Love this place! My boyfriend and I have been countless times for the pho. We have dined in and gotten takeout. They package the takeout pho extremely well, with the noodles and meat seperate from the broth so the noodles don't get soggy. The broth flavor and meat it extremely flavorful every time! I was in the mood for some vermicelli and grilled pork and a side order of egg rolls, so I decided to give this place a shot. I called in for a pick up order and they said it'd be done in 10-15 minutes. They were true to their word and I got my food fresh and hot. The egg rolls are good, the vermicelli was tasty. The only downside was that I didn't receive enough nouc mam (fish sauce stuff) for the noodles, but often this happens at any Vietnamese restaurant I go to (I'm just usually eating in and ask for more). The pork was cooked well and was tender and flavorful, got plenty of veggies and the dish also comes supplied with one egg roll as well. Unfortunately, I haven't tried the pho yet, but I imagine it should be pretty decent if its anything like their vermicelli. Pricing was ok, about $3 for the egg rolls and I think $8 or $9 for the vermicelli. Inside the restaurant looked nice and clean. read more

I thought it was ok. I came on a rainy day with a friend and we both ordered beef pho and spring rolls. Our food came out very quickly, like under 5 minutes. The spring rolls were well made but I didn't like the pork inside but thought the lettuce was very fresh. Our pho portions were average, in terms of meat and noodles. I liked the fresh herb toppings and the variety. As far as the broth, I thought it lacked depth and was not as rich as I would have liked. broth was not as rich as I liked but the toppings One thing I love about the restaurant was the cleanliness and service. I don't know that I will come back simply because there are so many pho restaurants in my area. I came with a friend and we both agreed that Pho Bac and Pho Pasteur are superior. Banh mi heaven! Didn't plan on having a sandwich but ended up changing my mind at the last second and ordered a pork banh mi. I have no regrets. Best thing I put in my face all month! 3.5 stars. First off, I'm vietnamese and grew up in Garland so I'm going to be a lot more critical. I'm not even deducting stars for the price, it's a given for the area. My boyfriend and I live addison and was craving banh mi so we decided to check out this local restaurant due to the high reviews. The establishment itself is very clean and the staff friendly and attentive; however the food is obviously for the american palate and not very authentic. Ordered the grilled pork banh mi and although the meat itself is plentiful and marinated well, it was missing key components like butter and pate. It's a yummy sandwich with Asian flavors, but not what I would call a vietnamese banh mi. Overall not a bad place and great for the western palate, but I probably won't be back to try other dishes as I have a feeling it will be more americanized fusions. read more

I've only tried the bahn mi, and it is excellent. After moving to DFW a few years ago I have been searching for great pork bahn mi and I finally found it at Pho Dk. Having tried a dozen or more places this is the best that I have found. Like most Vietnamese restaurants it's a simple non fancy place. Came here for lunch. This place is pretty clean and I love how bright it is inside. You pay and order your meal up front and the cashier will give you a number card to take to your seat. Its open seating and you get your drinks and utensils on the side. They don't have a huge menu but enough to get your fix of pho, rice, noodles, or sandwiches. They have the basic Vietnamese appetizers for you to use from as well (eggrolls/spring rolls). Prices are a little higher than other Vietnamese restaurants but it's the location. The grilled beef vermicelli bowl was really good. Lots of veggies, the meat was flavorful, and the fish sauce that came with it was good as well. I called in an order for takeout, got a variety - chicken pho, pork banh mi, chicken yakisoba and shaken beef. Everything was great, fresh and ready to go. The standouts for us were the shaken beef, so tender, big chunks with a great interesting sauce and the pork banh mi. We love banh mi's anyways but the pork was tender and very flavorful. Excellent Food and Service! We went in last night for dinner and ordered the Korean barbecue rice plate and the Bo Luc Lac, or Shaken Beef. Both entrees were excellent. Next time I'm ordering the Bo Luc Lac for me. Without the rice it's pretty Keto friendly and they happily added more veggies on my Korean BBQ to replace the rice. Place had the best reviews in my area so I thought I would give it a shot; turns out the stars don't lie. More noodles and than I'm used to and a healthy serving of beef. Normal bowls don't usually give me a problem, but I was struggling there towards the end. Broth is solid and I was able to get some meat with pretty much every bite. They have the best summer rolls I've had in a while. Lots of shrimp and a little beef. Crispy fillig, all the lettuce and leaves were green, and the peanut sauce was on point. Definitely a must have for this place. My only gripe was that the sprouts I got with the meal were wet and not as crispy as I would like. But to be completely fair, I walked in 45 mins before they closed, so I'll take the hit on that one. To top it off the service was super friendly and quick. Really impressed with this spot! I made a take out order and it was quick and easy. They gave me a bag with the broth in one container and the noodles and meat to be cooked in the broth in another. They also included sauces and bean sprouts, basil, and peppers. And all of this was ready as soon as I walked in. I tried the beef pho, and the meatballs were flavored nicely and not tough. The food here is very good, but the wait staff is some of the rudest staff I have ever encountered, and sadly because of this I will never spend another penny in this restaurant. Found this place on the way back towards going home and I must say I was super happy to have stumbled over Pho DK. I ordered a tofu pho and honestly I was very impressed with the bursts of flavors. I'm sorry, I don't understand the good reviews at all. I gave two stars for the ordering process (go up, order, sit down and eat and leave after), cleanliness of the place, and the fresh ingredients. The broth was bland, the meat in the pho bo was off- I got rid of all of my meat basically. It's not right at all. The summer rolls were off, too. The dipping sauce was just hoisin sauce not the peanut sauce. The herbs used was wrong and had a perfume-y taste. Price is really expensive for what you get. read more
