Pho house is our spot for weekly "Sunday Pho!" My kids Will Not eat pho anywhere else! The food is consistently delicious, and Anna is the sweetest lady!

This place is clearly run by a Korean family. Right away, the older woman working here was very welcoming and incredibly sweet to my son which set a positive tone for our visit. The menu does offer Korean dishes but given the name of the place, we opted to stick with pho. In hindsight, that may not have been the best choice. The pho dish is being recreated by Koreans without fully capturing what makes pho special. Traditional pho broth is usually a slow simmered beef bone broth that's rich, aromatic and layered with flavor from spices like star anise, cloves, charred onions etc. The broth here was much more bland and seemed to rely heavily on fish sauce rather than that deep, comforting flavor pho is known for. Even the toppings felt incomplete. They didn't offer the usual herbs like mint or thai basil and just offered cilantro and bean sprouts. Honestly, the soup felt flat and lacked balance. Shrimp rockets were decent but the pho itself just wasn't memorable.

It was my first time here, came around 8pm on a weekday. It wasn't busy at all and wasn't greeted right away to have chosen our own seats/booth. I got the Brisket Large Pho, it's a lot of noodles and not enough meat. The flavor wasn't strong as ik and like my pho; again it's like a Korean spin to Pho. It's outdated inside and the bathrooms have gnats flying. But I'm okay with being able to try this place out. Their egg rolls were good.

The pho is great! Great flavors!! Each tables comes with the chili sauce and the hoison sauce to make to your likings! Only negative is the little amount of limes,cilantro and bean sprouts What's did we order? -1 plain pho (small) -1 veggie pho (large) -1 order of egg rolls (10/10) Both were great but order the small bc the size difference is very minimal. Free hot tea at the self serve station! The atmosphere is a typical Vietnamese restaurant.. no frills kind of place There really isn't a grade for service! Since the woman was really just order taker! No interaction! Also you get up to pay! We learned the hard way and waited and waited! Overall, we will return!

Unique Korean Pho noodles and items we ordered were tasty. The lady who owns this place and served us was friendly. We are not in Buena Park area, but when we pass by we always come to this place. Yummy food, quality ingredients and I hope they will do good in the business.

The pho broth is not the strongest at this place. I would say it's a decent pho if you're hungry and don't want to wait in a long line. It was pretty empty when I went there. Service is good and the place is pretty clean. You can get self service hot tea.

Yesterday marked the start of Lent for us Catholics. While visiting the town of Buena Park, my wife and I stumbled upon a little restaurant called Pho House. The service was fast, and the food was delicious. I mostly stuck with seafood when ordering. I didn't take many pictures, but the one I did take of this seafood pho already makes me want to go back. Hopefully, we can visit again soon--the fish cake, clams, and shrimp perfectly satisfied my seafood craving. Nice atmosphere as well if your in the area git it a try.

Pretty good pho. Not the best I've ever had. The noodles were pretty underdone or just kind of bad tasting... portions were pretty decent. Service was fine. I wouldn't go back. They did have some interesting options though. A Korean pho place. Unique for sure.

This place was pretty good. More pros than cons. The main con might be a big one for pho enthusiast. The broth is not traditional and it's not the best but it's not bad. It's just ok. But the service was great and fast. The price for the amount was good overall I was really satisfied. Oh and the review that mentioned they didn't try the coffee because the broth was but traditional, you missed out. Coffee was amazing. read more

You can't really go wrong with pho. We stop by to get some rare brisket pho, and this place hit the spot. The flavor was great. The meat was fresh , and the noodles were prefect. We got the small bowl which was more then enough. I loved that they had a good amount of brisket in the small bowl. I will say that this pho was a tab bit oily then usual, but Nothing crazy where it's a deal breaker. Service was great. Definitely coming back. read more

The pho & egg rolls are EXCELLENT. Had the honor to talk to the owner and learned how the broth and egg rolls are made. The broth is made from scratch and you can tell by the flavor and color. The egg rolls are also made by hand so they are crispy and filled with yumminess. Definitely will be back! read more

I have been going to this place for over a year now and I was so close to going to a different pho place. I'm glad they kept the thick slices of chicken breast for the Pho, the thin slices were driving me away. Delicious Pho, Great Service, Great Price! What else do you need? P.S. The service was average but the free Thai tea and banana roll dessert was great. Hygiene was average, the server used his bare hands to grab our bean sprouts and cilantro for our pho. $14 for a large mediocre pho. Their tendon pho is considered "premium" and the meat inside is equivalent to spam. Service is nonexsistent.

Pho House is soo amazing!!! This is legitimately my spot to go to after a long day at work!!! Best Pho around! Best Porkchops! Wifi!!! This is a pretty good Pho place and for the price it's great! I bought the #7 Small with Egg Rolls. The Pho is the way to go with this place. They open at 7am so if hot soup in the morning is what you need. Check this place out. read more

THEY GIVE YOU FREE THAI TEA with your order!!! Sometimes they forget to but we're all human, so just kindly ask for free Thai tea :) This pho place is my family's all-time favorite place to go whenever we crave pho which is at least once a week. The service here is incredible. They kept checking up on me whether I needed extra steamed sprouts or sliced onions or extra soup. The workers here are family-like especially Grace!! My parents love her, and we missed her thinking she stopped working here, but she was just gone for the weekdays... haha She's always here on the weekends, so if you see her here, you're in good hands! They have this special type of spicy pho and I always come here to eat it because nowhere else has it. You can try ordering that when you want to try something different. Sometimes it's difficult to find parking, so do make note of that especially during weekend nights. Don't let this stop you from coming here. It's worth the parking struggle! I think :) read more

We've been coming here but today is gonna be the last day. The woman is rude and giving sarcastic laughs when I'm trying to explain to her about the order. She charged us for something we didn't order. I don't mind paying the amount but I would appreciate it if she would own up to her mistake and didn't let us feel like we were trying to scam her. We are not stupid to order 2 vietnamese iced coffee and dalgona iced coffee at the same time for 2 people! If the customer is trying to explain and not arguing, the owner/woman should listen first before giving unnecessary facial reaction! read more

After so many years, I still love this place. Kyoung is an amazing server, attentive and friendly. Jina is helpful and cheerful as well. The food is consistent and delicious. They have THEE BEST house made kimchi I have ever tasted. If you get a chance, try the fried rice, it's amazing. Their bahn mi is also one of the best I've had. Also, the banana rolls for dessert are good. This is my favorite place for pho anywhere. I will continue to come back. read more

Woohoo! Pho! Came by after Disneyland and it was definitely worth it. This shop definitely isn't a super authentic Vietnamese Pho shop but it caters more to those who are looking for a lighter pho broth. The flavors were all there but it was definitely lighter so if you're looking for that, this place is the spot for you! Pho: I got the chicken pho and it was fantastic! It was a light chicken broth that some depth to it. A lot of noodles (or maybe I wasn't super hungry) and a good amount if sliced chicken (way better than shredded chicken in my opinion) The warm broth was definitely a great welcome after getting wet at disneyland. Vibes/Parking: A very typical spot. The restaurant itself was clean. There was also a lot of parking because it's a shop within a larger plaza so parking is abundant. Service: Service was great. Our food came out in a timely manner so no complaint. Definitely appreciated that they weren't in a rush to kick us out of the restaurant. A solid spot for a light pho! read more

Not a fan of the customer service . Our server asked us what we wanted to drink. I went first and said I wanted a Thai tea and water , she said 'okay' and walked away without asking my friend what she wanted . She then takes our food order & seems confused by me saying I wanted brisket while my friend wanted the steak. She comes back with our food and says the number of the food instead of what is what. Then eventually hands us the right bowls. Overall, not my favorite place . Mainly because of customer service read more

Came here on a late Monday night for some pho. I ordered some shrimp spring rolls and my friend got a combination pho. The pho was average, nothing special. The spring rolls came out pretty quickly. The shrimp was ok, not the freshest. I liked the peanut sauce that accompanied the spring rolls though. Also they have free Thai tea! It's a sweet deal. The Thai tea is very light and not too sweet. Would come here again if I wanted something cheap and fast. read more

Korean owned Vietnamese restaurants always miss the boat on the traditional south east Asian flavors of mint, basil, fish sauce, etc...With my pho, I want a side of sticks and leaves, not sliced onions!!! Pho House sort of comes off as a Korean-Viet fusion joint with their Kimchi pho and other Korean inspired dishes. Neither of the orders of regular pho and kimchi pho we had were particularly interesting and for that reason, we won't be back. read more

They just have different portions of meat, but you can't go wrong with any of them. Service is quick. The servers dont really check up on you as often but you can easily just flag them down if you need them. The restauant is usually always full, but because people eat fast and service is fast, it is not a long wait time. Portion size is always consistent and large if you get the big bowl. Bathrooms are clean and accessible. Parking lot is small though, so it may be more convenient to park on the lot next to the Filipino market next door and just walk if you can't find any parking.

I got sticky rice and creme brûlée iced coffee along with the shrimp salad appetizer to try. Food came out relatively fast. The food presentation looked appealing. I have to say the shrimp salad was delicious, crunchy, cold, with robust flavor. I could eat that on my own! My friends really liked it too. I didn't try her fried rice, but she said it was tasty. My sticky rice was also good with traditional Vietnamese flavors was what I expected from xoi. Creme brûlée coffee was very decadent. I drank half and saved other half for the next day. Overall we had a lovely experience. What made it extra nice was the fact that they brought out a an ice cream dessert for my friend with a candle and everything! Came here with a large group of over 15 after an event. The restaurant is of decent size. Good: Fortunately, we didn't have to wait to be seated. Our group was split into 2 groups, but we were seated right away. The customer service was very good. They topped off our waters whenever we needed, and they promptly provided sliced onions, lemons, bean sprouts, cilantros at our request. The food came out relatively fast for each person in our group with different combination of orders (Egg and spring rolls, Pho, fried rice, vermicelli, rice with diced steak). (I've been to other Pho where my friends and I had to wait over 45 minutes for the food to be served!). I ordered garlic diced steak with rice and it was very good. The beef wasn't jerky or chewy, but soft. The marinade was good and sweet. The food cost I say is on the low side. Ok: The egg rolls and spring rolls were ok. The Pho was ok. Nothing special. Bad: Something about the taste quality of water of almost all Pho places seems to be the same - tap water. I don't know why... Food Rating Garlic diced steak 5/5 Egg and spring rolls 3/5 Pho 3/5 Overall, this Pho is a good place to dine in for a small or large group since the food comes out fast and the service is good. I crave for this place's pho often. It's packed when it's raining because everyone wants to eat pho when it's gloomy and so do i. If you are looking for the original pho place, it is not recommended. But this is the only place that sells many kinds of other side Vietnamese food. I've been to pho 21 but somehow, i just like pho house better! I always eat pho number 3, small size (sometimes large) with a spring roll. Their water used to taste like bad tap water but now they don't. Oh and avoid ordering donkatsu there because they use like a pork tender that's been in the freezer for month. At least they taste like it. Just go to yoko few blocks away if you want donkatsu. Service is actually very good. i usually spend under or a little bit over 10 dollars and i think it's really reasonable. It just makes me so happy eating pho there and eating frozen yogurt after for dessert. *My favorite Pho place!* =] read more

In the past, I would have rated this place a 4 star. I've ended up here several times given it's proximity to where I live. Unfortunately, I think the consistency has declined. I've had the best spring rolls and the most mediocre spring rolls here. I've had delicious favorable pho of various types, and I've had pho that I basically couldn't finish. I'm not giving up yet, because the good experiences had me at hello, but fingers crossed they can step up the game back to it's original glory. read more

If you are looking for an authentic pho restaurant, this is not the place. This is Korean owned and has weaker smell and spice than the original pho. BUT, since this place is the most closest to my house i always go there. It's pretty good and cheap and... has stable taste. BUT BUT BUT!!! The server didn't give me a change considering that's a tip for her to keep. It made me kinda mad.. She never came back with the change.. Happened twice! read more

Tried this spot for the first time in June of 2024 and fell in love. Have been there at least 20 times in the past 7 months. Brought my parents, sister in law and they had nothing but only positive things to say. I recommend the beef spring rolls, they have an extra crunch to them and hits the spot. Service is great. Went to eat here last night with my kids and husband. Small restaurant for a large selection of food. Cheap price is well deserved with free thai ice tea. I give it a 3 star because my stomach felt upset afterwards. Not sure if it was the meat or broth but will come back when the time is right. read more
