Stopped by here for late lunch after visiting the nearby Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre with my father before heading home to Denver. When we walked in, it wasn't very busy at all, only 3 tables of customers and we were seated right away at the corner table. We order A2 which is their Shrimp Spring Rolls, it was in a long piece which I thought they would cut in halves, but not to worry, it was very yummy and we finished it right away. Their spring rolls does not taste like it just came out of the freezer as many Vietnamese restaurants pre-made their spring rolls and stick it into the freezer and when customers orders it, they take it out and serve it to you. The spring rolls tasted very fresh. For the main course, Pho Noodle Soup, we each orders medium bowl for P8 (Rare Steak, Brisket, Tendon and Tripe) and P9 (Well Done Flank, Brisket, Tendon and Tripe). Good thing we ordered the medium size and not the large size as the bowl was very huge and filled us up right away. This is a must visit Pho restaurant if you are ever in the area. read more

1. Nice place. Clean, cozy and peaceful. Kinda Upper class than a normal Pho, but price is still the same. I went here to have a rest after hiking. 2. Noodle soup is refreshing and delicious. I tried small size for 8P(raw steak with everything). The beef is well balanced with the veges. If you like spicy, put a little bit chilly sauce in there. It will raise the taste of soup to another level. :) 3. Service is nice. The waiter is kind and helpful. Make you very comfortable. 4. The dessert of Rice and Mango with coconuts milk is a surprise. I've come here twice and had the same problem twice - the noodles in the pho were undercooked. On the second occasion I decided to point it out, so they took my bowl and clearly re-heated it in an attempt to cook the noodles more; the result was still undercooked noodles but now over cooked vegetables. I really wanted to like this place but they are insisting on this problem I won't be coming back. They get 2 stars only because my friend really enjoyed the pad Thai so apparently hey can do some things right. But if your name has "pho" in the title you should get that right. read more

This restaurant has 1 outdoor table which was nice because then I could bring my pup! I got the number 8 pho dish (rare steak, tripe, etc). The food came out quickly and the employees came out fairly often to attend to us and they were super nice. The pho was really good- the broth had a lot of flavor and tasted even better with Siracha. Came here on a Saturday for lunch, wasn't busy at all, in fact, dead and for whatever weird reason very dark with almost no lights on. Ordered a LARGE pho, satisfied with the taste/flavor but disappointed with the portion size and even more so because it was $12 for one large bowl, since literally every other pho restaurant I've been to gives you way more food than this place does. First of all, I am a huge fan of reading reviews and almost solely rely on them when deciding to purchase something or eat somewhere. I rarely contribute and write a review (which is horrible). However, this restaurant, I felt deserved a review and unfortunately it's negative. Reading the reviews, they are all over the board, so I decided to give this place the benefit of the doubt. I can honestly say, my hubby and I both agreed we would never go back and quite honestly think it was the worst food we have ever had. We ordered the Chef's Special, Lemon Chicken and Shrimp Spring Rolls. The Spring Rolls were ok...just OK. The Chef's Special (a $38 plate) was down right awful. The shrimp was incredibly salty, the crab was so awful and fishy, I had to embarrassingly spit it out! All other meat on the plate was dry and obviously reheated. The veggies on the plate were fresh and fine, as was the rice. The Lemon Chicken was very sweet and just undesirable. Even our drinks, a cabernet and a vodka/soda were not even in the mediocre category. Service was just ok....maybe 2 stars. Language was somewhat of a barrier, but something we could over come, however the food was so bad, we would have complained, but felt it would have been too much effort to try and get our point across, so just left and decided we would never go back. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My employee ordered food today and the chicken was half cooked. She called there several times and was hung up on. She then went to the store to complain and the girl told her she didn't know how to refund money. The employee at Pho then "remade" the dish by pulling off the half cooked chicken and picking off as much green onion as she could and then gave it back to the customer; the customer asked for no onion on the initial order. I really wanted to love this place. It's so close to my house and I was optimistic. The atmosphere inside is decent, although i think they are trying hard to be a bar vs a strip mall Vietnamese restaurant (which is what I was looking for). We ordered spring rolls and beef pho. The food was neither terrible not amazing. It's less good than all the other Vietnamese food I've had in Colorado. However, it was the most expensive Vietnamese food I have eaten in CO. I will not return. If I want amazing pho nearby, I'll head to Pho Hau in Lakewood. They have rude service and lack in ambience, but their food is amazing. read more

My biggest complaint with most Pho restaurants is that the flavors get muddy. I really like the melange of crisp, sour, spicy, salty... but often it just becomes a big weird jumble of stuff that doesn't differentiate and has been too cozy for too long and all tastes the same. The Com Tom Nuong Grilled Shrimp Rice Plate worked out so nicely, that I didn't want to try anything else, and it tasted absolutely last-minute assembled. Everything light and crisp and distinct and the shrimp weren't overcooked to pasty gookiness.... yay....! You'll like the customer service here as well. :) read more

I have been going here since they opened and it just keeps going down hill- we keep saying we are not going to go there anymore but it's just convenient- tonight I called to order delivery the gal who answered the phone could not understand what I wanted- she finally got someone else on the phone and when i said delivery she repeated suddenly over and over again no delivery- (which I have had delivery from them many times and there website says they have it) but whatever ... so we ordered and they told me 5 min - my boyfriend gave them 10 min and when he went to pick it up they had never put in the order and he had to sit and wait for 15 min for the pick up which was only suppose to be 5 min but ended up being about 25 min- there service just keeps getting worse and there prices go up read more

We just tried Golden Pho two days ago and were pleasantly surprised. We normally have Pho at a cool little place on Federal Blvd, but were in Golden, so decided to give it a try. We were immediately seated. The waitress was very nice and efficient, although her english was a bit hard to undertand. We ordered two medium bowls and they came about 10 minutes later. The portion was huge, the flavor was excellent, and they were piping hot! We also had spring rolls and they were fresh and crisp. We enjoyed it very much. Highly recommended. read more

I am really bummed this place wasn't better. I love pho and have a favorite in the city but wanted to find somewhere closer. It did not live up to my standards. The vegetable broth was not cooked for 10 hours as the menu says. It was water with spices, and not good ones. When it says vegetarian I need it to BE vegetarian, it was not. They did not have a small option for pho so I paid $9 for a medium. Outrageous. Service was good and the woman who served us was very nice. This is the only reason I gave it 2 stars. Oh and because the decor was very pretty I loved all the plants. But the food was not good. We will not return. :( read more

I am a Pho' fanatic. I am so glad there is one open in Golden because that is where I live. I am a little disappointed though. Price wise it is more expensive than most Pho' places I usually go to. Their large Pho' is about $10 which I think a little on the expensive side for a restaurant like this. I ordered the large pho tai (rare steak) and I was really disappointed with the portion. I probably got about the same amount of food as a medium at my other favorite pho' places. The broth was excellent, the meat was a good cut but not much. The noodle was a little bit on the hard side. They should have cooked it a little longer. The service was good. They were not busy but it took them a while to prepare my pho. Usually at most Pho restaurant, the Pho come out a lot quicker because theoretically everything is cooked already and it should not take that long to prepare it especially when they are not busy. I have not tried the Bun yet but I have a feeling I will have about the same kind of review. If I remember correctly their combination Bun is even more expensive. I think around $12 or $13. Another negative thing about this restaurant is that they do old school credit card process! They take carbon print of my card instead using magnetic reader. I hate that. Overall, I will come back only if I am too LAZY to drive to Federal Blvd. or Pho' 95 in centennial. I would have given it a higher rating only if the price was lower AND OR the portion was larger. read more

I have eaten pho ever since it was shown to me by my lovely gf of all place I have never and I mean never have I gotten pho that has made me sick or feel sick. I honestly would tell you make the travel for other pho places and this one shouldn't be around as it's a disgrace to pho all around I may be over reacting but like I said pho should make you feel good not like your going to throw up immediately after eating it! I have been there 5 times now and I think they have the hang of it. The first two times they were having some trouble finding their flavor but since I am local I have to give them at least 3 strikes. I absolutely love this restaurant. The food is always delicious and fresh. The service is great and the family that owns the restaurant is just the most warm and friendly people you can find. They always have the most attentive waitstaff and the ambiance is wonderful. The vermicelli bowls are delish!, I go there at least once a week. If you want an egg roll on your bowl just ask...you can get any combo you want in the noodle bowl. The Pud Thai is fabulous....some of the best I've ever had. In fact I've never had anything there I didn't like! Give them a try, and go back for consistency of everything great! So happy to have them in our community! read more

This was my first pho experience. They asked us several times what we wanted right after we sat down, even though my date was going over the menu with me since I've never had pho before. After we ordered, our food came out relatively fast. She set the check down pretty quickly after our food arrived. While traveling we often make a pho stop or two and Pho Golden had some good reviews from fellow Yelpers so we decided to stop. The overall ambiance and service was good, especially by Vietnamese standards. The broth was excellent with lots of little bits of onions and other pho favorites. The meats were neither good nor plentiful. The brisket was quite fatty and the rare steak was a little too thick for that cut of beef. According to my Asian girlfriend, who eats such things, the tripe pieces were too small but the tendon was good overall. Lots of fresh veggie condiments helped, but three stars is all we can give the total experience. Perhaps I would have been better off with the vermicelli. read more

I live close by Pho Golden and enjoy getting takeout from here. I usually opt for takeout because when dining in the service can be somewhat difficult. The takeout is always hot and fast. The food here is reasonably priced and the portions are pretty big. I only have ever ordered dishes with pork or chicken in them, all of which have been consistent and tasty. Some of my most frequently ordered dishes have been the pork/veggie springs rolls and the chicken Pad Thai. I also really like ordering the grilled pork noodle bowl. read more

Good pho, decent noodle bowl, solid service. The staff was super nice to our 17mo old as well. To be honest, what may keep me from going back was all the TV's. I felt like i was in a sport's bar, but they were playing 30Rock on mute. It was incredibly distracting. And, the TV's didn't even have that great of reception! Great homemade food. Pho broth was really good. They provide you with a good assortment of condiments on table so you can doctor up the flavor of broth to your personal liking. Crab Rangoons & Shrimp rolls were very good & freshly prepared. It's in the corner of Plaza so don't overlook it. Being a chef I would highly suggest this place for you Asian noodle fix. read more

I am so sad there aren't more pho options in Golden so I can see why they have a 4 star. I've dined in once and ordered take out once. Dining in was good. Soup is clean, lacks a tad of flavor but overal was a decent experience. The prices are higher than average. Delivery was a way worse experience. They took almost 2 hrs after ordering. Our food was cold and soggy. We ordered egg rolls and pho with brisket and rare beef. I was MORTIFIED when I realized the raw meat and blood sat in our noodles for probably an hour. I chose not to eat the noodles with blood but my husband chose differently. Probably a good reason he had a stomach ache the rest of the evening....I was not impressed with their delivery service to say the least read more
