Went here for the first time for lunch with my cousins. The place was nice. Pretty simple inside. It has a casual and relaxed vibe with plenty of seating so it's a Comfortable spot for lunch. The food was good and we enjoyed our meal. The service was okay. Overall, a nice first visit and a good spot for a casual meal.

I first went to Pho Ivy when they first changed names, but hadn't returned since. Maybe I wasn't impressed when the first opened years ago, but I really enjoyed my recent visit. I had the B8 (pho). Good portion, lots of meat. Broth was flavorful; seemed to be high in fat content. They do get busy. Service was pretty quick and friendly. As Elk Grove has gone through more and more development in recent years, parking in this lot has become not so easy to find at times.

First time customer, was craving something soup based and came across Pho Ivy. Noticed the outdoor seating and store front. A few tables outside and upon entering, menus are up front. You order and pay first and choose a table to sit and the staff will bring your order to you. Since it's a lovely and sunny day, we had chose to sit outdoors. Our meal arrived within five minutes after ordering. Very fast service. I order the Pho Chicken, very flavorful. Delicious broth. Enjoy my meal, affordable and delicious. I would highly recommend. Will likely return in the future.

Finally tried the bun bo hue after so many friends recommending this place!! Definitely did not miss and hit the spot immediately after the first sip, really flavorful broth. So much meat and the noodles weren't too big which I prefer. They were so busy even on a weekday too so that definitely speaks for itself. Plenty of tables and service was fairly fast despite them being so busy. Definitely recommend the BBH here!

This has been my go-to ever since Pho Le closed, but I stick more to the E1 grilled pork over vermicelli rice noodles and not so much the pho. Phone-in orders are convenient, pay at pickup, wait times not bad on weekends. They open pretty early, at 10AM if you're wanting to beat the lunchtime rush. Lots of tables inside; they don't really have anywhere designated for waiting so either take a table outside or inside if it's free. The marinade for the grilled pork is also on the sweeter side. The peanuts come as whole/halves rather than chopped. Their nuoc cham sauce leans more on the sweet side rather than fishy, and their peanut sauce for the shrimp spring rolls is just okay.

The food was great and the servers were so kind & attentive. They check on you occasionally which is nice. Overall, had a really great experience & will be coming back! Their Thai tea is one of the better ones i've had too.

This place seems to be very popular and always busy every time I come here. None of the food disappoints and everything I had so far was very tasty! The ambience is ok but not great and I dislike the A/C and fans blowing even on a cold cloudy day! I definitely will be back! Enjoy

We Ordered through DoorDash this time Ordered rare steak pho And rare steak with meatball pho The broth is very tasty - the portions are a good size for a large, I got full off half. I was able to request extra hoisin packets and they actually honored my request which I very much appreciated! The to go order comes with a box of the noodles, the protein and the greens (cilantro, green onion and sliced white onion) Then the broth comes in a separate container And then they give a bag of basil, bean sprouts, a slice of lemon and sliced jalapeño with one hoisin and one sriracha packet. The rare steak was good quality as well. Very happy with our order especially the taste of the broth! Will definitely be ordering from here again!

Very good solid spot for Pho! If you're craving pho I'd definitely recommend coming here. The portions are big and priced pretty fair. We got the B1 (combination) and B2 (rare steak). The broth came out piping hot and has good flavors. There was also a good amount of meat and toppings. Only downside is that service isn't the fastest and there's usually a wait.

I ordered takeout. Order was ready when I arrived and packaged well. Both rice plates were tasty.

We got here right when it opened. The place is contemporary, decorated beautifully with light-medium tone wood, and gives you a relaxing vibe. The service was good giving we were there right when they opened, menus came out, water, then ordered. It was a bit early for me to eat as I tend to not eat until afternoon. I got the Combination Pho B1. The broth was clear foggy, done right, however not as flavorful nor fragrant as I could not taste some of the key spices, specifically star anise. I tend to like my pho a bit more rich in beef flavor, whereas this place was a little less so.

Came here for dinner and it was super busy. No one greeted us or told us that there is a sheet to put your name down so some time was wasted standing around. The restruant is pretty small and feels cramped especially when full. When seated we didn't get menus or anything until after we asked. They took our order and the food came out. But we still didn't have any utensils so we had to wait again for them to ask them to bring it. The pho is pretty standard nothing stood out or amazed me. I do like that they load it with green onions/cilantro and don't skimp like other places. Overall an acceptable place for pho.

Pho ivy is a decent pho restaurant. The restaurant was full with a quick rotation of people waiting and leaving. A sign of a good pho restaurant. I ordered the combination pho, which arrived with a generous assortment of meats was plentiful and satisfying. The noodles were springy and well-cooked. The broth itself was just okay but unremarkable. It did its job, warm and comforting but not as flavorful and delicious as I wanted it to be.

Always greeted at the door and pick your own seat, super easy! Lately wife orders the fried crispy noodle combo (aka: bird's nest), and then a Phô bowl and of course A5: pork & shrimp spring roll. Servers check on you frequently for refills or anything you might need or just raise your hand and they'll come over. Pay at the desk. The menu had a bit too much going on and in my opinion -- restaurants should have a speciality rather than offer so many items because taste and quality loses itself somewhere in the middle of 100 different menu options. I know my partner and I are pho snobs but what we had wasn't even pho. The broth was basically hot water with a tad of salt or chicken bouillon. There were no hints of star anise, cinnamon (often referred to as Saigon cinnamon), cloves, black cardamom, coriander seeds, and fennel seeds -- nada. And the noodles were way too overcooked making my dish so difficult to eat. I ordered pho and it looked like pho -- but it tasted nothing close to it. I need to share that as a reality to the owner and staff so they can make changes to the quality of their food -- otherwise, I don't know if this place will survive the competition. Also, I observed a staff member behind the counter blending a smoothie of some sort, tasting it with a spoon, and then putting back said spoon into the smoothie to stir before pouring it into a cup (and I saw the cup delivered to a party a few tables down from us). That probably isn't very hygienic and it's sad to see that's how things are handled behind the scenes here. I just happened to look over from our table and was pretty disgusted. Moving on, I hope these guys shape up because the quality and taste of food was actually bad. And, I can rarely say that about restaurants I patronize because I love supporting local small businesses. Best of luck to these guys.

Believe me, I've been wanting to try their pho as well, but every single time, their BBH speaks to me. Simply put, it is a comforting hug in a bowl, filled generously with tender slices of meat, homemade meatballs, cha, pork blood cubes, and al dente noodles, all topped off with piping hot broth. It is served with a mountain of fresh herbs, and I always add extra chili oil and sate (that they keep in the fridge) for that extra oomph of flavor. While this location does not serve their BBH with a pork hock, I really don't care at all, because of how cohesive their bowls are every single time. Those homemade meatballs are really an element of the dish that I have not found at any other restaurants, even at BBH restaurants in the bay. Located right off Grant Line in the Sheldon area of Elk Grove, the restaurant is not big, but still has ample seating. The private parking lot has never been full when I've eaten there, but I also have never gone on a weekend. I usually enjoy coming when they very first open, and am always seated immediately. During lunch rush, I have noticed it can get pretty busy, with patrons dining in and to go orders alike. The owner is so nice and I rarely even look at the menu since I always know what I want. I don't usually order drinks as I like to get matcha in Elk Grove, but the one time I got a Thai tea, it was perfectly balanced with a good strength to it. Their menu on the whole is small, but still varied, so there is something for everyone's cravings. If you follow their Facebook page, they will announce weekend specials as well, so stay tuned for those. One day I swear I will try their pho, but for now, Pholicious is one of my top spots for BBH in the Sacramento area. I love supporting family-run businesses, and wish them nothing but continued success!

The attitude of the staff COMPLETELY changed from this point on: There was a different cashier, who gave us such a bad attitude, was so impaitient, rude, telling me that there is a 30+ min wait, how they are sold out on a couple things, etc. I eventually placed an order a 2nd time, overpassing the negative feeling I was still getting from the cashier. 2nd Order turned out even worse! -Mochi Waffle~ Barely any filling, just plain dough, no cheese or oreo at all!!! Such a rip-off! -Matcha Latte/Paris by Night~No flavor, just like plain milk in ice! -Grilled Beef Banh Mi~ Only 2 slices of beef, mostly just bread! So, I believe that they purposely make ur food bad on purpose, if they simply don't like u or u politely complain. So biased against customers. Terrible customer service! Waste of money! Not returning again!
