Our family had a craving for pho and we were very excited to go to Pho Hut. We have been there before and enjoyed the food. However, tonight when we arrived, the tables were not ready and there was a slight wait which was not a big deal. However, they did not even acknowledge us or the four other parties that were waiting and there were 5 tables that were available. We were very frustrated with the lack of customer service and the employees ignored us and were unfriendly. We ended leaving after waiting for 15 minutes and will never return again. I've been coming to this place for 10 years now. It's sad to say that the quality of the food went down while the price went up. The egg rolls portions wise are half of what they used to be. I used to tolerate the below average service because the food was delicious and affordable but not anymore. We got the food here but couldn't eat it right away, so we had it the next day. Well, tried to. The spring rolls, which are usually so delicious, for some reason tasted like they went bad in the most extreme way. I couldn't even bring myself to have any . If you have an hour to kill before having a bowl of pho then this is your spot! My order wasn't taken until I'd been seated for 15 min, I ordered a single bowl of pho and a cup of water and waited 35 min to get served, but my food never came. I heart pho! I've been to a lot of different places including the OG places in the San Fernando Valley (woot woot!). The portions were good, they didn't jip you on the meat and the egg rolls were awesome. Parking is kinda a pain but still a great spot to hit up when you need some comfort asian food! read more

Smelly is a good word. From the wilted bean sprouts to smelly water cup along with MSG ridden beef broth the whole thing just stinks. Did I mentioned mysterious flying insects that bit my son's leg while eating? Commercial dishwashers need disinfectant to clean dishes correctly. They need to buy some. They need to throw away old veggies. They need to vacuum the floor and clean the walls and take the grease off to get rid of flying insects. Mind you, this is perfectly fine for Glendale standards. For the non-Glendale residents you need to go elsewhere. To add insult to injury the place is not even cheap. read more

From what I hear this place expanded and bought out the boba place next door. This is my first time eating pho in glendale, but not my first time eating pho. I am a frequent visitor of pho restaurants in little saigon in westminister and have had some that are better than others. I would have to say the pho at this place was actually better than I expected and was on par with places i considered to be good in little saigon; however, the prices here are much more than little saigon. I would have to assume they're trying to make some extra profit after buying out the bobba place. I also tried their spring rolls and they are served fresh with tasty peanut sauce (a little thicker than I would prefer). I haven't been to the 24-hour pho place in the glendale area, but I would come back here if I was craving pho and was in the glendale area again. I just wish their prices were a bit cheaper as we shouldn't be paying this much for vietnamese soup and I would probably frequent this place more often especially that winter is coming soon! read more

Wow.......new friends took me on a long walk to get to Pho Hut and it was WORTH it! Fast delivery to our table of the freshest food, the most delicious broth and vegetables in the tofu/mushroom/broccoloi/carrot Pho (soup). The portion was enough for two people but I couldn't stop eating it, it tasted that good. And I'm not a vegetarian. I could eat here every day if I lived closer, no kidding. read more

Came here because we were hungry and found there was no wait here, unlike the massive lines across the street. It wasn't that busy and we were served fairly quickly. My issue was the quality of the food. I ordered the noodles with the salad, egg roll and pork and really ended up just getting lettuce and bean sprouts. There was hardly a noodle to be found. Their Pho has TOO MUCH MSG. I asked the server & she confirmed that they use MSG. The 4 times I have eaten here I got very bad headaches. The meatballs have alot of gristle. Also, the 1st time I ate at Pho Hut It seemed like the kind of place that reuses bean sprouts, basil & jalapenos that are served on the side along with the pho. I was really turned off by the Yelp review by Jessica C. She says she worked there & they do reuse the left overs. I guess that is why the Jalapeno slices were kinda dried aound the edges; not fresh. The waiters are so ignorant and rude. They are slow and always look mad. The food is decent but their service is shit. Believe me.

One of our favorite pho places within a 3 mile radius. Parking is usually not a problem, although it can get harder when carousel next door is having a banquet. The beef cuts are excellent, especially the tendon. We usually get a pho #1 and a grilled pork bun. The fried egg rolls in the bun can act as trade bait for anything in someone else's meal. read more

I came here to eat for lunch and was hoping that they would make awesome pho, but the downside was that I asked for no MSG in it and they lied. Pho does not have a tasty flavor without the MSG and my body does not take well to MSG. I know they make one big pot and add a lot of MSG because no MSG takes up to 5-8 hrs to make the broth. Only wish they had 2 separate kinds, one with MSG and one without it. Even my girlfriend is Vietnamese and she can tell right away the difference in MSG pho and home made pho. read more

If you are looking for the original PHO experience this is NOT the place to go. Nothing was brought to the table on time, and the Pho was watered down. I've been here before and it was never like this. When they get busy, it seems they just add water to make more. Here are the details: Who doesn't crave Pho on a cold, and wet Tuesday afternoon? 3 of us got there at 12:15 to see a busy restaurant with a waiting list. As we were waiting for out table we noticed how fast and frantic the workers were. One server wowed us as he was multitasking at least 6 different orders running from one end of the restaurant to the other. Phone was ringing off the hook and unpaid checks were starting to back up. We finally sat down to experience amazing pho, but unfortunately that's when it started to go down hill. Everyone knows you have to have everything ready from the sauce to the spicy and especially the onions. Nothing came on time and some items never even made it to us. We had the egg rolls, but no sauce. We had the pho but no onions. We must have asked at least 20 time to 3 different staff members. After waiting for 10 minutes we walked to the counter just to get some forks. When the pho arrived it was very light in color and didn't have the taste I expected. Since I had been here before I know what to expect and that was not right. It was obvious that them being so busy caused a shortage in broth and water was added to make more. I expressed my concern with the manager/owner, but nothing was delivered. Eventually we left our table with our food half done and our experience destroyed. When we were paying our check I expressed to the manager/owner my concerns but she giggled and brushed it off. I expressed to her that I was serious and it was not a laughing matter, but she smiled, and brushed it off as she provided me my change. Very Disappointing! read more
