Great for a rainy day (or really any day), Pho DK does a great job with a nice warm broth when you need it most. Big fan of their beef pho and the assortment of meat they give you. Ordered Spicy Lemongrass Soup, Grilled Pork Banh Mi, Egg Rolls and Grilled Pork Sumner Rolls. The appetizers were solid. Soup was okay, felt like it was missing something.. didn't taste flavorful like BBH, but more of a beef broth soup with thick noodles and meat. Walking into this restaurant, I saw that it was empty. The menu was simple, so I had no trouble ordering something. I ordered the chicken flat noodles with egg rolls as my appetizer. The staff were all really nice and quick to help. The vibe inside the restaurant was nice and cozy. It had simple decorations, but just the right amount. There were pictures all around that went with the vibe nicely. The restaurant was also in a nice area, where there wasn't a lot of traffic. I would certainly come back to this place. read more

This place is good but the service is questionable. They give you styrofoam cups to put your left over pho in and charge you $1 for chili oil. They do not give you to go containers because that's the "rule" and they're only doing what they're told. We spent $70 on lunch and can't get a to go bag? Makes absolutely no sense. Pho DK is consistently excellent. I've come here what feels like a thousand times usually for the vermicelli plate and the pork banh mi. But let me tell you, if it's ever cold or rainy or you can feel a storm coming, you gotta get yourself some beef pho. The beef pho is EXCELLENT, and the cashier told me it is by far their best seller, and I can see why! Their broth is herbaceous and bright and you honestly can't help but down the whole thing. Truly phenomenal stuff! If you're ever so lucky as to be ordering egg rolls or spring rolls, fair warning that you are gonna be one hell of a happy camper. Moved out of the Dallas area recently, but this place makes me sad to have done so! This was our go-to in Dallas- incredible food at a reasonable price, no long wait, and solid portions. I specifically recommend the Beef Pho and the Banh Mi. The Banh Mi is one of the best I've ever had, including time spent in Singapore and Los Angeles. Really, you just can't go wrong eating here. Surprised I haven't been here before. It's more modern style where you go up and order food then sit down to wait they bring it out. I didn't have high expectation but they did a great job on the bun bo hue. They had a good blend of lemon grass and the broth was balance. Only down side is that they didn't have porks blood which is a staple for this dish. However, I still think the dish itself is great since the meat was cooked nicely and they had the correct noodles that had a nice bite at the of it. I was super hungry when I arrived, so I got a bowl of chicken pho and an order of the summer rolls appetizer per the recommendation of another reviewer. The rolls were delivered to my table before I even sat down. They are really big and very yummy. I loved the sauce they came with. Honestly, I could have just eaten these rolls because they were big. The bowl of pho was basically a bathtub. It was huge! I couldn't even sort of make a dent in it. My colleagues got the sesame chicken and pad Thai. Both looked yummy. We got a pho, a chicken fried flat noodles, a summer roll and the Shaken Beef. There were a lot of veggies and meat in our dishes. Everything was flavorful without being overly salty or saucy or oily. (The only thing we didn't like was the plain rice that tasted like it was made earlier in the week.) We ended up liking the fried flat noodles the most. The Shaken Beef was basically broccoli and beef. Nothing special although the steak was good quality. Because the flavors are so fresh and light, it brings a sense of nostalgia. It reminds me on home, something that's handmade; you can tell that they put a lot of time and effort into their dishes, not like other pho places that just use powdered pho. I appreciate that because it's not something that you come by that often. I only ever eat once or twice a day so I try to eat dishes that are worth it, which makes me really critical when it comes to food. This restaurant has met and exceeded my expectations. This is my second time here! The first time, I placed a go-to order for chicken pho. The restaurant is super clean, and the employees are really courteous. They were really patient with how indecisive I was, everything on the menu looked great! I caved in and tried out the sesame chicken since they have a 10% discount on new menu items. The food was great! I didn't have to wait long (maybe like 8 minutes) and it was steaming when they dropped it off at the table. With it being freezing here in TX we were looking forward for some hot tasty Pho Soup and this place did not disappoint! Since I was visiting the area and was chilly outside I decided to get some Pho. I chose this spot because the reviews spoke so highly of the Pho. I ordered Beef Brisket Pho and Egg Rolls. I was very very disappointed. The broth was very bland and had no flavor. At other restaurants the beef brisket was way more flavored. The portion was a good size and the service was just okay. My friend thought it was just okay. If your the area I would not bother coming for the flavorless pho. Now I saw people order everything except Pho so I'm not sure of the other dishes. Between my food and my friends I spent $36 which included a 20% tip. If I knew they had just basic service I would've left that much. I suggest to order any but the Beef Pho. read more

OMG!!!! I am love with this restaurant for their Bun Bo Hue "BBH" (Beef Spicy Noodle Soup). I've tasted many BBH throughout DFW and Pho DK knows how to whip up a fine BBH. I've tried their Beef Pho and it's pretty good compared to the local competitor across the street. Be prepared to carb load with this hot noodle soup. Also, a major plus is that the staff is super friendly considering it's not a full-service restaurant. Yeah you order your food and have it brought to you. Yet they are quick to bring you anything per your request. For example, I asked for an extra bowl and a pair of scissors so that I could share my pho with my 5 year-old and I was pleasantly surprised that she did not grimace at my request, but politely nodded. And although it gets pretty busy during lunchtime, there's enough people on staff to clear and clean up the tables for a fast turnover. My new favorite lunch spot when I'm craving Vietnamese soup, whether it's BBH or pho. read more

I would probably give this 4.5 stars if this were an option purely for the pho. Kind of tried this place on a whim with all the rainy weather we were getting last week. First thoughts on walking in were that this place seemed very casual modern (like a froyo place) and is located in one of those parts of town where there is a large concentration of really good food. The food here is very flavorful! The pho broth is delicious and balanced but slightly lighter than some of the stuff I've tasted in vietnam and more authentic places--- which I actually like because it doesn't overfill you. The other dishes are also very solid but not really anything to write him about. I did really like the steak stir fry because it had very tender meat. Only downside is that the prices as on the upper end of normal for most small pho places, but not much more expensive so didn't bother me too much. Easily one of my new faves! read more
