Best Jjajangmyun in OC, especially the Gogi (meat) version. It solved all my complaints of normal jjajangmyun not having enough meat in it. It's a bit on the sweet side compared to traditional Korean Chinese restaurants, but it works well as it's mildly salty and more savory. Most other places are bland, salty, and greasy. Gogi Jjamppong too! Very nice soup that hits the spot.

No sea food. Just noodles and cabbage.. shocked how bad this place is

Shocked.. no sea food just noodles and cabbage. Go to the buena park one. Its so much better. I do not recommend here

Only been here once and only tried jajangmyeon twice. This place is way better than the other one I've tried before. The black bean sauce wasn't too tick and filled with delicious onions and meat. The portion is huge! Also tried the crispy pork and that was really good too. Reminded me of something like orange chicken. Ask for the sauce in the side so when you take it hope it'll be easier to reheat. Also they don't skimp on he black bean sauce, so what we did was take home the sauce and made rice to enjoy together.

We ordered 24 wings and split it to try the soy garlic, K-sweet chili and Seoul spicy. Oh my! Generous size and served piping hot. Crunchy outside with tender chicken inside. It's been a while since we came and we're happy and satisfied. Plenty of seating and the service is good. Attended to in good time and didn't have to wait long to get our food. We often had to get up and look for a server, which made things a bit inconvenient. That said, the food was definitely the highlight. The soy garlic chicken wings were really good flavorful and well-executed. The fries also stood out and were surprisingly one of our favorite items. The ambience is pretty chill, with enough space for everyone to have their own conversations without it feeling too crowded or loud. Overall, the food is worth trying, but just be prepared for slower service, especially during busier times.

Are the servers nice? NO! Is the price decent? NO! Here's my reasoning: I used to bring my grandfather here because he loved their soup. If I didn't bring him I would buy the galbi tang and take it to him. And back then the service was amazing, the ajummas were so nice and would get you extra servings of banchan and brisket sauce but sadly throughout the years they've become very stingy and just plain out rude. I understand the cost of inflation and it's very real but I used to get their galbi tang for less than $10. At this rate it's costing me $27 for a bowl of soup and no extra gimme with not even a smile. Will I still be back? Yes but not like before. With the competition out here there are other places to go but I do keep coming back. Oh what's a girl to do. Will I recommend this place? That's a hard NO.

The sleeper item of this whole meal however was the mash potatoes. extremely creamy, smooth, and rich. we also ordered the calamari as an appetizer (pictured not included) and the sauce was good, the calamari itself was okay in terms of taste, but the presentation was unique. it was the first time ive ever had to cut up my own calamari. scissors were given with the dish, and instead of the typical rings, it was more like whole squids fried up.
