Pho Fusion is like a thai'ish fast food place. I went for the pad thai, which was marked as a signature dish. They don't ask whether you want it spicy and it's served mild, but you can add sriracha. Unfortunately, while the ingredients were generally fine, the overall taste was lacking, and not just in the spice department. The whole dish had more of a dairy taste to it than that certain tangy thai taste and it wasn't exactly what I think of pad thai being. Just threw out most of a three entree order. We ate here several times a few years ago and it was good, but has steadily declined. This experience was the worst. The food wasn't even edible, and we aren't terribly picky. The sesame chicken must have been made days ago. What I initially thought was the crispy breading was the dried out husk of the chicken. The sauce had no flavor, just a sweetish jelled goo. The coconut chicken was just as awful. Dry, flavorless, an abundance of rice carrots and celery. Nasty. Even the sweet and sour soup tasted off and I sincerely hope I don't get sick from eating it. Terrible. read more

Tried this place for the first time tonight and it's honestly just blah. The broth has no flavor and tastes watered down. It also didn't come with some of the normal things (limes, basil, sauce, etc). Not sure if that's normal or if they just forgot but either way, I wouldn't come back because of the lack of flavor. I had to try Pho Fusion recently when my regular spot was closed due to the holiday. Yelp's 2 star "Meh, I've experienced better." fits the bill perfectly. I'll start by saying: I have never met a Vietnamese eggroll that I didn't like. Maybe it's my affinity for fish sauce that normally accompanies the rolls for dipping? Both fell short. This was literally the first time that I had either, where I wasn't fiending for more. As for the pho, the broth was thin and flavorless. The ingredients weren't much better. Fast and fresh noodle bowls in my Highlands 'hood? What more can a guy ask for? I stopped in for a heaping, hearty and healthy bowl of the combo noodles bowl - delicious and mouth-watering! Chicken, pork, beef and shrimp with a Vietnamese spring roll - yum, son! The sauce tasted authentic and spot-on. And having all of the required condiments at your table (Sriracha, oyster sauce and soy sauce) was the perfect touch. Pho Fusion, Pho Sho! I visited their website to contact management, but they have no email address or contact other than a phone number calling the restaurant, and the restaurant is the problem and the guy with the hat answering the phone is the problem. I would give them a better rating when they are slow (off peak hours), I've eaten there several times during off peak hours and was happy. They struggle with the dinner rush though, omg. I tried to call in an order to go and couldn't get an answer, after 3 attempts I decided just to go in. I walked into an over busy, over ordered mess of an operation. I placed my ordered and I sat and waited and waited some more. I watched two other customers complain during my wait, so I waited silently until I realized people who have come way after me had came and gone, and mean while the only one employee taking orders, continues to take phone orders, while they can't keep up with people physically there. I spoke up and asked about my order and he told me to be patient. I said, "no, patience isn't the problem, please go check on my order it's clearly lost".. he seemed frazzled and had no idea when it would be ready and kind of just avoided me. I waited 5 more minutes and watched several other people get their food and leave and I had seen enough and asked for my money back and left 30 minutes later with no dinner. I didn't even get an apology. As a business owner here is free advice, absorb the labor costs, hire more competent help for your dinner rush. You're in a red hot neighborhood, and we aren't having it. read more

NOT VEGETARIAN!! I know it's hard to find a REAL vegetarian pho. Don't be fooled by the menu "The pho menu is 5 types of pho, each labeled in English - beef, chicken, vegetarian, meatball, and shrimp." They are ALL in a beef broth. Yup, you got it right, all of them are in a beef broth. I can't comment on the taste or quality because I didn't eat there. I knew enough to ask about the broth. I did, however, get a FREE helping of apathy from the counter weight running the shop at the time. He even offered me some sesame tofu. No thanks. I'll continue to frequent my regular pho place. Stopped in for some of this fast food stuff. I ordered sesame chicken and it wasn't that bad. Nice big strips in a sweet sauce. Egg rolls were okay too. Also ordered pork noodle bowls which I'm told were not that great. It really looks like a fast food joint. Not much of a place to enjoy a sit down meal but there were a few eating there while we waited on our food. Regrettably the prices seem to hover around $10 a dish so not so cheap. They do have a few salads and perhaps those might be better. Wish I could rate this higher but this is the best I could do. read more

If you're looking for an authentic Vietnamese pho restaurant, Pho Fusion is not it. In fact, Pho Fusion is to real pho as Chipotle is to authentic Mexican food. Big portion, not necessarily great flavors, but reasonable food. The pho menu is 5 types of pho, each labeled in English - beef, chicken, vegetarian, meatball, and shrimp. That's it. Lots of other "fusion" items too, which are probably more their specialties. The pho I had was not bad, but the broth lacked serious flavor without sriracha and hoisin. If you're in the Highlands and looking for a bowl of Pho this is really your only option. That said, it's not a bad one. The place is kind of small and a little cramped. I had to move completely out of my chair several times to allow people to pass behind me to get to other tables which was a little more than annoying. I do, however, really like the fact that you order and pay at the counter first. You can find a seat after you order and they'll bring it out to you. This is nice because then you're not waiting for a check at the end of your meal. The Pho itself is okay. It's definitely lacking the depth of flavor that you'll get at other places around town. It was a little on the sweeter side of the spectrum. After adding the usual condiments, it became closer to my liking. I also ordered the spring rolls, which were also pretty good. The "peanut" sauce was a little strange, but also edible. The people running the joint were friendly enough and made sure that we had everything we needed. If you need more water or soda here, you'll have to get it yourself. Order, sit, eat and go. It's kind of like the Chipotle of Pho/Asian food. read more

Very bad experience...mix-ups and HAIR..., and apparently everyone else had issues tonight. First, they lost my take-out order, saying I must have called another restaurant. I showed them the number I called and the employee confirmed that was the right number. Next, I was told they found my order but the other guy was new to taking orders and he typed in the wrong food items. It was way off, like a completely different order. We got it right and I waited for it to be made. I witnessed customer after customer receive the wrong take out order, many apologies and excuses, and then the correct order. I received my order pretty quickly, but it was missing one of the three items. Same apologies, excuses, and then my real order. When I got home, ready to eat, I found hair in my food. Worst service and so gross!!!! There are better places. Not sure why it was so busy with every customer in my 20 minutes there receive bad service....and probably hair. read more

During a normal pho craving, I don't hesitate to hop in my car and roll on down the road to Pho 95. Tonight was different- my man was sick with a sinus infection, and needed the delicious life-giving nourishment of pho post haste. Because Pho Fusion is the closest pho place to my house, I thought I would give it a shot to save time and gas. Initial thoughts: Holy god, the hot and sour soup was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Kind of like a blend of hot/sour and tom yum soups, with an extra kick of lemongrass and lots of veggies/tofu. The pho, however, was just alright. The broth was definitely lacking flavor. Definitely not as good as the pho spots on S. Fed. My pad thai was pretty average. As previously noted in other reviews, they don't ask how spicy you would like it, so I had to add a ton of siracha. Spring rolls were disappointing. I was initially turned off by how similar this place is to "upscale" fast food joints like Noodles and Co. and Tokyo Joes. The food pretty much fit my expectations. I would recommend this restaurant to people who like pho, it's cheap and actually a pretty great place. You can order to-go or eat inside but be warned that the broth here is very bland. I like my pho broth to have a lot of flavor and be really delicious but here it is more like chicken broth even if you order beef pho. I love pho and what I love most about this place is that it's close to my house. The pho is average - not in a bad way - but I suggest the spicy pho. I've had great pho but the last time i was there my tofu and veggie pho tasted a lot like horseradish... which was not good. Parking isn't great and when they're busy you might have to fight someone for a table but if you decided to get your food to go they won't let you down and pack all the necessities. This would have been a three-four star rating because it was nice staff up front, quick, affordable, etc. Pho was eh, but good tofu. I honestly make more flavorful pho from scratch at home. However, they lied to me. I found out ordering a second time around that their noodles have fish sauce in them (which makes sense because it tasted a bit seafoody). This was AFTER I asked MULTIPLE times during our first order whether both the broth in the pho and the sauce for the lo mein were ENTIRELY vegetarian. I was assured they were. When we went to order a second time I asked to speak to a manager because I wasn't convinced given how fishy the lo mein tasted last time. He admitted there was fish sauce in it. SO NOT OKAY. What the hell? You're lucky I'm just vegetarian by choice (for 28 years) and don't have an allergy. Lying to customers about what is in your food is NEVER okay. I have reported them to Denver's Public Health office, Food and Safety division because I'm sure this has happened before. I should have come to yelp to see the reviews before just popping in to this place. The broth isn't terrible, but they are really over-priced for a Medium Only option. My guess is they are trying to take advantage of the tennyson/highlands development. I should have walked out when they said "one size". eggrolls were stale and chewy. greens were old and not fresh. Staff was friendly but i kept hearing "hoarking" noises from the kitchen, like when someone hocks up a loogi. very displeased over-all. won't ever be returning. this is not a real pho place at all. read more

I agree with the other reviewers that the dishes are a little light on the seasoning, but what it lacks for in that department, it more than makes up for in other areas. We ordered the mandarin chicken salad and curry pad thai, and while I added a good amount of Sriracha and soy sauce to mine (the pad thai), the flavors were clean and everything was very, very fresh. The restaurant itself was pristine--sparkling clean tables and floors. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the menu. If you're looking for a good variety, fresh food, a clean establishment, and a friendly staff, this is absolutely the place to go, as long as you don't mind peppering in a little provided Sriracha. read more

The best pho in Denver! I visit this place weekly in the winter. They are fast and efficient. I often get my order to go and they neatly pack everything up for me. If I do eat at the restaurant the service is always good. I can't speak for anything on the menu except the pho though. But if you want pho, I highly recommend Pho Fusion. read more

I love this place. It's cozy and clean. I go there for the tofu pho and the pot stickers. I've tried a variety of the meat pho options and I'm not a fan of those. The meat is not very flavorful and I've tried them all. It doesn't matter though because the veggie pho is so good. They told me the broth is chicken based, or beef based. I'm not familiar with the rest of the menu. Service is always excellent. It's been the same guy every time. It's fast and friendly even when they're packed. So, go for the tofu pho, pot stickers, and Thai coffee and you'll be pleased. read more

I am not saying that this is the very best pho in all of Denver. I wouldn't presume to be an expert in this area, but it is still tasty. I would say that the sesame chicken is the best I have had in NW Denver. It is crispy and does't have the strange, grisly pieces or pockets of fat that I have experienced at local Chinese restaurants. I also really enjoy the lo-mein. The veggies are crisp and everything is fresh, not soggy. Ordering at the counter (or over the phone) and having food ready in 5-10 minutes cannot be beat. I am never disappointed and thanks to the convenience, my family and I eat here very regularly. Oh, and all the employees I have come across at this establishment are great! read more

Just stoping by the area heading home and Asian food is my all time favorite always eat it in my hometown. The pho was very bland and mediocre. The crab wontons where good could of been warmer. We eat here a lot & tend to order pretty much the same things every time- Lettuce Wraps, Pad Thai, & Sesame Chicken OK, maybe we're a little repetitive- but we know what we like here. All of these dishes are quality, but not amazing. For reasonable prices we love the place & come back over and over. Beware the spice. Our kids struggle with the "mild" pad thai so much that we've gone to asking for no spice. I'd remind the staff at least twice about whatever spice level you want because we've had a couple of hotter than expected/desired items. read more

The pho here is truly meh. It is worth the drive down federal to get something way more tasty and flavorful. Sure you get a ton, but it's so bland you get sick of eating it. However, the lettuce wraps are tasty. The sesame chicken is decent too. It's more of a fall-back place for me though because it is close to where I live - not a top contender for dinnertime.
