Pho

Always happy to eat pho here. It's fast, easy to find a table and tasty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of space and good service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've been here almost 10 times.

I love banh mi sandwiches a lot and found this place nearby and it seemed to have good options . So I called them up for take out order for pulled pork banh mi and they said it will be ready in 15 mins . I reached before 15 minutes were over and they had the order ready already ,which was impressive . The complex had ample parking . The prices are reasonable. The lady on the front counter was friendly. However my biggest issue was I felt there was very very less amount of actual pork in the banh mi. I have had banh mis from many places before and I have never seen so less meat inside . It felt like having a veg banh mi almost . Also it had a weird non pleasant subtle smell when the wrapper was on it . I am not sure what was it . I ate some of it but couldn't finish it all . This was the first time I so hated a banh mi . I will not buy banh mi sandwiches from here again . 2 stars for the friendly staff and for how quickly they served the order .

I came here on a late night after a long day of work and studying, and while all pho restaurants in the immediate area were closed, this one was open a little later. The staff was awesome and they didn't mind how late I came (30 min before closing). There was someone that came at 9pm on the dot. They were super accommodating and attentive. The food was prepared very nicely. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was large with seating for all types of parties.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now on for the food. I was craving a rice plate. I have yet to try the soups. The rice plate was delicious! I gotta say though, I was not a big fan of how they make their shrimp cake compared to other areas. I will definitely come back to try other food on the menu!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The service here was really poor and the ambiance is nothing special.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Nobody came to check in or refill my water while dining in. I waited at my table after I finished my pho and after waiting for a while I went up to the front to pay and they were confused on why I was there. I just told them I wanted to pay for my food since I didn't get the bill. The pho was okay, nothing special due to the meat feeling like an older low quality frozen cut steak. I wanted to give this place another shot, but they failed since the service was awful and the food was nothing special. I wouldn't recommend coming here after I've had a few poor experiences at this place.

All fat! Little to no meat!!!

First time ordering out ordered the number 10 to go very flavorful. The only thing is all the meat was very fatty very little meat to eat lots and lots of noodles. Curious if it would be different service if dining in.?

01-24-25 love the Pho here. Can't go wrong with the food. Service is good [[HIGHLIGHT]]dining area always clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Prices are fare. One of my go to places if I want some comfort food.

Came here a few times and they're always good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is clean and the service is good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm not in to Pho (yeah I know) so I get the rice plates and they are tasty. I got the lemon beef today and it was spicy and delicious. The spice was a 7 out of 10 which is my limit. My wife gets the Pho and she loves it. It's a solid place for Viet cuisine.

Party of six adults and two kids. I ordered a large rare steak pho which was good. Husband ordered the lemongrass rice plate which was tasty, but spicy. All in all, food was good and service was too.

I live very close to Pho LA and it has been way too long since I have been back. I was craving a sandwich, so I was originally headed to Mr. Pickle which is in the same shopping center, but I saw Pho LA and I was hoping they sold Banh Mi's. Right as you walk up to the restaurant, they had a sandwich board in front with the list of their Banh mi options. I ordered the BBQ Pork Banh Mi. It was very good and I will be back sooner than later to try the options.

One of the most popular K-food restaurants in the Bay Area, and their food is always a 10/10!…read more I've come back here so many times because all of their soups are so comforting, especially the galbitang - my absolute favorite. It feels just like a warm hug in a bowl! Their cold noodles, both spicy and non-spicy versions, are refreshing and perfect for cooling down summer heat. We also almost always order the mo deum soo yook for extra protein. It's a combination plate with boiled beef brisket, tail, and tendons. You will have to season them yourself with salt and pepper, but beef is always so soft and tender. I highly recommend ordering this only if you're dining with a group of 3 or more because the portion is huge! After finishing your meal, they'll serve you a yakult, super yummy and great for digestion (super thoughtful of them) They're busy and almost always have a waitlist, especially during peak dinner hours. From my experience, the longest I've waited was about 45 minutes, but normally it's only around 20-30 minutes. There's a boba shop nearby where you can grab a drink while waiting. Overall, I have nothing to complain about with this place. Try it once and you'll understand why everyone loves it!

-1 for service…read more Kunjip is always a hit! Came here on a Saturday around noon and thankfully we were early enough to avoid a wait. they don't allow outside drinks, which is a bummer because it was so hot and our drinks would go bad if left in the car. I got the galbi tang and they gave a good amount of beef! I was able to take home for a second meal :) i also love their kimchi. maybe around 10 minutes after we got our soup, we had asked for refills on the sides. when we got the refills, we also got our bill. we were no where close to being done eating and the servers would constantly check our table to see if we're done or needed boxes. while we were boxing our leftovers, the server aggressively took our soups (half way in the air trying to pour it) from us and packed it herself. my friend was trying to get the bone out first but the server was just awfully impatient. The whole dine-in experience felt very uncomfortable, especially since we were still actively eating.

The uzumakiya udon was sooo flavorful and yummy. A tiny bit oily, but I liked how the broth stayed light yet the meal was very filling. I rarely see crispy lotus root, so I really cherished it. Udon noodles were very qq. Wanna try the spicy one next time!

Uzumakiya had beef broth, supposedly oxtail broth. It's lighter in consistency than the ramen broth. Tasted more meaty without being heavy or fatty. The noodles were thicker but not chewy. The chashu (pork) slices that came with it was tender with just enough fat to give it the umami flavor. The Tonkotsu Ramen had the thinner noodles. The broth was creamier and richer than the beef broth but not bold or complex compared to other ramen broths I've had but still has a nice balance of flavor between the pork and dashi. Had the same chashu slices. Had more umami flavor than the Udon. Love the Hojicha Panna Cotta. Very smooth consistency. I felt like I'm eating something fancy but not heavy. Combination of light roasted tea and milk flavor. Just the right amount of sweetness. Enjoyed this the most. They had a $3 discount on their Udon. Food came out quickly. Staff were welcoming.

I love the concept of malatang. You grab a bowl, load it up with everything your heart desires,…read morepick your broth and they cook it all for you. The concept might be simple but the possibilities are endless! I went absolutely overboard with my proteins (both beef and lamb), enoki mushroom, napa cabbage, tripe, baby corn, fish balls filled with roe and tofu skin. I saw that they had tofu mochi too and it was one of the best new things I decided to give a try. The bone broth was rich, flavorful and had that perfect mala kick with the numbing spice. I got mild flavor so it was not the kind of spicy that I could not tolerate. Each topping also soaked up all the flavorful broth. My friend got the medium spicy bone broth and that was packed a punch! I love how all the ingredients are fresh and fully restocked. The staff is very efficient. And they also give out vouchers, and free oranges.

I was looking forward to trying this place, but unfortunately I left disappointed…read more The first thing I noticed was that the bowls and tongs didn't appear very clean. On the positive side, they do offer a large variety of ingredients to choose from. When my bowl was served, I realized it wasn't the one I had ordered. They had accidentally switched my bowl with another customer's. Later, while eating, I came across some of the marinated cilantro beef, which looked raw. I asked the server if it could be cooked a bit longer, but she explained that it was supposed to be pink. I tried a small piece, but the texture was still very tender, which made me uncomfortable. It also didn't have the texture of what I expected from beef. My cousin also had an issue with her bowl. The lotus root slices were cut fairly thick, so after cooking, it was still undercooked and crunchy. Overall, it was a disappointing experience due to the cleanliness concerns, the order mix-up, and the food quality. There are plenty of ingredient options, but I don't see myself returning.

We came about 20 mins before lunch closing and the restaurant was still super busy, which is always a good sign. Luckily we only waited a few minutes before getting seated. The space is bright and cute, and I really liked the open kitchen and the ox logo on the wall. We got to try the Firecracker Fries, Spicy Shrimp & Pork Wontons, and the Traditional Beef Noodle Soup with thick noodles. The Firecracker Fries were definitely my favorite. Crispy outside, soft inside, flavorful with a little kick, and honestly addicting. The wontons were soft and packed with filling, although sweeter than spicy to me personally. The beef noodle soup was really comforting. Broth had a nice herbal flavor, noodles were chewy, and the beef was tender. The regular size was actually huge, enough for us to share and still have leftovers to bring home. Service was fast and friendly, we literally the last table there but they really took good care of us. Overall, really great experience and now I'm already craving those Firecracker Fries again.

The AYCE runs for 90 minutes and is $24.99 during lunch and $30.95 during dinner time. They also charge for leftover food which is $6 per lb. We ended up doing the normal one pot hot pot for each person.    I always get my usual lamb hot pot which already comes with vermicelli noodles and choose rice as my free side dish. There are various levels of spiciness and I chose extra spicy which is a level down from there flaming spicy from what I can recall. Honestly it was not spicy enough but I did not want to get the spiciest level in fear that it would be too oily. Perhaps I will try that the next time to see if it is.    They have a bar further in the back of the restaurant where you can get creat your sauce and get some garnishes for your hot pot. I also noticed they have some other sides like noodles and such next to it. It seems if you are not participating in AYCE you can still get sauces and garnishes but I am not sure about the other sides.    The interior has changed from the last time I came here and it looks nice! Service was standard and everyone was nice. It does feel more chaotic now that they have AYCE but that  is understandable.
