Came in for lunch with family. Parking was easy and restaurant was clean. The restaurang was interestingly decorated, had random trinkets and labubus which were honestly kinda cute. I'd give the whole visit a 3.5. My chicken diah was okay, ive just had better at another location but staff were kind and price was affordable.

Excellent Pho Ga!! I had their #35 Glass noodle soup with chicken today... and it was SO GOOD!! Everything was excellent and on point. the noodle soup came out piping hot; the chicken was fresh and tasty, and cooked just right. It was PERFECTO! Thanks for a great meal!!

I came here later in the night with my family and the service here was great! Our server was kind and patient with the different orders that we had in our party. I got the pho tai - it was flavorful and great to have since it was a cold evening. My husband got their bun bo hue. He thought it could have more flavor, but we both agreed that the meat in both our dishes were a little dry. The portions aren't the biggest here, which is fine since we were full once we finished eating. Overall, it's a decent spot for yummy Vietnamese noodle soups! Also, if you're a huge labubu fan, that's their main decor! They have tons of labubus around the restaurant.

Here is my scoring card for this restaurant: 1) Location: ( 4 Point ) - Great location for customer to see and find. Great parking for street parking and parking lot parking. 2) Decoration : (3 Point) - They still have the original decoration. Clean and neat. 3) Price: ( 4 point)- The price is competitive but still a little bit pricey compare to other same stars and type food they serve 4) Quality and Taste : ( 3 point)- The quality is ok, food taste is good and portions are average . ( must be inflation ) 5) Type of cuisine standard : ( 4 point) - The style of Vietnamese food they serve is pretty close to the way it was prepare in Vietnam. Not bad! But some dishes did have slightly modify to cater the customer's need Overall it's not bad and I thinks it's great to give it a try and let me know what you think. Pho Ga An Nam is hands down one of my favorite places to get com ga. I have been coming to this restaurant for years and it always hits the spot for me. My favorite dish to order is Com Ga Dac Biet Siu Siu An Nam. A complete meal! The soup is rich yet super clean. The rice, kimchi, chicken, and sauce are all super flavorful and pair well together. Great portions of chicken. I also think that I am addicted to their kimchi -- it's perfectly balanced! What's new and very unique about this place is their collection of labubus and other trinkets they have in front. I believe they are for sale? Service is always friendly and nice. Parking can be a bit difficult during busier hours.

Been going here for years: Bun bo hue, broken rice, and pho are all great dishes! Service is extremely fast but not the most attentive/considerate (see tip below). Plenty of seating. Ambiance is trendy as the decor is alway changing. Tip: Ive ordered here to go a few times. They tend to leave the to go food on the counter without ever notifying you, which is unfortunate because Id be at a table or on the side waiting for 20+ extra minutes with the food sitting there. Id recommend waiting nearby the counter to ensure you grab food whenever its ready. Dont rely on the staff to tell you.

I came here one afternoon for lunch. Got the bun bo hue and the banh beo. The banh beo is a steamed rice cake topped with dried shrimp, green onion sauce and a fried pork skin. Then side of a sauce. The bun bo hue has a variety of meats in it such as the Vietnamese ham (Chả lụa), pork blood, beef tendon, noodles and herbs. There was also a side of herbs such as mint, banana flower, bean sprouts. The broth itself had a strong lemongrass flavor, overtime tasted a lot of mint flavor since there was mint already added to the soup when I got it. Next time, I will probably ask them to not put the mint inside the soup beforehand, I will add it myself. The large is a big portion and filling. Overall, pretty good. Parking here can be difficult even on a weekday but this is just the parking lot here. Also, noticed they have a lot of labubu things that they seem to be selling.

Usually not the biggest fan of pho ga but the broth for the combination pho here is very yummy! Light broth but still very flavorful!! The staff was also very friendly.

I ordered Bún Măng Gỏi Gà. This is one of those dishes you absolutely love or don't care much for. The plate of cabbage salad topped with chicken, and the bowl of vermicelli with bamboo shoots and chicken gizzards were generous. A delicious meal accompanied with ginger fish sauce for dipping the chicken, vinegar based salad dressing and chili for a kick. The service was good and quick. I'm confused why they don't have more stars. I will definitely return.

Contrary to its name, my family comes to Pho Ga An Nam exclusively for its Hainanese chicken rice when we don't feel up to making it at home. They've got an adorable and very sizable outdoor patio that is perfect for meals during the warmer months and service has never been less than peppy. Parking can be a headache because the plaza is home to so many other popular businesses, and the wait can get long during rushes, but if you're willing to navigate through both the food is definitely worth it. Cuisine here is more homestyle than anything. The chicken in their Ga An Nam dish is consistently moist and well-proportioned (even the white meat), and combined with their tangy ginger-garlic chili sauce deliver a pop of flavor with every bite. Make sure to try it with their Vietnamese coriander (rau ram) for some added freshness. Their chicken rice is honestly on the sweeter side, which isn't something I'm a fan of, and their kimchi leaves more to be desired. But wash it all down with their warm oniony broth and you've got a meal you'll definitely want to come back for. Make sure to stop by.

    * Visited Sunday 12/29/2024 at 6pm with a group of 7 :-) I used to come to this restaurant pretty often when I was younger, and I believe there has been a change in owner since I last came here (probably 10 years ago?). I came with my family after a long roadtrip and we were seated immediately. Our waiter was very kind and joked with us- making the experience pretty fun & light hearted. The restaurant has definitely been renovated and seems more colorful and brighter, and more welcoming. OKAY THE FOOD: * Com Ga Roti - this is one of my personal favorite dishes, and though it's not the same from when I was a kid, it's still pretty good and incredibly filling.

Found this place on Yelp and wanted to check it out for lunch since my friend and I were in the area. We wanted to find a nice pho spot. There wasn't a wait on Thursday for a late lunch. Nem Nuong Cuon (3/5): Presentation was nice. Flavor was good but the portion of the pork compared to everything else wasn't that great. The texture of the pork was a little too soft as well. Pho Ga (3/5): This was pretty average. It was a little too oily for my liking. The flavor was okay though. The chicken was a bit boney as well. The portion was good but it was pricey. Overall it was an okay try. I don't think I will be back.

I've grown up eating here, but it sadly doesn't hit the same anymore. The only thing that's still good is the rice and mam gung (fish sauce w/ ginger). We now to go Pho Ga Nha a few blocks down for our com ga fix. COM GA DAC BIET SIU SIU AN NAM: 3/5 ($17.95) + Their rice here is (and has always been) my favorite! Full of flavor and has great texture + Chicken skin isn't crunchy, kinda hard to eat and enjoy + Chicken itself tasted a bit dry, overcooked almost, even for the dark meat pieces

It remains crispy even if it's been sitting for a bit (as long as you air it out) and if you reheat it in the air fryer, it's still crisp! The net egg rolls or regular are wonderfully crispy and flavorful. The nem nuong is the best I've had, just like the OG spot in SoCal. The garlic noodles are so chewy and garlicky in the best way. I love that the dipping sauce is in a giant bowl, composed of the classic fish sauce concoction with sugar and some garlic and optional chili. Noodles itself was perfectly cooked, slight chew to it and not soggy. The dish had the sweet, salty, savory combo The egg rolls were on the smaller side but tightly packed with delicious ground pork. Crispy outside. Came with the slightly spicy sweet fish sauce with chili. The banh beo chen came in one small plate instead of little dipping sauce plates. It had minced shrimp (more like crumbles), friend pork rinds pieces, and green onions. I like that they used shrimp instead of mung bean paste. Between Saigon and Hanoi, I went on a full-blown bánh cuốn quest, trying different spots almost daily. Street stalls, little hole-in-the-wall shops, famous spots--you name it. At some point I stopped being a tourist and became a rice-roll inspector. So yeah... my standards are unfortunately very high now. The best bánh cuốn I had in Vietnam was paper thin and almost translucent, with this delicate chew that somehow breaks apart and melts in your mouth. That's the texture I'm chasing. Coming back here, the rice sheets were noticeably thicker and didn't have that same delicate texture. They also weren't as fresh and warm as I remembered, which makes a huge difference with bánh cuốn. This is one of those dishes that's at its best when the sheets are freshly steamed and hit your table warm. The meat filling was also underwhelming and not nearly as flavorful or savory as another bánh cuốn spot I've had in San Jose. With a dish this simple, there's nowhere to hide--the rice sheet, filling, freshness and nước mám chấm (fish sauce) all have to work together. It's certainly not bad, and I can understand why people enjoy it. But after eating my way through Saigon and Hanoi in pursuit of the perfect bánh cuốn, this one is kinda meh for me now. My old review gave this place 4 stars. Vietnam ruined me.

The broth made a good first impression and clearly included many of the right spices, although it was also quite salty. As I got further into the bowl, however, the flavor started to feel flat and lacked the rich, slow-simmered depth I expect from a restaurant that specializes in this dish. It tasted more heavily seasoned than deeply developed, so experienced bún bò Huế fans may find it underwhelming. The meat was also not as tender as I would have liked, and the congealed blood--usually my favorite part--was overcooked and dry rather than smooth and tender. The visible holes suggested it may have been cooked too quickly at too high a temperature. Overall, the meal was decent and had some good flavors, but the broth, meat, and service did not meet my expectations. Toppings are appropriately sized as well Personal take, I didn't really enjoy the fried pork rind topping as much and would have liked more shrimp, but once again, personal preference. I didn't quite enjoy the Hu Tieu, but my friend liked the soup! It's a little too plain for me. I do love the feeling and texture of eating thick, round rice noodles. The banh xeo that came on the side was hard to crunch through, I felt like it was probably sitting on the side for a while. Vibes were nice -- there's a call button to ask for service. Menu has a lot of items as well (e.g. pho, rice plates, etc), so there's something for everyone if you come with a big group! Our server was also really attentive and sweet -- he came by and asked if we wanted additional dishes/bowls since we were sharing food!

I ordered their egg rolls and banh beo for catering which came with lots of fresh herbs/lettuce, fish sauce, and other toppings. Pricing was very affordable as well for the quality. I have also frequently gone into their store to enjoy a nice plate of com tam or bun thit nuong which has always been great. They provide their nuoc mam/fish sauce on the table and always are attentive. Restaurant is large and can accommodate a bunch of tables. Parking is also on a big plaza so didn't have trouble parking.

It's not outstanding, but it's definitely enjoyable. Unfortunately, the service ruined the experience. As soon as I sat down, I hadn't even had a chance to look through the whole menu before the server kept touching my shoulder and repeatedly pressured me to order. I found it very rude and uncomfortable because I really don't like strangers touching me. The older lady did it to everyone in our table, and she didn't seem to realize she was making our entire group uncomfortable, and it affected our whole dining experience. So, would I come back? Absolutely not. One visit was more than enough. I'm not willing to deal with that kind of pushy service again.
