If you like satay, this dish is one that cannot be missed, satay sauce is a classic in many parts of Asia. This is the first time I have eaten it but feeling like missing out since I'm a satay lover. We drove all the way from Orange to try their special satay pho and briket and meatball pho, definitely worth the drive since not all the pho place have the same like what they have. There is also many others kind to choose from but I'm satisfied with what I ordered. The beef satay soup not as thick as real satay sauce but rich enough to create a lusciously creamy broth. The meatballs is delicious too, we even ordered extra $1 (for one meatballs cut it to half) for our kid. Should have get the $3 one because he wanted more after that. This restaurant is a chain from Canada and Pho Satay is what they're known for. Pho Satay: The best way to describe the taste is pho with the spring roll peanut dipping sauce mixed in with the soup. The soup was rich but not too thick where I couldn't sip on it or anything. This pho is on the sweeter end -- I definitely recommend trying it at LEAST once. When you order this to-go, it only comes in one size. Their pho is good and they offer chili sate! You can't go wrong with any of their options. They do have outdoor seating which is really nice. The to-go packaging was perfect. On the bottom tier of the bowl was the lightly cooked noodles, the top tier with the meats. They separate all the sides and sauces into another bag. If the soup isn't hot when you get home, I strongly encourage you to get it boiling hot so the noodles spread apart since they get stuck together by the time you get it home. This spot is a good option. I tend to go around noon on weekdays and has never been too busy to sit and get food expeditiously. It's quite convenient in that regard, while the prices are around average. I pay 21$ on a large pho bowl (I get a L no. 2) and an order of eggrolls together. I would like to start off that this is the one of the best pho places I tried. My family and I have been going to this place since 2020. Really great food. However last night made me change my opinion of this place. My fiancé and I went there and order two small steak pho and egg rolls. The waiter who was taking our order didn't seem to understand us and had to repeat himself twice. I don't mind repeating and I understand that the people working there don't understand English well. I don't have any problems with that. Now here's the issue: we were eating out pho and noticed that the egg rolls never came. A lady brought out egg rolls and placed it with other customer's table. We were almost done with the our pho and was wondering where was the egg roll. My fiancé asked the waiter to see where were the egg rolls and he said that he would check. Then another waiter came out with another set of egg rolls and went to the same customer table and saw that there were already egg rolls. I am assuming he knew the customer because he asked him and he was confused. The waiter in the black shirt said that those were ours. The waiter in red came by and put the egg rolls on our table. The issue is those egg rolls were sitting on another table for 10 minutes. He didn't touch them or anything, but decided to give us the old egg rolls and served, I assume his friend, fresh egg rolls. I told my fiancé to give it back since it ruined my mood a bit. My fiancé told the black shirt waiter to take him back. The waiter said he never touched them, but my fiancé said they were sitting there for too long. When we were finished, my fiancé went to paid for the meal and drinks, all three including the waiter in the black shirt and waiter in the red shirt (who served the customer new fresh egg rolls) looked at him if he was like a bad guy or something. Came into get some pho, the people who worked there didn't even look our way. We sat ourselves and waited for service but after about five minutes we got up and left. The sad thing is one of the waitresses was helping a table, two tables in front of us and still didn't acknowledge us. I get it most places for pho don't go for the service you go for the pho, but at the bare minimum they could have acted like we were servicing their place of business and not in like just a public place for fun. 3rd or 4th time coming here and have been getting the same order ever since. It's bomb.com I always get #2 rare steak & brisket and Vietnamese iced coffee. Both 10/10!! This place is so good and the staff was so friendly that I came twice this week. The first time, I tried the pho chin. Their broth was very flavorful where it does not take away the flavors of the noodles and the meat. My sister tried the Pho Satay and let me tell you, you will never taste anything like it. I believe this is the first location that has Pho Satay in Orange County. It is definitely worth the try. It is kind of spicy, so for those of you that cannot eat spicy, you have been warned. The second time I tried the vermicelli with BBQ-ed pork and chicken with eggrolls. I had never had vermicelli where there was two kinds of meat in there, so I thought it was going to be a lot, but it was a good amount of meat and their fish sauce goes perfect with it. Got to tried out a new pho joint in Little Saigon. The restaurant is super cleaned and nicely decorated for a Pho restaurant. I ordered a brisket, tendon small bowl and my brother ordered the special combo which included all the meat types. Broth was lean but super tasty and flavorful. The meats were fresh and delicious, got to talk to Joey, then owner and he told me that they're using USDA Choice for their meats, not some random beef from a supermarket. Also found out they're a well know pho chains established in Canada too (9 locations) and this is their 10th location. My next visit, I'm going to try their Pho Satay which is said to be their signature dish. By the way, i ordered a to go portion and love how they packed the food. The meats and noodle was packed into a plastic bowl that is microwave-able and can be used to consume in as well, very cool!!! read more

First time coming and I was greeted right away and we sat down. He brought us water and the menus and we asked about the menu and he was very kindly to answer our questions! I order grilled chicken and rice and my husband ordered the spicy peanut pho. The chicken for me was a bit chewy but the veggie rolls were delicious!! Don't come here if you want clean food. I ordered a spring roll, only to be disappointed that there was nose hair in it. It was multiple small hairs. After I complained, waiter took food back to chef and returned the food to me. To my dismay, the only thing they did was take out the original hair leaving a whole in the spring roll. They did not remake my food, and in fact, added more tiny hairs onto my spring roll. This was the evidence that implied the chef just got a fresh new hair cut and did not shower. read more

Really really loved the broth!! It was so delicious and flavourful, I was so pleasantly surprised. I'm not someone who's big on broth on ANY type of soup (not just pho) so often times I'll leave a lot of broth after my meal. But this broth was so flavourful and delicious my bowl was completely empty after I finished. The noodles were so nice and delicious and perfectly cooked as well, and the meat was not dry/tough at all-- sometimes a problem I run into with pho when the meat quality isn't too great. I ordered to-go, and really liked how everything was packaged and how easy it was to re-heat everything and plate everything. They put your pho in microwave safe containers so you can also eat it even if you're not home. The only thing I didn't like was the extra veggies they gave me (bean sprouts, mint) were like... so soapy for some reason? I had already put a bunch in my bowl when I started eating and it was too late to pick out so it was such a nightmare when I got some of them mid-bite and it tasted so soapy.
