grill is a hidden gem away from the Strip that locals absolutely love. The pho broth is exceptional -- deeply aromatic with hints of cinnamon, ginger, and roasted onion. Pho & Grill has become our go to spot for the best Pho in our area. The Pho noodle soups are delicious and have the best tasting broth. The Bah-mi sandwiches are fresh tasting and the bread has a great crispy crust with a super soft inside, like it should be. I'm not much of a Thai tea person, but the rest of our family really loves them from here. Overall, it may not be the fanciest spot, but it is very clean inside, service is fast and accommodating and the food is great. Don't forget to pay in cash for a discount !! read more

I've been coming to Pho & Grill for a while, but lately the quality has been slipping. The broth used to be rich and flavorful, but it's been going downhill and tasting more watered down on recent visits. The noodles are also often overcooked, which makes them rubbery instead of tender. On the positive side, the staff is friendly and the place is clean, but the food just isn't as consistent as it used to be. The food was worth the price. I ordered the House Pho XL, and despite being warned by my friends and the waiter that the XL was really big, I didn't believe them and ordered anyway. I really should have, because when the waitress brought my food, I was shocked at how big the bowl of pho was. I usually order pho in XL in other pho restaurants, and their XL bowls are Pho & Grill's regular size. I could not finish my meal tonight, so I paid $18.50 for dinner AND my lunch tomorrow. read more

We got two brisket pho, shrimp fried rice, shrimp pho with thai spices, and honey walnut shrimp. The brisket pho were 10/10 and have lots of meat, definitely recommend! Shrimp fried rice was brought out freshly made and had lots of shrimp. Walnut shrimp was a great shareable plate, lots of shrimp and broccoli. This place does not skimp out on the meat. Staff is friendly and gives out a lot of water and is super quick to provide updates. Don't miss out on this gem in San Dimas! read more
