Do you think I wanted to write this review? My gut reaction is to give one star so that everyone will stay away. It's a diabolical plan to trick the masses into thinking that there is better Pho to be found somewhere else. It's easy, tell everyone this place is the worst and save all this delicious food for myself. There is just one problem, I believe in Karma. So, I will now begin the process of divulging the greatest Pho secret in Denver and thereby making the lines, and my wait, even longer at Pho Haus. When I get to Pho Haus, I know what I'm getting. I'm ordering the Haus Pho with Grilled Shrimp and it is literal heaven in a bowl. If the Haus Pho was a person, she would be a beautifully intelligent time traveler who goes back and stops 9-11, convinces Hitler to become a painter, and boards the Titanic only to seduce the Captain and persuade him to slow down and spend more lust filled hours aboard the greatest ship ever built. Eventually, she travels back to the Garden of Eden, meets up with Eve, tosses that damn apple aside and presents the Haus Pho, thereby altering everything we have ever known and creates an everlasting paradise for the rest of time. You think I'm exaggerating? When that bowl gets placed on the table, every negative feeling melts away and the only state of mind possible is peace. The Haus Pho has become my answer for everything and is borderline putting me in financial turmoil. All answers become Haus Pho. I'm not feeling well, should I see a doctor? Yeah, Dr. Haus... Pho. Who should I vote for in this presidential election? Mrs. Haus Pho, write it in. If one train is traveling at 50 MPH and the other train is heading directly towards the first train at a speed of 60 MPH, where will Jupiter be in its orbit when the trains collide? Easy one dummies! Right between Saturn and Mars hurtling through space at a velocity equal to but not greater than Haus Pho. Not sure what you should order because you've never ventured into the world of Pho. Just had their Phorrito (pho in burrito form). Fantastic. It's all the noodles, meats, greens, sprouts, etc of pho, but wrapped in a flour tortilla, and a bowl of the broth for dipping au-jus style. Holy crap it's so good. Such a fun and different vehicle to enjoy a tasty pho. I had their haus pho with the meat trio, both excellent. Their haus broth is delicious, one of the best pho broths I've had in Denver (it's a tad spicy already, but in a pleasant way, just heads up). The Phorrito is not currently on the menu (apparently it's fairly new), so you have to ask for it. My buddy got the meat trio vermicelli bowl, and said it was great. The place is small and very posh. Boom! I have finally found great pho in Denver served by really fantastic people. I've been there three times in the past month and a half...and I live in Parker, which should tell you something. The house pho is my favorite. I've. Fought my family as well and they agreed..wonderful full and richly flavored broth makes this pho tremendously addictive and delicious. Im sure everyone knows this already but... AMAZING. As a patron of many pho restaurants and previous worker in one, I can say the tradition pho broth is great and holds the taste very well (while other places nearby simply taste like spiced saltwater). Pho Haus provided us with great broths as well as very fresh ingredients for our take out order. Most places won't give you the bang for the buck that this place does. Over all incredible authentic taste with meaningful flavor and ingredients. Highly recommend. And their house broth is closer to a miso ramen for those looking for a fun change of pace read more

I have enjoyed phohaus for a few years. This time though brisket in pho was pretty stiff and hard to chew, and not really pleasant in flavor even after dipping in sauces. I was super disappointed with this restaurant. I had high hopes due to the reviews but the food was below mediocre. Especially since they had a spicy pho and I love spicy food! The spice was a 3/10 at best... The pork spring rolls were made with some sort of ham that has a similar texture to spam but honestly spam would have tasted better in it than whatever they put. Also they had fried wontons which were completely unnecessary since they didn't do any favors for the spring rolls. Overpriced, under seasoned, and bad service. I can overlook bad service if the food is good but here... definitely not. This definitely feels like a restaurant that cares more about catering to the tastes of CO yuppies than it does about making good pho. If you're white you might like it, respectfully. Solid pho and speedy service. I ordered the trio Haus pho and it was a lot of food for ~$12. Some reviews mentioned the Haus broth reminds them of bun bo hue, and I have to agree. It has a slight kick and subtle lemongrass flavor. It's a unique variation to traditional pho. Great on a warm fall day and I'm sure even better one cold winter day! If you are looking for a new pho experience then I'd give this place a shot. What I like about this place is that it doesn't have the traditional Vietnamese vibe. It's very contemporary in style. As for the food, they also take a unique spin on things. You can either: 1. Get traditional pho with the regular broth, which 99% of pho places use. 2. Get the haus pho which uses a spicier base. The spice is mild, so don't worry of you aren't a spice lover. It has the same base as bun bo hue, which is a different Vietnamese dish. All in all this place is pretty good. Decided to come on a Saturday night to try this place out and it was pretty packed when we came. Wait was about 15 minutes for two people so not too terrible. Pretty small inside so not recommended for super big parties. Tried their pho burrito and pork belly Banh mi slider. Both were excellent! Great flavors and portions. Although I would prefer regular bowl of pho over a burrito just because when I crave pho, I crave a big bowl of broth with noodles. I still recommend people to try the burrito though! Third time eating here, and it was great AGAIN. I literally couldn't stop eating the Haus Pho even though I was already super full. So good. I also had the pork spring rolls, which were interesting and flavorful. The pork is clearly prepped in house. I don't think I have ever addressed another yelper directly, but I just had to this time. Reviewer Colin, who has the only negative review of this place, made a comment alleging that Pho Haus was opened by a "California investment group" and referenced a "marketing team". If he took the time to even ask the staff a question before he makes baseless accusations, he would know that this place was opened by a nice young couple named Aaron and Annie and they use their family recipes for their dishes (I don't know them, I just asked politely). I've ordered the traditional pho, the haus pho, the spring rolls, and the banh xeo. All very delicious. The haus pho has a distinct whisper of bun bo hue--a very popular dish in my family, but I am unable to find restaurants who do it right. I am from Minnesota and was visiting Denver for a few days and decided to stop at this place for some pho due to the good reviews I saw on Yelp. I am so happy my sisters, mom and I came here because this place surely did not disappoint! Literally the best pho I have ever had and so wish that they were in Minneapolis! Absolutely delicious. The Pho broth has a very rich flavor and the add ins make it a prefect bite. The restaurant is small and cozy without feeling tight or uncomfortable. The wait staff was right on point with their visits to the table and kept our drinks full. Take the time to visit with the owner, Aaron, and you will definitely feel welcomed back for the next time. I've been in the restaurant industry for years and I'm not usually one to write a review or complain but our service was mediocre at best and our server seemed annoyed anytime we asked for something, she definitely killed the vibe. not sure if she was having a bad night, but that's not my problem if I'm being polite. to top it off I found a fly in my food. It wasn't her fault which I understood.lol she proceeds to say "I hope you guys come back, here's 15% off". The house pho was too spicy. The traditional pho was good, but only with the grilled chicken in it. The pho with plain chicken didn't seem to have much flavor.
