These stars may be a little misleading. I am giving 5 stars simply because I don't think there is a lot of good food available in Midtown and their vegan Pho was legit, as good as anything on Buford highway. It's not a destination type of place. If I was to go for a drive I would go to Lotus or pho nam on Buford highway. But in midtown and vegan this may be your best option. Hence the 5 stars. It is a proper sit down restaurant with parking available in the deck connected to the building it is housed in. They do mail out coupons for 5$ off if you live in the area so keep your eyes open for that sweet slice of free money! read more

The food is good but the customer service is VERY bad. Our server had to be reminded several times to bring out our drinks and orders of egg rolls, he got my order wrong and gave me an attitude about fixing it. I come here often and it's the same issue every time and they do not seem to care to fix the issue. I ended up not getting my food at all and when I asked the waiter about it he literally did not car, just shrugged his shoulders and went on to help other guests. Very poor service read more

I love pho. I basically get the same kind everywhere I go, so it makes it fairly easy to gauge quality. The pho here is fine, but lord there's a *ahem* pho-king lot of onions in this pho. Like an aggressive amount. But onions aside, I still thought it was a slight step below what I usually get. Nevertheless, it was still good. Pho is so good I'm half convinced you could throw an old sock in there and I'd still at least sip the broth like a savage. I ain't proud. read more

This pho place was a 10 min walk from our hotel, Loews Hotel. The service is fast but granted we came at 3:30pm. The pho combo was very tasty. It came in giant bowl. Came here because I love pho and really wanted to try their tendon pho because not all places have that. It was pretty good as was the bahn mí and egg rolls. The food also came out pretty fast which was a nice surprise. Giving 4 stars because service could've been better. Our waiter was nice but never visited our table after bringing us our food. He also got my order wrong but I never got to correct it because he never came back. We waited for a while to pay our check but eventually had to flag down another waiter for it because of that. Our waters also never got refilled because again, no one came to our table after we got our food. Anyone who did wait on us seemed to be in a hurry to leave. I either pick up or order from here weekly (sometimes multiple times). I just received my order of Pho and the broth was tied and packed (tightly) upside down in the bag. When I received it, all of the broth was in the bottom of the bag and the food was ruined. When I called to let them know (and that is was packed that way, it didn't turn over) they told me they couldn't help me that I should call the delivery service. Very cold and uncaring. The food is pretty good, all the veggies and herbs that come with the meal are fresh, which is not always the case for traditional pho restaurants from here to buhi! I got the pho with the rare steak. The cuts are much thicker than they usually are so it was a bit tough to chew. We also got the egg rolls, and lemongrass chicken, both of which were great. My only true complaint is the lack of service. Once you get your water you have to raise your hand and flag someone down to come and take your order. Which is odd because there always seems to be a surplus of staff by the registers. Once you get your food, forget it, they're done with you. We usually walk to the counter to pay. My boyfriend lives in midtown so we've been here often and nothing has changed. It's better than driving all the way to Buhi though! read more

It is very closed to publix and the marta station, and it has a big free parking lot next to it. Went their with my group, we ordered a big table before we visited, but we were separated to two table at first and waited at least half hour for a big table for us. Tried the milktea, but the bubble is hard and too sweet, so do not suggest. The pho were ok and the price is ok, you can decide the size of the pho. read more

Worst service ever ! Sat outside on a Friday afternoon. Not busy inside at all. The server plopped a menu on the table and never came back, no water or anything. I had to go get him. I asked him after waiting at least 7 mins why he never came back not even to bring water and he starred at me then asked was I ready to order. Not even an explanation why he hadn't come or an apology. He takes my order, brings my food back and then guess what ? Disappears AGAIN! I Waited for quite a bit before I went inside again to ask what's up. Another guy brings my check to me, again doesn't apologize then i just had to ask him why was the service so bad. It's not even busy. They were just in there rolling napkins. All he did was apologize. I tipped him accordingly. Exact bill all the way down to the change. I hate bad service. Hands down the best Pho in Atlanta! As you may know, there are a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in Metro Atlanta and many of them are in Alpharetta. I have had Pho in many of those restaurants and I have to say this one is much much better! The broth is definitely tastier, they fill your bowl with meat and the meat is fresh and tender. Very clean, very organized. The service is fast and the people are very polite. Will visit again soon. read more

Came here for lunch. Got the pork banh mi ($5) and the shrimp rolls ($3). The shrimp roll was pretty good, a little smaller than I'm used to but nothing major. The pork banh mi was a good size with an interesting taste. Definitely not the bbq pork that I am used to. Usually vietnamese bbq pork has a slightly sweet flavor. This one kinda just tasted like pork and sometimes had a bad flavor. But overall the sandwich was pretty good. The bread itself was not toasted so it was a soft bun which I actually preferred. Wait time was alright for lunch time but not super fast. I would recommend take out if you're in a rush. There is very limited street side parking so I would recommend walking over if you can. I would recommend this place since it is one of the only asian places in Midtown strangely, but don't expect the same quality that you will get on Buford hwhy or in Duluth. read more

Just moved to Atlanta and drove by this place. Decided to stop and I was glad I did! Their pho is great, and quick service! It came less than 3 minutes after I ordered it! Egg rolls weren't great so I wouldn't get them again but I'd definitely come back for the pho. It's flavorful, savory and a good portion of meat! I was in Atlanta during a freezing rainy week and was craving soup. I stumbled upon this place and ordered the vegetable soup. It was AMAZING! The broth was so flavorful and it came with a whole selection of add-ins: tofu, noodles, herbs, green onions, peppers, and sauce. It was so delicious with any amazing variety of tastes and textures, everything fresh-plus the portions are HUGE. I could have made two or three meals out of this. Such a bargain! Super thrilled to have this place open up attached to my Publix! A quick pop in there to order my yummy combination pho with the perfect combination of meats, quick grocery run and back to grab my take-out makes for a quick errand run! The bonus is that the medium sized bowl, which I believe is their large is enough for 2 meals, especially if paired with their awesome spring rolls or papaya salad w/ shrimp! My favorite restaurant. I am super picky but I literally have never had a complaint. They give you a lot of food for a good price and it's fast and clean. You have to park on the street and pay for parking but it's only $2. I always order P1 that's beef pho or I get R4 it's a beef rice plate. (I got it without the cucumber and tomato). read more

We were the only table when we arrived. The place has zero character and it was all downhill from there. We ordered two diet cokes that never came. They were too busy chatting on the phone to pay attention to the ONE table they had. The food comes next. My friend ordered something with spoiled shrimp and sent it back. I was presented with a mountain of rice and a few grisly cubes of meat. My friend had to ask for a menu to order something else. With no apologies after dropping off his new selection they never returned to the table. Finally we had to shout to get someone's attention to get the check. The manager's response was 'whatever.' I've been to the location off of Peachtree st. A few times and this new location is just as great! Some familiar faces from the other location which is nice, and same excellent food! Pho King (both Midtown and Buckhead locations) are great! It's one of the only places that has truly vegetarian pho made with vegetable broth. It's called the vegetarian noodle soup and it's delicious. I would highly recommended getting that if you're a vegetarian! read more

Good Vietnamese food was missing from Midtown, and cheeky name aside, Pho King fills the role nicely. It's some of the better pho in town, but not quite as good as Buford Highway options. Still, I've come back here several times when the craving hits. Service is usually really good, although oddly I've had to wait quite a while for my check on two occasions. The price is about what you'd expect - affordable, but a dollar or two more per dish than the places out in Dekalb/Gwinnett. You pay for the great walkable and MARTAable Midtown location. I haven't tried any of the non-pho options except for basil rolls, which were also good. Worth a try if you're looking for pho in Midtown. read more
