The portion size was just right, plenty of noodles and a generous amount of meat without feeling overwhelming. It was filling and satisfying overall. As for the flavor, the broth leaned a bit too salty for my taste. The depth was there, but the saltiness slightly overpowered the balance I usually look for in pho. The location felt a little sketchy, so if you're driving, I wouldn't leave anything visible in your car, just something to be mindful of. I believe this restaurant shares ownership with The Boat and Pho Bac Sup restaurant, which is interesting given their reputation in the local pho scene.

Definitely the best of the Pho Bac locations in Seattle! The store is big and open with bright light shining through the windows. There's a decent amount of parking, compared to the International District location. They have clean gender neutral bathrooms. They are super efficient with placing and fulfilling orders - our pho came out within 5 minutes of ordering! The pho ga (chicken pho) was soooo delicious! FYI it's made with beef broth. Compared to typical boiled chicken at other pho places, this chicken is grilled so it added extra flavor to the broth. It's also super tender and juicy compared to the typical dry boiled chicken at other places. This is one of the best bowls of pho I've had, tied with the veggie pho I had at the International District location. I definitely want to come back and try the veggie pho at this location!

If a Vietnamese restaurant constantly has people coming in and out to eat their stuff, you know the food's gonna be fresh and good for the stomach! This is one of those places, and I'm happy that it's not too much of a drive either. I came here with my sis on a Tuesday noon around 11:30pm for some lunch, and got seated quickly to a spacious seating area with tons of tables for mostly groups of up to 4 people. Vietnamese music was blasting from the speakers but not at an unbearably loud volume, and I Shazamed a couple of them because they sounded really good. That being said, it gets noisy in here the more people there are since sound vibrates around the inside. Their menu has many choices for pho, though prices are different only depending on whether you get a regular or large bowl. They also have appetizers, vermicelli noodle bowls (bun), extra add-ons and drinks. I got their large pho tai nam gan sach (pho with rare steak, brisket, tendon and tripe), while my sis got their regular pho tai bo vien (pho with rare steak and meatballs). Pho's usually standard, though I liked this one a lot since their broth is fresh and homely, the noodles were cooked all the way through, and the food came out really fast. We also split an order of cha gio (fried eggrolls), which comes with only 2 of them though both are long pieces. These were piping hot and crispy on the outside. This place has become one of my favorite spots to get pho. This place has parking on the side of the building but it's pretty limited, and street parking a little farther ahead may be difficult to get through. I'd still brave it since the food here's plain and simple while also keeping you full.

I actually decided last minute that I was going to hop off the link light rail train to have lunch with my daughter at Mt Baker station. Pho Bac is actually the closest restaurant because I didn't want to wander too far away from the train station. Anyway, the restaurant itself is cool. It's spacious seating with clean interior. You must be OK with Vietnamese music blasting in the background because you're eating at a Vietnamese restaurant... after all. The waiter was prompt with my simple order of raw beef Pho and spring rolls. Additionally, I ordered one thing of fried egg rolls for my daughter because she loves fried egg rolls. Everything was good and fresh. 10/10 recommend.

First- this is one of our go-to pho spots in the neighborhood, it's usually open when our other spots are not and it's one of the best. I've been seeing some negative reviews about service and I disagree - they are busy, they are focused, and the food comes out really fast. Prices haven't gone up too much despite the rising costs of protein and they list slightly lower prices if you pay with cash. They made a big upgrade to the interior a couple years back and while I miss the local charm of the old dining area the current space is spacious, clean, and modern

There's street parking and some spots right next to the building. Ordering is quick and easy and they have a bunch of meat combos for pho for choose from. Loved their broth and amount of meat was pretty good too Large #10 with brisket, fatty brisket, and tendon: good amount of meat, tasty broth, tender tendon. Overall a solid bowl of pho and I'd come here again! I just wish they had a choice of slightly wider rice noodles, I think that would be AMAZING with their meat and broth.

I prefer this pho bac it's like a sister store as it's owned by relatives of the main one on Jackson. However it's always busy when I go and the broth is really good! They always have parking and two unique soups to this location. One is a stir fried chicken and the other is a spicy beef belly. My go to pho spot in Seattle.

They passed the broth test, but I feel like they don't put enough meat. I do like that they have the onions w/vinegar. They are busy so they have a good customer base. If they just condensed their menu and added more meats to the bowls they would get a 5 star out of me.

Was a recommend stop by a local friend while in town and so glad we did!! The food we extremely delicious. The service was quick and the menu isn't too overwhelming. I tried the dry noodle with beef broth and beef and it had great flavor! We also had a side of the egg rolls which came out great. Very happy with it. My husband did get the beef rib which was slightly inconvenience to eat since the meat doesn't fall off the bone.

One of my favorite places to get pho. They sell Viet coffee from hello em. They also have huge spring rolls here. Very large seating area, and fast service. I highly recommend.

Delicious pho on a cold day, and the portion sizes are big! The price difference between the small and large is less than $1, so I ordered the large, and it was huge! The broth is very flavorful and I'm glad I ordered the large size, as there were so many noodles and it was filling. I was there on a Friday night and it was busy, but there were still plenty of space available for guests. The staff were very friendly and attentive and I didn't have to wait long for my food. I'm looking forward to coming back on another cold day!

Fast service and quick servers; and OMG, the "small" Pho was soooo big (the large must be extra large). The beef broth was very hot and my order came with all the fixings Had to try both the Spring rolls & Vietnamese egg rolls The place was bustling with people waiting patiently for a table (the food is worth the wait), plus servers were cleaning up as soon as people left their table - it's a clean place with delicious and affordable dishes

Service is exceptionally fast and was sat immediately - the staff are very kind. I did not take a picture of it but I ordered a vermicelli bowl with grilled pork and shrimp fresh rolls to go after my visit. They were both very flavorful and I recommend anything off their menu - it's delicious and worth the effort to dine in but not the right place if you want to chit chat and dilly dally. There's plenty of parking outside in the strip mall which shares a lot with QFC. Each visit left me feeling like I had wasted both my time and money. I've had both the Pho Dac Biet and Pho Saté, and each broth fell short for different reasons. The noodles were oddly overcooked and clumped together in both bowls. While the presentation is appealing, the flavors lack depth and both dishes were noticeably oily. The meat portions were sparse, and the pricing does not justify the quality or quantity of the food. There are simply too many better pho options in the area at this price point.

Although the food is good, I can't confidently say I'll be back. Food & drink: (4/5) We had a great start with the calamari with salted egg yolk sauce. The squid was very easy to chew through with almost zero resistance and the batter was incredibly light and crispy. The sauce was pretty light on the salted egg yolk flavor. I found that if the menu hadn't said so, I wouldn't have known it was anything other than a spicy mayo. For our entrees, I got the BBH and my partner got the banh hoi platter. The BBH is definitely one of their must try items. The broth was extremely flavorful and the meat was sooo tender. I just with they included shredded banana blossom since that's a pretty essential topping to have on BBH. It does also have more meat to noodle ratio than most BBHs I've had, so that's something I would keep in mind before ordering. My partner thought the banh hoi platter was a bit disappointing. He said the banh was dried out and the proteins such as the shrimp on sugarcane were a bit bland. He also said he wished they included scallion oil. To wash it all down, I got a kumquat jasmine tea. It definitely ran on the sweeter side but was no issue since I just poured some of my water in it to dilute the drink. Service: (5/5) Outstanding service! We were served by two different people and they were both incredible throughout our entire dinner. Other notes: In most cases, I would leave a review like this at four stars. I'm subtracting one star because I believe there are some management issues based off what I observed just from sitting in. For the most part this place seems to be severely understaffed. When we came to dinner, it was a full house with a line forming but they only had two servers running the entire floor, including those eating outside. To say they looked stressed is an understatement. As we were paying, they thanked us for being kind customers in a way that made it seem like they realllyyy needed some kindness.

The custard duck egg is an excellent starter, with a rich, savory broth that delivers a deep, yolky umami punch. The rau ram oil and herb is such a creative twist that adds the perfect herbal dimension. The radicchio pudding was light and offered a clean, almost grassy brightness without being overwhelming in flavors. Great option for any vegans at the table. The wagyu beef tallow fries were some of the best fries I've ever had. Ultra-crispy, perfectly thick-cut, and deeply flavorful with beef notes shining through, without being too heavy. Like many of the dishes here, perfectly balanced in flavor. The grilled eggplant with whipped tofu and crispy sun chokes was another standout. The tofu whip was so smooth and should be considered a worthy sub for mayo. The eggplant was soft, creamy, and perfectly charred. The garlic rice was incredibly savory and maybe my favorite version of it yet. Packed with the perfect depth of garlicky flavor and seasoning. Finally for dessert - I thought the durian fruit cup was decent, it's great for durian lovers but next time I will be back to try their other desserts. The hollow bread is a must-try. It's fried to perfection, the inside is steamy and the butter it comes with is perfect but the bread alone is so good that it doesn't need it. The perfect touch of roasted sesame. Slightly sweet, it's a delight in textures and perfect in cold weather. The oyster on half shell in happy hour is also a great standard oyster, very fresh, with a nuanced Viet twist in the sauces. Vegetable dip is pretty standard and also delicious, great if you're looking for a healthy starter. Coffee rubbed ribs were fantastic as well and an incredible deal for the size. Very savory, a little sticky sweet, but not too much. Service was also friendly and the food came out in a reasonable time. The service started off great, however, the server disappeared on us mid-meal and was hard to get refills on water and any sort of service towards the end. That put a bitter taste in our mouths. So, not sure if we'll be back
