I always enjoy the soups here , a small bowl for 10$ plus tax , that's super bargain ! & I get full off of it so even better ! The service is quick & easy , they are quick to the point lol I went super early so I it was quiet all around , I enjoyed my breakfast.

This is one of my favorite spots in Long Beach! I always order the rare steak pho, and it never disappoints. The broth is rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The service is also excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, and makes you feel welcome every time you visit!

First time to try this place across street from where i live. I've been eating a lot of Vietnamese food, however this one the broth tasted like way too much MSG... i don't mind if MSG been used but don't put too much. I ordered 2 meduim number 12. Spring roll "A" and extra broth came up to $43.43 too expensive. Meat cut too thin cant even see and taste the tendon. For me Im not planning to come back.

Was up in Long Beach and this restaurant was recommended. They have 4 different sizes of Pho! The largest one is huge! I ordered medium with rare beef. There was a generous portion of beef, however, it could have been a little more tender. Broth was good, maybe just a little too much fish sauce. We ordered a side of French fries. They were delicious!

This is my absolute go to spot for pho. Whether it's a rainy day or after a long night, this is the spot! The food never disappoints. The pho is always served HOT, beef super good and the greens super fresh. I always get the Chinese donut and a large pho. Sometimes I have enough to eat for a second meal. There is always plenty of staff and that makes the service amazing because they're always checking on you. The place has a casual vibe and some pretty cool art work.

There's not a huge Vietnamese population in Long Beach, especially compared to the nearby Little Saigon in Orange County. As a Vietnamese woman born and raised in Garden Grove, I have a pretty high bar for Pho. Pho Hong Phat is a great option for those in Long Beach that don't want to make the trek out to the OC. I think that it is casual, approachable, and pretty good in terms of quality and flavor. It;s not the best Pho, but it will satisfy your craving.

    Pho Tai (rare steak)

Ordered a medium #1 Pho Tai with rare steak and delicious. Perfect flavor, nice portion balance of noodles vs steak, and enjoyed the condiments. I added some red chili paste for a little heat. Atmosphere was nice but expect it to be a little noisy if it's busy. Staff is amazing and work as unit to provide great customer service.

Brought my grandma to try the Banh Sung that she always asks me for. It was good, but typically they use larger vermicelli noodles in banh sung. It was supposed to be topped with coconut cream but they had forgotten that. I had the Hainan chicken rice which was pretty good. The rice was a little dry, but it was flavorful. Their fish sauce here is really good though, we loved it. It seems a lot of people were coming in to try the pho or kuyteav, so we'll be back to try that next. Glad to see them offer both Vietnamese pho and Cambodian noodle soup!

This place is pretty good! Warm and cozy, the flavor of the pho is good, I do think there is better places but this place is pretty good, going again!

Came here on Saturday around 2:00pm. Parking lot in the back. Fairly busy. First room is small around 5 tables. Near counter small snacks. Service was ok. Ordered the 5 veggie egg rolls. They were crunch and tasted really good. Ordered the. Well done brisket and flake size small. Meat was good and noodles were thin. Broth was alright wish it was more flavorful on its own. All in all good for a one time try.

Came here for Sunday lunch and had plenty of space to sit. The service was incredibly attentive! our waiter must have refilled our water every 5 mins lol! Super sweet! The food came out fast, and the soup had amazing flavor, rich and comforting. Prices were great for the quality. Also the bathrooms were super clean! Definitely a solid spot for pho, and I'd happily come back!

    Vermicelli with grilled pork

I got vermicelli with grilled pork which was tasty. My friend got Pho beef combo. I also got iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. You know it's authentic when your coffee comes with a tiny spoon in the glass cup. Reasonable price and nice service.

It's quite small inside, so very understandable. The menu is quite extensive, with a selection of noodle soups and pan fried noodles. The event started at 6 pm, and we expected the seven course dinner to begin around 7 pm, but they didn't start serving until almost 8 pm. By then, everyone was getting hungry. The servers also didn't check on any of the tables throughout the dinner. They simply brought out each course and left. They even started cleaning up about 30 minutes before the event ended. That would've been fine if the tables had been empty, but they actually asked us to get out of our seats so they could remove the table and chair linens. As for the food, some dishes were good while others were just average: Traditional cold plate: 4/5 - I liked the century eggs, and the pickled vegetables were refreshing. Beef steak with anchovy sauce: 3/5 - The beef was well seasoned and nicely charred, but it didn't come with the anchovy sauce that was listed on the menu. House special lobster with egg noodles: 4/5 - The lobster was good, and the noodles were flavorful, but they could've been cooked a little longer since they were a bit too al dente for my taste. Crab meat soup: 3/5 - The soup was thick and flavorful, but it barely had any crab. I'm not sure what else was in it, but it had white square pieces that reminded me of chicharrones with a seafood flavor. House special fried rice: 4/5 - It was flavorful and had plenty of Chinese sausage, but I wish it had more shrimp. Sweet and sour fish and shrimp soup: 3/5 - There was an ingredient I wasn't a fan of. I think they added mint, which gave the soup an unusual flavor. It just wasn't for me. Taro dessert: 4/5 - This was pretty good and was a nice way to end the meal. Overall, I don't see myself coming back to dine here. The food was decent, but there are just too many better restaurants to choose from.
