Delete all your dating apps because Pho Lovers will be your true love, kissing and boiling into the sunset with your Prince Charming. Vietnamese restaurants are ubiquitous in the Bay Area, making it difficult to find places that really hit the spot. No fancy castle or horse-drawn carriage here, but I like how casual the inside of the restaurant is. The Princess and the Pea walked so we could run because there are a handful of comfortable seating arrangements. The interior leans more modern while still paying homage to traditional Vietnamese decor. Pho is great and all, but the Three Little Bears have found a new dish that's neither too hot nor too cold -- Bo Ne. Bo Ne is one of my favorite Vietnamese dishes, and it's hard to find places that serve it. Even fewer places do it just right, making me feel like Goldilocks. I love the banh mi that comes with the Bo Ne because it has a thin, crunchy, flaky crust with a fluffy, soft inside that absorbs the sauce perfectly. The steak was tender and paired perfectly with the pâté, giving you that satisfying flavor that constantly has you reaching for more. Once you place your order, the food comes out super fast. No Big Bad Wolf here to blow your wallet down because the prices are affordable and the portions are large. Huff and puff as hard as you can, but this place is here to stay. I would definitely recommend it, and I'll definitely be back. I hope you enjoy this place as much as I do.

On an emergent trip to the East Bay, I stumbled upon this spot. Friendly service, clean ambiance, A+ presentation of food, & excellent / authentic pho broth -- so that checks all the boxes! Left feeling this was a pleasant experience, so I decided to leave a quick review to spread the word to others to give it a try. You won't be disappointed. Lastly noting for others there are no bowl sizes here, the pho comes in 1 size only. If I'm in the neighborhood again I'm planning to come back.

#5. Rare Filet Mignon Steak, Well Done Flank Noodle Soup

When it's cold, you already know it's soup time! Weekday dinner is not busy, no line which was awesome since it's been cold. The restaurant has about 10 tables. Ordered #5. Rare Filet Mignon Steak, Well Done Flank Noodle Soup ($15.95). I noticed right away that the soup is a bit sweeter than other pho I've had. The soup flavor was good, I think it is sweet from Star anise and cinnamon possibly. Plenty of tender meat too for all the scrumptious bites. The noodles had great chew too which I prefer. I think one thing to consider is having a two sizes for pho. Overall, tiny store with great pho and will be back for more pho and sugar cane drink!

First time visit. I tried their wok fried beef with pho. It's different. The beef is extremely tender and buttery. Soup is hot enough. The restaurant is tiny but has good vibe. Service is good and well mannered. Definitely will come back again.

Came here on a Sunday around 2:30pm they close at 3 pm but they still welcome us. We had a miscommunication about our orders but the gentleman there was very kind and willing to change back to our order. The noodles still good and order the sugarcane&pennywort drink! Loved it

I've been looking for a place that has sizzling plate on the menu!! Pho Lovers is located in Dublin's Ulferts Center where I believe Yakitori used to be. I think weekday lunch is the best time to go as there was no wait! Sizzling Caramelized Pork & Rice Combo ($16.95): Ugh this was so good. Craving satisfied! A spoonful of crispy pork, pâté, runny egg, green onions and rice just hits the spot. Maybe a dribble of sriracha. I'm salivating again. The side salad it came with had a nice dressing, and the pho broth was bomb.com. Really good value! C10 Green Tea with Egg Crème ($5.50): Also good value because the cup is very tall/large lol. I'm pretty sure the green tea is matcha! My sister ordered the #1 Special Pho, and she said the meat was really tender. My sample of broth made me want to try the pho next time!

Disappointed: The meat on top of the beef bone had already been cut off when it was served; only the meat on the two sides remained

Overall, the dishes look fine, but the food and taste are below average and the service is average. The restaurant is not big and good for small groups. 10% off if you pay cash. My bill was around $70 including tax and tips.

Decided to check out Pho Lovers in Dublin to try their Banh Mi Chao and was curious to see how a Tri-Valley Vietnamese spot would measure up. We both ordered the Banh Mi Chao, one with caramelized pork and one with beef ribs. The dishes were pretty good overall. However, I did find them to be a little on the oily side. As expected for the area, the prices were definitely higher than what you would find for a similar dish in San Jose, but for Dublin, it's a solid option. While it wasn't the best Banh Mi Chao I've ever had, it was a good meal and a welcome addition to the local food scene. If you're in the area and craving Vietnamese, it's a good option.

Small little restaurant with maybe 8 tables. Parking can be tough during lunch hours since it's in a busy plaza. On the table: Sizzling pan beef ribs: 3.5/5 ribs were a bit tough still and no flavor besides the grilled onions on top. Comes with two over easy eggs, salad, and soup. You can choose rice or a baguette. Soup is too oily for my pallette. Banh mi bo lac: 3/5 banh mi was mid and could have had more pate and butter. Meat was flavorful but overall is was a bit dry. Nuoc mia: 4/5 definitely refreshing and not overly sweet but I could barely taste the sugarcane. I do like that they used crushed ice. Coconut coffee: 3.75/5 Coconut cream overpowered the coffee a bit. I prefer my Vietnamese coffee to be a bit more on the bitter side. Overall decent spot for Vietnamese noms and you get a small discount for paying with cash.

Good restaurant but probably better to eat there - pho: get the wok seared one, you won't regret the depth of flavor and how clean the broth it - salted coffee perfect and not overly sweet Giving 3 stars to the banh mi sandwich. Ordered 2 of the beef ones. As a to go order these should be wrapped in sandwich paper, by the time we picked it up the bread was soggy and chewy. Also the filling was disappointing. One had lots of meat and veggies were ok but it needs some salt. The other one barely had any meat. Strange it wasn't consistent. I still will come for the pho but I probably will skip on the sandwiches next time.

*LOCATION* This cute little restaurant is located in Ulferts Center. It shares the same parking lot as many other restaurants and Bank of America. I'd suggest parking on the back side because it's easier to find a spot during peak times. *WAIT TIME* My friend and I had a dinner date a few Fridays ago ~6:30pm. There was no wait as only a few tablets were occupied. *FOOD* We opted for the classic pho and it did not disappoint! The broth tasted flavorful but seemed sweeter than other places I've tried. They were generous with the meat portions and I ended up having to pack leftovers to take home. I'd definitely want to come back to try some of the other interesting menu items! *SERVICE* Our waiter was friendly and brought us our waters shortly after we were seated. She also came by several times to check on us while we were being indecisive with what to order :) *AMBIENCE* The interior was modern, well-lit and clean. All good vibes!

After we finished our massage, we saw this place. The menu items were very attractive. We both ordered the beef ribs and eggs combo. Overall, the food was slightly sweet. I don't know why; maybe it was the ingredients. The customer service is great, and the food portion is very generous. :)

We came back to this place because we were craving Hainanese Chicken Rice and Laksa Noodle Soup…read more These were the three dishes we ordered: First was the K1 Special Laksa Fish Noodle Soup, $16.50, or 招牌叻沙魚綫面 (叻沙湯). I had tried this dish before and enjoyed it, but I didn't remember the broth being so light. I thought the dish would've benefited from a thicker and creamier broth. I think adding some coconut cream to increase the creaminess would've made it better, imho. That said, the real highlight of this dish was still the fish noodles. They were these long, tube shaped pieces of fish cake that acted like noodles, and they were delicious and felt high in protein. The bowl also came with a good amount of toppings. I especially loved their beef balls because they were so firm and almost crunchy when I bit into them. There was also shrimp, Napa Cabbage, and other toppings that made the bowl feel hearty. My mom got the K8 Slice Beef Laksa Fish Noodle Soup, $16.95, or 肥牛叻沙魚綫面 (叻沙湯). This was very similar to the K1, but the main difference was that it came with thinly sliced beef on top. The beef looked really good, and honestly, I kind of wished I had ordered this one because I like to try something new. It also came with the same delicious fish noodles, so this is probably what I'll try next time. The last dish was the K9 Signature Hainan Chicken Over Rice, $15.50, or 招牌海南鷄飯. My only gripe with this dish was the same as last time. The chicken was chopped right through the middle of the bone, so there were little bone shards mixed in with the meat, which I hate. I really didn't enjoy having to worry about biting into one while eating. Aside from that though, I thought the presentation was much better this time around. It also seemed like they gave us a little more chicken, and the meat was incredibly juicy and succulent. I especially loved how the skin was glistening with the oil. I also loved the whole presentation of the plate, which came with the Chicken and Rice, some kind of Cucumber Salad, Quail Eggs, and a small bowl of Broth on the side.

Overall, I really enjoyed the food here. The chicken rice was aromatic, flavorful and had a really nice texture to it. The chicken is tender and the thin outer skin has a gelatinous quality to it like a well-prepared Hainanese chicken. Honestly I had no notes on this dish. Hard to improve. I generally avoid roast duck at restaurants because of how fatty it is, but the one here was surprisingly good. While there were a few pieces with a thick section of fat between the skin and the meat, the majority of the pieces had a nice balance. There's a sweet tangy sauce that's included on the side with the duck that I really enjoyed as well. If you're looking for lean duck, you'll probably want to stick with the Chiu Chow marinated duck. Service is pretty minimal here, but our waitress stopped by our table once to refill our waters and to check on how we liked the food. Overall, 4.5 stars rounding up to a 5.
