Pho house is our spot for weekly "Sunday Pho!" My kids Will Not eat pho anywhere else! The food is consistently delicious, and Anna is the sweetest lady!

This place is clearly run by a Korean family. Right away, the older woman working here was very welcoming and incredibly sweet to my son which set a positive tone for our visit. The menu does offer Korean dishes but given the name of the place, we opted to stick with pho. In hindsight, that may not have been the best choice. The pho dish is being recreated by Koreans without fully capturing what makes pho special. Traditional pho broth is usually a slow simmered beef bone broth that's rich, aromatic and layered with flavor from spices like star anise, cloves, charred onions etc. The broth here was much more bland and seemed to rely heavily on fish sauce rather than that deep, comforting flavor pho is known for. Even the toppings felt incomplete. They didn't offer the usual herbs like mint or thai basil and just offered cilantro and bean sprouts. Honestly, the soup felt flat and lacked balance. Shrimp rockets were decent but the pho itself just wasn't memorable.

It was my first time here, came around 8pm on a weekday. It wasn't busy at all and wasn't greeted right away to have chosen our own seats/booth. I got the Brisket Large Pho, it's a lot of noodles and not enough meat. The flavor wasn't strong as ik and like my pho; again it's like a Korean spin to Pho. It's outdated inside and the bathrooms have gnats flying. But I'm okay with being able to try this place out. Their egg rolls were good.

The pho is great! Great flavors!! Each tables comes with the chili sauce and the hoison sauce to make to your likings! Only negative is the little amount of limes, cilantro and bean sprouts What's did we order? -1 plain pho (small) -1 veggie pho (large) -1 order of egg rolls (10/10) Both were great but order the small bc the size difference is very minimal. Free hot tea at the self serve station! The atmosphere is a typical Vietnamese restaurant.. no frills kind of place There really isn't a grade for service! Since the woman was really just order taker! No interaction! Also you get up to pay! We learned the hard way and waited and waited! Overall, we will return!

Unique Korean Pho noodles and items we ordered were tasty. The lady who owns this place and served us was friendly. We are not in Buena Park area, but when we pass by we always come to this place. Yummy food, quality ingredients and I hope they will do good in the business.

The pho broth is not the strongest at this place. I would say it's a decent pho if you're hungry and don't want to wait in a long line. It was pretty empty when I went there. Service is good and the place is pretty clean. You can get self service hot tea.

Yesterday marked the start of Lent for us Catholics. While visiting the town of Buena Park, my wife and I stumbled upon a little restaurant called Pho House. The service was fast, and the food was delicious. I mostly stuck with seafood when ordering. I didn't take many pictures, but the one I did take of this seafood pho already makes me want to go back. Hopefully, we can visit again soon--the fish cake, clams, and shrimp perfectly satisfied my seafood craving. Nice atmosphere as well if your in the area git it a try.

Pretty good pho. Not the best I've ever had. The noodles were pretty underdone or just kind of bad tasting... portions were pretty decent. Service was fine. I wouldn't go back. They did have some interesting options though. A Korean pho place. Unique for sure.

I love that you order off their kiosk which is conveniently located at the table already. The staff was quick to bring out the banchan. To start, we shared their leek pancake and pork blood sausage. For my lunch I went with their cold noodles since it was a cold day. The people I came with had some pork spare ribs, which came with rice and bone knee soup. And a bibimbap. The leek pancake was the best thing there. The pork blood sausage was more of rice noodles rolled up with pork blood flavored. I can't imagine it being much portion. Eveything else was bland which we all agreed to. For my cold noodles I added plenty of vinegar and mustard but it was not it. Still lacked flavor. Also it only had half a boiled egg and two verythin slices of beef. The pork was over cooked, dry, and lacked flavor. The bibimbap was also bland even with their red sauce. We we were all disappointed. The pricing is affordable. The staff was nice and quick. They made sure to check up on us. Parking here is a tough even though it was a weekday. Their lot was full and you can park next door but by the dental office but that was also full. We waited a little and eventually found parking. The restaurant is very casual, clean and spacious. This was just really meh to me.

I was quoted 20 minutes, and got seated within that quoted time frame. The restaurant is brightly lit with robot servers circling the floor. I ordered on an iPad at my table. I picked the combo meal with beef bulgogi and a seafood soft tofu soup. The banchan came out first and it was so delicious. There was kimchi, potato salad, bean sprouts, anchovy, kimchi cucumber and fishcake. When the entrees arrived, it was sizzling hot. The bulgogi was on a hot plate and the soft tofu soup was steaming. I nibbled a bit on the bulgogi and sipped on the seafood soft tofu soup. The meal was hearty and filling. The soup was not skimpy at all. Tons of seafood and tofu inside. And the bulgogi was soft and marinated well. I like how Kaju Soft Tofu has non-spicy food options. I was worried because most Korean places have spicy items, but at least there's alternatives for me to eat here.

Our server, Jenny Park, gave us excellent service. All the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Overall, a very nice restaurant. Only one drawback (reason for a 4 star review) is they charge a mandatory.18% gratuity for groups of 5 or more. This was fully disclosed (unlike many other restaurants). I feel that the gratuity should be voluntary, not mandatory. With restaurant prices rising 3-5 times the rate of inflation and higher salaries for restaurant workers, tips should not increase at the same rate.

I will say that mine was very tendon heavy, so if that's not your preference, I'd lean away from the premium gomtang. My partner liked his yukgaejang.
