As someone who's grown up surrounded by vietnamese food, it's hard competition. This place has decent vietnamese food, it's a nice fusion restaurant.

NGL, my expectations for pho in Ocean City were minimal at best, but HOLY COW! This was some of the best pho I've ever had (and we live in DC). Broth was rich and flavorful, full-bodied without too much salt. My one comment would be to add a little more meat, but otherwise, a solid option!

One of my favorite places in town. I work right nearby so I typically go in before work. It's a great experience even by myself and the food comes out quick. Obviously have to get the Pho since it's in the name. You will not be disappointed and will want to drink straight from the bowl like me.

Nice! I wanted soup on a very cold night so I and the princess agreed on PHO so open up the trusty yelp app and sure enough found "1" pho place in the whole strip. The friendly staff is not busy since nobody's in town haha. I ordered a combination of pho and spring rolls for Me and the little one .good size pho bowl. The broth is tasty so is the spring roll a bit skinny but at least it tasted good. Good find especially if you like pho. Recommend this place. So

Price for portion is off here- the regular pho's are what other restaurants classify as small size, the spring rolls are small for the price (see photo, utensils for size comparison). There was a decent amount of meat in my meatball pho but my husband's brisket was sparse. Service is no-frill, to the point.

We stomped into this place by chance since this is the only Pho place in ocean city Maryland. This is our first and will be our last here. Start from our arrival, the host is polite however she was a little bit one a harsh side. We were not sure what we did wrong- maybe because we came in with a baby? Second on the food, we ordered one Vietnamese coffee, two Bowls of pho and a fried rice. The broths of pho is decent however it was a bit salty and with barely got any meat. We have had phos many times before and this place gave the least amount of meat for the hefty price tag of each bowl ( the small side costs about 15 dollars). To make things worst, its Vietnamese coffee was very diluted with barely any coffee for 7 dollars!!!. The fried rice was salty as well. Overall, this is the worst pho place we have ever had. We do not mind to paying the higher price is food tastes good and have decent of quality and ingredients/meats. This is not the place that provides you with any of that.

The pho was excellent. The fried shrimp was not worth it. Wish they would give you large bowls with pho carry out.

A standard but good and reasonable for pho. Wouldn't go beyond that except for summer rolls.

So often, there are restaurants that overcook the lobster making it chewy. Matt's Fish Camp cooked it perfectly. They were extremely busy. But the hostesses and cleanup kept the tables turning.

The cocktails were great, and the crab and pimento dip was just okay. I ordered the shrimp and grits from the daily specials menu and didn't love it. The shrimp came with the shells still on the tail, which I had to pick off myself. Also the chorizo wasn't crumbled, but cooked in the casing and then cut up, which made it rock hard and taste very strongly of iron. It's what I would imagine a blood sausage to taste like (gross!). I didn't finish my plate, which was a bit disappointing. My family ordered a crab cake sandwich and fried fish sandwich, which they said were good though. Not a bad spot to stop if you're on the north side of Ocean City.

I'll give the restaurant a 4 star review for the sauces and food combinations. The fish and pork chops were an excellent choice for my guests. Unfortunately I ordered the flank steak, medium rare. I didn't send it back which would have ruined the mood of the dinner, but the pork chop took 25 minutes to prepare. The flank steak came out luke warm and was not at all tender. It would have been better medium or medium well as it was a bit rubbery. The server should have warned me when she indicated to my guest that she preferred the pork chop. She was a bit abrupt and talked too fast. The Parker house rolls were a bit dry, not warm and tough. I'm from Baltimore and Parker house rolls are should be warm, soft with a lovely aroma and melt in your mouth. The honey butter helped but not enough. We ordered the strawberry short cake for dessert. The presentation was lovely and the strawberries fresh and sweet, but the short cake was dry. I assume it was awarded the James Beard for the sauces and creative combinations, which admittedly were wonderful, but there are some simple things the chef needs to consult his grandmother on how to prepare.

Perfectly refreshing, bright, and exactly what you want on a beach‑town evening. We shared the pretzel with crab cheese dip, and that was phenomenal -- warm, soft, and paired with a rich, flavorful crab dip that tasted fresh and indulgent without being heavy. For my meal, the crab cake was very good, full of flavor and nicely done. My Caesar salad was crisp and well‑dressed, and the fresh‑cut fries were perfect -- exactly what you'd hope for from classic boardwalk‑style fries, just served in a restaurant setting. Hot, salty, and addictive. Between the drinks, the food, and the relaxed coastal vibe, Tailchasers absolutely delivered for us. We'll definitely be back.

Everyone was standing around just gossiping. We sat at the table inside and waited about 15 mins to get a server. I realize this is pretty normal here in OCMD, but there were a lot of people standing around and a handful of people eating. The server was a nice guy. He wasn't one of the folks standing around. We were hopeful. Drinks were watered down. They were supposed to be frozen. We ordered brisket Putíne. Absolutely flavorless. Had to add salt and pepper to make it edible. Even my teens didn't like it. I personally had the shrimp tacos. They fell apart, and were inconsistent in prep. One had 2 shrimps, the other had 4. One had sauce, the other did not. The taco was falling apart after the 3rd bite. Very unpleasant to eat. The oysters we ordered had tons of shell pieces in it. Again, down to the preparation. My husband had the lobster roll. It was actually good, but the portions of lobster were a joke. We went to the crab factory down the road a week ago and the value, bread and amount of lobster was a better value with equal taste. Overall, this seems like a tourist location and very hit or miss. Our experience was definitely miss for the price.
